I have mostly Rip Curl in everything from wetsuit shorts & spring suits to steamers. I didn't like the one I recently bought online & returned it. It was free postage to buy it & surprisingly free to return. My refund was made the day it was delivered. Can not fault that for service ! Show details

any alternative or agree to return to a local supplier. Purchased a Rip Curl wallet which was to replace a previous one I had had for well over 10 years after 4 years new wallet had completely fallen apart. Contacted customer service and only response has been the automated reply.

They are no longer the premium product to reflect the premium price they charge for the low quality items they now sell.

Corporate Arrogance – Made an online purchase and duly paid. Partial refund received but no explanation, no response to emails . It's the arrogance you don't expect with pricey goods.

Bad customer service – I spent $140 yesterday on some shorts and a hat. They have a special if you spend over $70 you can buy a cotton backpack for $20 I forgot to claim this at checkout yesterday so went back with the receipt to claim it today. Doh it has to be on the day of purchase NOT HAPPY RIPCURL BLOODY RIDICULOUS . LOST THIS CUSTOMER FOR THE SAKE OF $20 NO MORE $700 wetsuits for me.

Boycott – Was my favourite brand, now embarrassed to wear anything with their logo. Support the .5%, [Content Removed] over the 49.75%. This will fail miserable.... Eventually. The most expensice wetsuits that fall apart in 3 weeks of normal use – I bought 2 e7 heatseekers top of the line at the time. the 3/2 leaked from day 2, the 4/3 got maybe 8 good surfs in before it started leaking through both armpits. 1 side very badly. Fusion top the line $800 suit. Ive used it about 6 times one of the "seams that don't leak" is leaking as though its not even been joined. I was going to buy a 3/2 fusion. but i think its even worse than the not acceptable quality E7 heat seeker. Its the neoprene that disintegrates in the arm pits.

I want to review them on thier own site. which I'm a member of, but it wont let me. or they've made it very difficult to do. For reasons i can imagine most of them would be 1 star for quality. they fit great, perform great but they dont keep you warm which i the F purpose.

say they would change the battery, I explained that it didn’t work even with new battery installed and I would like it repaired under warranty, was told I’d voided the warranty because I got a jeweler to change battery and not them! Sounds like a good excuse to avoid fixing their products under warranty! I live hundreds of klms from a service centre so it would mean each time you need battery replacement ( twice in 12 months for this particular watch) I would need to send it away and have jo watch for weeks at a time! Absolutely rubbish service and product warranty, will never ever set foot in a Ripcurl shop again and will never purchase the Ripcurl brand again!

Brand New Thongs Only Last 2 weeks – I have been using Ripcurl thongs for past 10 years. Suddenly the Quality dropped from 10 to -10. Bought 2 pairs of thongs. Poor Support – I have had good luck with my Ripcurl products until this week. An eyelet at the top of my board shorts became separated from the fabric. Ripcurl will not provide me with a replacement. Rash night shirt – I bought a ripcurl rash 4 months ago (ripcurlk at Salt) which is now unwearable. The sleeves are so loose they ride up above the elbow, the stitching has come out and the rash has stretched to mid boardie length; just looks awful. Great item, fast delivery – Great online shopping experience. Purchased a rash vest and it was delivered within two days, even though it's the week before Christmas. I love it when businesses just deliver what they promise, I wish they were all this good.
