I will not recommend – I had no choice but to use this when I had my c section, and didn't have milk yet, I continued to use it for 2 weeks because my breast milk was not enough.. Causes constipation – I started using Alula Gold as was the formula they gave in the hospital. First few months I didn’t notice anything as it was given just as top up for my breast milk. Once my supply decreased, I started to give my baby bigger amounts and he started to be constantly constipated. to throw it up and had painful Gas. I called the number on the "new tin" and found out there was a change in formula. They said that the change was "so minuscule" that they didn't need to advertise that on the tin. I am livid that you thought it was okay to leave this information off! If i was aware i would have slowly transitioned her to the new Tin. Now i have a baby that wont keep her milk down. I went hunting to find the old tin to transition her back! again this is a process that she has to go through to no fault of her own. So Disappointed! Now i have to pray that i can find the old ones in the supermarkets. I will be transitioning to another brand in the coming months!

Trusted brand of formula – My son has just turned one, and we have been using S26 Gold since he was born (due to lots of issues with breastfeeding). It's easy to prepare (60ml cooled boiled water per scoop of formula) and the tin has a built-in metal 'lip' allowing you to quickly level-off each scoop rather than having to find and use a knife every time (handy for those middle of the night feeds!!!). If you're out and about, an easy option is to carry bottles of boiled water and just mix-in the formula (carry it in a formula dispenser) when you need to feed bub (my son has always been happy to drink formula warmed or at room temperature if we are out-and-about). If we have bub #2 and similar breastfeeding issues arise I wouldn't hesitate using S26 Gold again. As with anything baby-related, talk to your doctor or health nurse to determine the best option for your little one.

platinum) thinking that the expensive one's might do a better job or give him more benefits. But after about 2 weeks of trial, it was no good. Well to be honest, he was constipated and didn't poo as much as he used to with S26 gold easy digest. I think when it comes to a baby formular, price or brand has nothing to do with the baby. At the end of the day it all comes to whether the baby is pooing and digesting Ok with a particular brand. These days most companies do have the technology and resources to make better and similar products and I would just stick to the ones that your baby is fine with. It could vary from a company to company with slightly different ingredients but I wouldn't worry too much about which one has more nutrients and not. I would highly recommend the S26 gold easy digest to anyone because we had no issue and also you can find one easily at just about any shop, chemist and supermarkets with great price tag.

Can’t find it anywhere – I have a 16 weeks old son and we used to give him s26 gold, it’s been a couple of weeks that I can’t find it anywhere!! Is there anybody who knows what’s going on? Is it discontinued or will be back ?

The perfect formula for our baby – My baby loves this formula, it sat well in his tummy from the first time we tried it, no issues at all. High quality formula – I used this formula in the first few days in the hospital, when my baby was always crying and I didn’t have enough milk. I was reluctant using the formula, but a very experienced nurse said it’s fine and I can still breastfeed after. medical assistance to manually extract his faeces and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had to put my little one through. We switched formula cold turkey to Nan comfort and you could instantly tell that my baby was a whole new person - happiest I’ve ever seen him be in a long time.. and same goes for me.

Not recommended – This formula is not good don't use it. My son was so gasy the whole time he had it constipated and crying at night but we did not know the reason that time . I accidentally swapped formula when went to india to nestle nan he got better. I dont onow why hospitals recommend this formula to new parents. Now i have. even after finishing the full box still i feel he hates the taste and has constipation and passing green coloured stool every 3rd day and has lost his appetite looking unhappy and weak. Someone from s-26 team called me and guided me a lot that I appreciate but I stopped S-26 gold and with in a week of leaving this formula my baby is back on right track, looking happy, in a good health and fresh no gas and no constipation. Regularly passing stool(green color has changed to yellow) and sleeping so well.

New recipe really bad on my newborn – I used the old recipe for my elder son back 4 years that suit him but the new recipe is really really bad on my newborn baby. Recommended by my midwife – This was recommended by my midwife, HOWEVER… my baby refused to drink it. We purchased a whole can but sadly the whole can went to waste. I’ve never seen him so mad before!!! He just cried and cried. As soon as I gave him breast milk he was happy again. I can’t say I’ll be using it again if my baby doesn’t like it.

New formula makes baby VOMIT – This is more than a ‘baby’ thing as the reps below are trying to pass it off as. My 7 month old has never been a big vomiter but since using the new formula (gold tin) as opposed to the old one he vomits after every bottle. If this is your baby it’s the formula, not the baby. This has happened to almost every mother who has been using the new gold formula (change in formula not just the tin). Avoid and try your luck with another brand

Softer bowel actions after using new label s26 newborn Alula formula – My 9mo has had softer bowel actions after recently using the new label s26 gold Alula formula, whereas she tended more to constipation with the older label Alula formula tins. that it was harder to mix. There is quite often lumps in the bottom of the bottle with the new tin formula. Have swapped to s26 original due to spewing and same problem. Persevered for weeks and didn’t get any better. Found a tin of the old s26 gold and spewing stopped immediately. Will be transitioning to another brand after this tin runs out. Very annoyed that formula has been changed without notification. Would have saved us a lot of guessing as to why they were vomiting all of a sudden.

It’s crazy to think the company didn’t think mums would recognise it changed considering we are feeding our babies up to 6+ times a day and spend every waking minute ensuring their happiness & health. You’ve now compromised my babies health by being irresponsible enough to not notify mothers of the change. Shame on you.

spewy with my breastmilk, although Ive been careful, probably was something I was eating he didnt agree with. He is full and satisfied after 180mls at 6mths, very different to the grizzles when Im feeding him. No constipation, no spewing, no overweight problems, happy healthy baby... can't complain! My mum said this product was around and popular when she was having kids, so I guess that says something as well!

The product needs to be reviewed – I have been using the formula since the hospital gave my little one when he was born. At begining i thought green poo is normal but my bub is 2 months 2 weeks he still have green poo that means he is not getting enough nutrients from formula. He does poo once 2-4 days. There is alot of review of this formula regarding constipation and green poo. Please review this product and find out the cause.
