I ordered 8 or 9 X 3 pack of expensive condoms as THEY were out of bulk. I spent over $40 PLUS postage. And they literally sent me 3 CONDOMS!?!?!?! with a receipt for 3 condoms. the website for any email to reach them and communicate but there is non, the number they had on the website is 24/7 Auto machine. I had no chance only to open case on PayPal. the awful part is Paypal asked me to return the shampoos on my own cost with promise to refund me $40 out of $60. so if I'm sending the shampoo by Australian post this will cost me around $15-$20, so all I get back is $20?? PayPal won't allow me to get my full refund for no reason?? page as they have no contact number. I have asked multiple times for someone to call me and they never do. I get a new person through the portal every time and you have to retell the story. I have sent heaps of photos and and asked for my items to be replaced as they have all been contaminated and it seeped into everything! They not only have taken so long to reply or not reply at all but are not willing to replace or refund my order! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I am now going through a long dispute with PayPal as the company has obviously zero customer service skills and do not care about keeping their customers happy.

Wish I'd read the reviews. Buy from a reputable Australian company...don't buy from RY – The reviews (negative ones that is) don't lie. They're cheap for sure. But you pay for it in other ways. outsourced 3rd party offshore company run in India who use pre-defined scripts on how to deal with customers and can't think.

I'm even starting to wonder if this company is even in Australia based on the interactions I've had.

You are then asked a series of questions which feel like some kind of delaying tactic to try to put customers off from getting returns or refunds (which is actually illegal under Australian consumer law).

Questions like - what is your phone number (well that was provided already on my order...does your system not store information) and have you used this product before (how on earth is that relevant?) and the batch number (again, relevance?).

So after wasting time responding, then more questions....this time, what is the expiry date? Again, relevance given the product has been opened and partially used.

I then asked to speak to an Australian representative, and a contact no - "we don't do calls?". Right...again, lousy customer service.

So speaking to their live agent, you have to tell them the situation all over again, because they can't access the internal messaging system. I kid you not. You couldn't make this stuff up.

They then tell me I need to wait 5 days for someone from their quality team to investigate?? What planet is this company on? I want a replacement or a refund, a normal process for any reputable Australian company...and it takes 5 days to even get that looked at?

I then indicate that is unsatisfactory and I'd like to speak to management.

"Who is your managing director"? Again, a stonewall."Please note that we do not have the email that goes straight to a complaint team however I can raise the complaint please confirm you complaint so that I can raise it."

Looks like Victoria consumer affairs will be hearing from me this week.

Disconcerting that RY.com would dictate how a customer can pay and alter the payment method – I selected a number of products and proceeded to checkout, intending to use my PayPal account for payment. I was under the impression that I could avail of the 4 X installment payment option that PayPal offers to its customers. service, I was informed that the 4 X installment payment option is only available to Klarna and Afterpay customers. I find this quite perplexing and frankly, unfair. As a customer, I believe I should have the freedom to choose my preferred payment method and the terms that come with it, especially when these options are made available by the payment institution itself.

It is disconcerting that RY.com would dictate how a customer can pay and alter the payment method offered by another institution, in this case, PayPal. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.

I believe that all customers should have the right to choose their preferred payment method and the associated terms without interference.

They had not told me, they hadn't refunded me, they were not going to do anything until I reached out. They have said they will send a replacement but I still don't have a shipping number and they are in no hurry. If they can, they will screw you around so much that you just walk away and let them keep your money.

Terrible customer service. Not providing agreed refunds – Terrible customer service. Avoid! Order an item and a separate attachment for that item. It broke with a few weeks. It was under warranty. They agreed to refund. I sent the item and attachment back. They refunded the item but not the attachment. They ignore messages and just tell me they are checking with customer service or the warehouse but then never get back to you. It’s been two months.

the payment after 4 days and RY said why didn't you place another order if you didn't get an invoice email.... I explained I didn't want to be charged for a non existent order as my bank and PP already showed the amount was pending. They just kept saying we are waiting to hear from finance, of we are busy and we need to go through logs, always a random excuse, but after PP cancelled the "lost" order payment I did try again but RY would not let the exact order price be used and all items had to be at full price again. I placed order again anyway and the same thing happened again. Took money and said there was no order. I have my bank statement and PP statement to show and provided RY with everything but it was back and forth with nonsense. DO NOR PURCHASE FROM RY or their alternative business name/ website.

holidays in there, maybe staff were on leave, no big deal - but I followed up to see if there was an out of stock item delaying my order. They said they raised it with their support team and I'd hear something in 3-5 days. I didn't hear anything. One item was eventually refunded but it still hadn't shipped. I followed up again 8 days later and was told my order had been placed on hold and had to be manually dispatched? Weird, but ok. They said they'd try to get it done within 48 hours but it could take 3-5 business days.

5 business days later, I contacted them again. I got a copy and paste response saying I'd get an email when my order shipped. I asked for a refund. I got another copy and paste response saying I'd get an email when my order shipped. I had to ask for a refund 3 times before someone agreed to give me a refund - except they still haven't refunded me. It's been over 4 weeks since my order, I ran out of these items and had to buy them elsewhere! I just want my money back. And I won't be shopping with them again - buy from someone else, the discounts aren't worth it.

Melbourne address on the website or if they could send me a reply paid postage so it would be correct. They only reply saying I have to pay and to provide them proof of payment.. no clarification of address. I asked again (actually I had to ask twice because they repeated that response, its like talking to AI honestly) and sent both a UK and Melb address and asked, very directly which one to use.. they replied saying I could use either but it's better to use the one on my account. WHAT does that even mean?! There is nothing on my account that stipulates where to send this to, other then my home address. It honestly feels like they are just trying to delay a return. It has been since the 16th of Dec that I first had to enquire about the missing address on the form and it's now the 3rd of Jan. I appreciate the holidays delaying responses but it shouldn't be this hard to return something or get a straight answer that doesn’t sound like a computer made it up.

Nope, the refund was never received and now that I’ve chased it up, RY has changed it to a store credit. I don’t really care about the money, but it is very apparent that this company is not going to put the refund through. I won’t be using them again, and would recommend other buyers avoid them as well. They are not good for their word and mislead customers. The only option was a refund and then to repurchase the product at full price. I originally purchased this on sale during Black Friday, so repurchasing meant I would have to pay full price + shipping costs, putting an originally $40 product at now $55. I took my refund because that was literally the only choice I had. I even asked if they could provide a discount to cover the additional $15, but they said no. Everyday for nearly three weeks I’ve been receiving email notifications that my order will be delivered and then later in the day “sorry your order has been delayed”. Costumer service is difficult to get in contact with and then I receive a generic, unhelpful response akin to “it will be followed uu with the warehouse” or “wait 72 hours”. I’m to the point where I just want a refund so I can purchase my now required products elsewhere however that doesn’t even seem possible. This has been a pricey, yet valuable lesson to investigate companies before making purchases and to support those fantastic companies that do care about making customer service a priority.
