remained “Sender is preparing the parcel” for weeks. I did not receive any replies until I started posting publicly on social media and demanding a response.
After more than a month, I was finally told the order was only handed over to Australia Post, long after the date I needed it. The gift is now useless to me because I was travelling overseas on 7th December and the purpose of the order was completely missed.
What frustrated me the most was the lack of communication. I was repeatedly checking, asking for updates, and trying to get answers, but no one responded until I chased aggressively. I was then told that they had reached out to me multiple times, but I have no record or proof of any such contact from them, despite checking email and messages carefully.
This is not the first time I have had issues. A previous order was returned in perfect condition but I was only given store credit instead of a refund. I used that credit because I hoped this experience would be better, but unfortunately the same communication problems happened again.
Based on my experience: • Shipping was delayed far beyond a reasonable timeframe • Communication was extremely poor • I only received responses after posting publicly • A time-sensitive gift was completely missed
I understand that delays can happen, especially during busy periods, but customers should be informed honestly and in a timely way. Being ignored for weeks and then told “we reached out” when there is no evidence feels very disappointing.
I hope the company improves its communication and handling of online orders. Unfortunately, because of these issues, I cannot recommend Royalis Melbourne at this time.
Terrible – Attached photo portrays and accurate depiction of what you are getting - $5 products from China marked up to $180 to create a “Royal” feel. Placed two orders on 23rd Oct. Still have received nothing and all I’ve gotten is the emails to say your order is shipping, here is your tracking number. All the tracking number shows on the auspost website is ‘Label created by sender.’ Sent 3 emails so far asking for updates which have all been ignored, including the last one which threatened to go to the ACCC. Ordered chain and bracelet and they sent wrong size. Sent them photos to show wrong item and sent numerous emails, sent messages via their Instagram page and via their website. and no response to my emails, I opened a dispute with Afterpay. They then informed Afterpay that I was just trying to get my money back and keep the item, insinuating I hadn't sent the item back. I had no proof that I did. I continued to fight it saying why would I keep something I hadn't ordered. Ended up with nothing and lost $213 in the process. If anything goes wrong with your order their customer service is terrible and they'll just throw "it's policy not to rectify until they receive the wrong order back" at you. At the end of the day the item was poor quality anyway. The whole experience with them was stressful. Its not about losing the money. Its basically being called a liar and a thief. The only liars and thieves are Royalis.
