I have ordered multiple items from rivers online 2.5 months ago, on 2 different occasions i have not received 10 items,,10 items missing , and no response just automated responses i believe it is a fraud and all the money is lost ,Iam not sure if there is any legal action we can take though ?

waited on the phone for hours once. Cannot locate a form for a refund. No communication. They’ve taken my money, all I need is what I purchased or some sort of communication saying they will refund me. Very poor service.

I see Rivers gone bust. I suspect diminishing quality over time. I bought a pair of rivers elastic sided, Chelsea boots (not unlike RM Williams, made with a single piece of leather, only seam is at the back). They were $100 in the mid 90s. They have been resoled twice and are still going strong. I bought their work boots (not steel toe) about 25… Read more

years ago. They have the Goodyear weld. They are comfortable and still going strong. I have a couple of pairs of Rivers desert boots, cannot comment on longevity, but they are comfortable. I have a pair of zip sided ‘vegan’, ie. not leather, boots. I liked them, but not overly durable. If Rivers stuck to quality products instead of flooding the market with rubbish, they might have had a chance.

Worse service by any company – Ordered shoes a week before I needed them. 10 days later they still haven't sent them. I cancelled the order and they refused. Just a grub of a company. Trust me stay well clear.

Excellent – I have order so many things on sale from rivers everything always is always delivered within a couple odmf weeks, which is awesome. The quality is always amazing better than expected, the dale items are always so cheap but excellent quality definitely recommend

Very negative dissatisfaction experience. It has taken me huge time in searching and finally put a clearance coat to cart as virtually all are not in stock and some were listed as available but then out as you add to cart so very misleading. weeks, send you a refund of the item which was originally expensive. So they have dishonestly got massive bank interests from many customers for this clearance and we lost huge time and shipping fee. They even continue to send you promotional emails for the sales! No wonder they have to close down

Placed an order in February. One item out of three arrived with a notice saying the balance of the order would be sent shortly. Zero reply’s from Rivers, their website is now taken down. The administrators must have ripped off numerous customers by failing to fulfil orders.

Online order placed 3 weeks ago, emailed every week to see what was happening as never received anything. Finally after 4 weeks got a tracking no received 3 weeks later won't ever buy from here again ridiculous very poor customer service, explains why there closing down.

Online shopping is disgusting. I've been waiting 6 weeks for final delivery from 2 different orders. Some items were delivered but many haven't worth $700 still not delivered. stock, customers should be refunded immediately and notified. We shouldn't have to call numerous times to get progress updates.

disgraceful service Mosaic brands. Ordered from Rivers on the 16.2.25 10 days later no tracking number, no reply to email, no acknowledgement of order, website order number update doesn't work. Forget buying at the closing down sale. I guess that's what happens with greed. Destroyed many good retail shops. Would give no stars if possible.

Menswear no longer a focus – Rivers used to be a male focused shop one of the few that had sizes up to 4xl. The store then became female focused to the point where menswear and large sizes became obsolete. Sad, but it’s pointless for men now.

Terrible Quality and Service – Avoid at All Costs – Do not buy anything from Rivers NZ! The clothing I purchased was of shockingly poor quality—the worst I’ve ever seen. When I tried to return the items, they refused to issue a refund and only offered a coupon to purchase more of their low-quality products. This demonstrates a complete lack of accountability for their substandard goods. Save your money and shop elsewhere.

Poor quality fabric t shirts – I bought 4 different coloured ladies t shirts online. They are advertised as 100% cotton but they are full of static electricity. They are very thin and too see-through to wear. They most definitely wouldn't be suitable to wear outside in the sun. Not useful at all and a waste of money.

Expensive Temu products – I used to love Rivers basic long sleeve t-shirt but quality has gone, no stretch anymore. Plus Rivers is just Temu stuff at a high price, found something I liked on Rivers for over $75 on Temu for under $17.

Use with caution – I ordered clothing from their online store. 4 days after placing my order, my credit card received a fraudulent charge from New York NY. It was only after I made a complaint to Rivers online "either send my order now or cancel and refund my money" did they actually send my order. Use their online website with extreme caution.

Rivers website is a scam – They don't give any updates on the order and the website keeps changing my name and my delivery address. I also can't complete the online form to get in touch with them as the order number doesn't work and it keeps making up other errors so I cannot submit an enquiry. I think this whole website is a scam and I am going to lodge a complaint with the NSW Ombudsman about my experience.

Not happy – Placed my order on 19th of September had to wait for over a month as Rivers had an IT problem with PayPal, then the shoes I bought were a smaller size than marked. Not happy. Cost too much to send back.
