I was hesitant to order my Garmin Forerunner 955 through Ryda after reading so many negative reviews, so I reached out to them via email to confirm stock and shipping time. They responded within 2 hours and I pulled the trigger. The watch arrived a week later (QLD to WA) as promised, shipped with care and no damage. I got what I paid for. What else do you want? – I was looking to upgrade my Sony A7-II to a Sony A7R-IIIA camera. I looked around and found five online sellers with good prices. Ryda was about $200 more than the cheapest but when I spoke to Ryda, they pointed out that Ryda was an authorised Sony seller and that I'd get a genuine, Sony Australia, 2-year warranty. imports' and only offered a one-year, very limited warranty. So I called Sony directly to confirm whether Ryda was an authorised Sony seller... and, yes, they are. Just as I was thinking about the price difference, Ryda dropped the price to below that of their competitors. I got what I paid for at a great price. It's a brand new, unused product with genuine Sony warranty. What else do you want? Oh yes, shipping was fast. Email, chat and telephone contact was excellent.

And by the way, my Sony A7-II was already a great camera. But the A7R-IIIA is amazing. It has a 2.35 megapixel LCD Screen, 42.4 Megapixels 35mm full-frame Exmor R™ CMOS sensor, ISO 100-32000 range, high-speed continuous shooting of up to 10fps with AF/AE tracking, 5-axis image stabilisation with 5.5-stop exposure advantage...bla bla. I've gone from a Kodak Instamatic in the 1970's to a Voigtlaender in the 80's, a Nikon FR-301 in the 90's and I've had a few digital cameras from Fuji and Nikon in the 2000's. The A7R-IIIA is by far the most capable camera ever. I am now satisfied.

SUPPORT. I try the chat function. "Our service staff are busy helping get orders out, we'll be in touch within 3-5 working days". ZERO CHAT SUPPORT Trying to resolve matters now via ebay and direct emails. All I asked for was a replacement wooden board. I think I had best go to the manufacturer directly. Days later, I am still wondering what is going on, unsure if I should pack the telescope up, or should wait and expect a replacement. 31/1/23 - They received parts from Skywatcher and will send them to me. Will update. 4/2/23 - Received replacement boards.

100% would buy again – Put an online order then realised delivery address was wrong. Order had to be cancelled and reordered again, new order was honoured with sale price and items all received perfectly. Cannot complain really, first time customer, would definitely purchase again.

No customer service – I contacted this company for an audio upgrade for a vehicle I own. I was informed by a staff member that he couldn’t help and would have someone call back promptly. No one ever called back . Obviously they have enough customers. I spent my $1200 elsewhere.

I think I've been scammed – I have to update this and say my order was sorted. It shouldn't have taken this review to get things moving but my parts turned up the day after they contacted me to fix the situation. order with these guys 30th June 2024 and via order confirmation email it stated they would process my order and send me a tracking number once posted. By July 4th I had not received a tracking number so sent their support team an email advising them. They replied back on the 5th and thanked me for my patience and advised they would process my order the next day, post and email a tracking number. Again there was no tracking number sent. It's now the 10th and I still have no product or tracking number or email advising any issue with my order. I am currently waiting a reply to my 3rd email in the where about if my purchase or even a tracking number. Contacting authorities and the bankcard provider will be my next course of action. Price is everything it seems.

Terrible service, avoid at all costs – I left a previous critical review of Ryda, and six months later nothing has changed. I saw that they were selling a telescope mount that I was looking for. I reached out via email with a very basic inquiry, regarding whether a particular telescope they sell could be removed from its mount. telescope, but little did I know that the telescope was, for some unfathomable reason, permanently attached. Without knowing this, my attempt to remove the scope resulted in minor damage to the scope which resulted in Ryda refusing a refund. I still contend that this was not communicated in advance and Ryda were negligent, but they continue to deny this.

In an attempt to avoid this happening a second time, I sent them an email. It firstly took 3 days to respond, and the response was filled with inaccurate information regarding the product. They claimed that the scope could be removed from the mount, but sent an explanation and photos showing only that the mount could be removed from the tripod it comes with. When I refuted their claims and asked whether they could provide more accurate information, they ghosted me. It has been a week without a reply or any further information from them.

I just ordered the same product from BINTEL for less money, and they posted it within a couple of hours of receiving the order.

My advice is stay well away from Ryda and save yourself the hassle. Use a reputable company for astronomical products instead, like Bintel or Testar. Even when it’s sometimes more expensive, it’s worth it to avoid the headache.

dismissive and unorganised. Several items that I was assured would be there were not, I made no fuss, get home and get half way through the assembly and the wrong scope is in the box. I call stating I was extremely upset about it, and no sense of urgency was shown. Even worse all they cared about was my then quite upset state, and not what caused it. When trying to explain the disabilities discrimination act I just get spoken over and "whatever". In the background I hear the manager slandering and mocking me to his staff. When confronted he just dismissed anything I said saying he doesn't believe it and kept hanging up trying to force me to comply with something I'm unable to. I cannot believe the attitude and arrogance of this place. [Name Removed] was who I dealt with.

Paid almost $1300 for a Garmin Fenix 7X Sapphire Solar Carbon Grey w/ Index S2 Black Scale. Paid extra for express shipping and insurance. 3 weeks later, the S2 Scale arrives in a cheap airbag (non-padded, loose) - no Watch included. Reached out via the support email, no response in 7 days, even that the enquiry had been received. Phoned the Sydney number and was told that the email support was the only option to seek answers as to where my watch is. I'm hoping this review may pique their attention as they seem to be very careful to sound helpful in the online review forums. I have a suspicion that many of the 5 star google reviews are non-genuine, given the nature of the other dominant review score - 1 star. At this stage, I suspect I'll need to report the transaction as fraudulent to my bank in order to get a proactive response.

Worst customer service ever!!! – I would recommend buying from anywhere other than here, terrible service, and zero care factor for their customers. They may seem cheap, and when a sale runs smoothly, they are probably ok. As soon as there’s an issue, they do not care one iota, despite being at fault.

Friday afternoon for a Sony camera, made the purchase straight away as it was being advertised as part of their winter sale. Come Monday morning, get an email saying it's a pricing error, they are cancelling the order. Was very excited for this purchase all weekend, bought lenses ready to start using the camera asap, just to be VERY disappointed. Emailed them to ask to honour the pricing and management declined.

Got my package the next day! – I ordered a Sony zv e10. Finding the product was extremely easy, and it was already discounted. I went on ahead with the purchase on the 17/3, around 3 hours later the package was sent from Sydney. Next day it arrived in adelaide, and I got it delivered around 1pm. Excellent Australian on line company – Purchased Oregon Rain gauge. The site has a huge product range. Audio electronic gps , the range extensive. Checked the website around 20 Jan, item back in stock. Account said the order was in "Processing" so waited a few days hoping to get an update that it has been shipped. When nothing happened, checked the website to find out that the item was on Australia Day sale and sold out again! The account still showing the order as "Processing". No communication from the store.
