OCTOBER or NOVEMBER is the best tome to get them installed to avoid COSTLY peak periods. Living in tropical Townsville one did not need reverse cycle. This is the first review on here relating to the "C" Series.

Have seen a couple of reviews here on Product Review that were quite negative, so I bought one for the heck of it to see what all the fuss was about, knowing that Rinnai have been around FOREVER and Rinnai having factories in Australia, and being a Japanese Company, I had to see for myself.

One will provide a FULL update as soon as it's installed and give a detailed run down of the GOOD, the BAD, and if applicable, THE UGLY.

...................UPDATE DECEMBER 2024...................

Had the unit installed 14 days ago by the best (and most expensive) professionals in Townsville, who had no problems installing this unit, and being a powerful unit, one has only had to run it on LOW FAN and ECONOMY MODE, and yes, it cools my bedroom like a fridge, AND THE NEXT ROOM AS WELL! I must say though, I do have double insulation in the walls and ceilings, and living up here in Townsville, it cuts power bills incredibly!

The remote control is simple, and the unit inside is as quiet as a church mouse, as is the unit outside especially when on "QUIET" mode.

I am so happy with this unit (so far).

Please see the video below so you can gauge the decibel output of this unit in "ECONOMY MODE". even in low fan mode (which I really do not need yet), the unit inside and out is quiet, and having autism, that is important for me, especially with my sensory issues! Looking now for an aircon for the lounge room too when I get around to it after cyclone season having just bought 3 more generators (see my review on here for those). . .
