Great service

Policy was great value for money. I am a student so only paying $52 a month for the amount of cover I receive is amazing. The service was quick and easy, I called up and the policy was set up in minutes.

Absolute lack of service

Had a claim rejected dated 9 days ago, no reason provided. I have called 4 times and sent 2 emails following up. Currently on hold again, 9 minutes so far.

Easy to Insure

It appears the insurance amount represents good value.
The web page is easy to follow and easy to understand.
The PDS could be a bit shorter but it is easy to understand

Has made such a big difference

Really easy to set up, well worth the cost, has covered huge portion of every claim that we have put in over the last four years. Really easy to use the online portal and anytime I have needed to speak to someone I have got straight through and they have been soo helpful.

Excellent service and prompt pay out!

I’ve been with RSPCA Pet Insurance for approx 4 years, both my cat and dog are insured through them. I’ve had to make a number of claims including a large one last month for my cat. The claim was paid out less than 48 hours after it was lodged. Since then I have had a couple of smaller claims and same again, these have been dealt with very promptly. On the odd occasion that I have had reason to call them, the service representatives have been incredibly helpful! I spoke with a guy by the name of Rafael today and he was amazing, their call centre staff are the best I’ve ever come across. I highly recommend RSPCA Pet Insurance.

It's been a lifesaver.

I have had my Bulldog with RSPCA since the day we got him 6+ years ago. I reckon we have received close to $25k back in that time. Without it we would be in so much trouble. He has needed so much help with allergies and surgeries, the claims are always settled within 3-5 days.

Absolutely awful experience, very stressful

The policy was easy to set up. My last claim has left us infuriated however. RSPCA kept asking us for vet history they already received 8 years ago. They sent us 4 letters, 3 of which were sent after 3 very long phone calls explaining they have all the info they were asking for. We have claimed many times over the last 8 years with no mention of this before which leads us to believe they have lost the info we sent them. Unfortunately, we cannot move insurers due to the age of the dog but would strongly recommend looking at other insurance companies rather than RSPCA. It took over 2 months for the claim to be finalised adding more unnecessary stress on top of a very already stressful time

Life Saving Operation? No problem!

I've been with RSPCA for over a decade with no major claims. My 13 year old fur baby was seen by the vet on Friday, booked for an ultrasound to investigate a suspect mass in her abdomen on Tuesday and operated on to remove her spleen on Thursday. Preapproval for her operation came through in a flash, and thanks to the skill of the vets and the willingness of RSPCA Pet Insurance to take into account the urgency of Daisy's situation, we have a healthy dog and a very relieved owner.

High PRICE!!!! for nothing

And you have to wait for 45 min to ask a question!!
we paid for 7 years to RSPCA and we reached $1200 a year and we had no CLAIMS.
please don't do it with RSPCA!!!!

Brilliant! Couldn't be happier!

Very happy with all aspects of our Pet insurance policy we had it for approx 9 years and all of our claims were dealt with promptly and paid out very quickly it was exactly what was required and I would recommend RSPCA Pet Insurance.

I have a partner in looking after my dog

I have been with RSPCA pet insurance for about four years. The policy was not difficult to maintain because of flexible payment options.
My dog is now 11 years old and recently needed more visits to the vet and also medication. My vet offers to make claims on my behalf but I find it quicker to do it myself - I just ask for the vet consultation notes and the upload them and the invoice at the online portal. The insurance responds within a few days. . .

So glad I took out pet insurance with the RSPCA they really are the best.

The refunds are so easy, drop the forms off to the vet and they enter them into their computer and send directly to RSPCA, fast and efficient, I had my claims refund within 5 days of the vet sending the invoices. I did a lot of I. Estimations as to who to go with when I got my puppy, and after speaking with many pet owners found that RSPCA have the highest ratings.

Insurance 12 years on!

I've never regretted having RSPCA Pet Insurance for my Dachshund. From a puppy to adulthood, I know that I always have the protection I need. It's now even easier to claim, as it's online with my Vet Clinic. I'm also impressed that the cover continues, regardless of age.

Good Value Insurance with excellent customer ratings.

I have been insured since 2013 for my dog. We have had quite a few claims and to date it has all been straight forward and easy to claim, would definitely recommend RSPCA Insurance to anybody looking to cover their pet.

Very good

I have had insurance for my dog for six years now. Up to now service has been excellent. I would like the sub limits to be a bit higher than they are. $50 per year for immunisations doesn't cover much.

Hi team I changed from my previous insurance company who I had been with for over 8 years (with very few claims) as I was unhappy with the changes in my policy and had read so many good reviews about RSPCA. I had my dog examined by the vet to complete the cruciate ligament form late afternoon on 18 April and posted it the next day (Good Friday) in a post box outside my local post office. I received a letter dated 5 May saying the form would not be accepted as it was received more than 14 days after examination date and I would have to visit my vet again at my cost and resubmit the form. I called your office today and was informed the form was received 3 May ... 1 day after the 14 days allowed! Surely there could be an allowance made for the Easter and Anzac Day public holidays with Australia Post delivery times? I do not have access to a fax and was only told today that it is possible to email the form (which is not stated on the form). I’m really not happy with having to pay another examination fee when through no fault of mine the form arrived 24 hours after the designated time frame! Can you please reconsider before I have to visit the vet tomorrow evening for another examination?

I think that your insurance company should pay you as well and do not go to the vet because really, if you can keep your animal in good health, it is better than going to the vet. I have a ultimate policy for my cat, but its now over $50 a fortnight! I have made one small claim in the past 7years and got back $50! I find these fortnightly payments extreme! How do i cancel my policy? Is there a penalty for cancelling before policy expires?

What is the dollar figure given to RSPCA? it says only 'up to' 10% of premiums in first year. What about years after that?

Hi there, depending on your coverage type, up to 10% of your premiums go towards the RSPCA to support animals that aren't as lucky as your pets, for the first 12 months of your policy.What about after the first 12 months?
