This brand has woeful customer service - they never have suit bags to provide when you purchase one and make you come back again & again with your proof of purchase to get one. Then the handle broke when I finally did get one, and when I offered to pay for the replacement, the useless store clerk told me they only give them with suit purchases. … Read more

I wonder if anyone receives customer service at this mid-tier Australian brand full of synthetic fabrics & overseas manufacturing.

I received this shirt as a birthday gift from my mother over a year ago. It has been worn and washed only twice. The fabric quality is extremely poor. Saba's clothing appears to have declined significantly in quality recently. The material is very weak, and two unusual tear marks have appeared despite minimal use. I have never experienced… Read more
anything like this with a new business shirt or dress shirt before. I contacted Saba customer service for assistance, but their response was disappointing. They offered only a $20 credit for use on the Saba website, valid for just one month. I found this completely inadequate.
They also stated that because the shirt was purchased at David Jones in Hornsby, they are unable to help me further. Unfortunately, we no longer have the receipt as it was bought over a year ago. However, it is immediately obvious that the shirt is genuine, authentic Saba stock and was brand new when received. All I wanted was a replacement white business shirt, but Saba would rather ruin their brand loyalty.
I'll be avoiding Saba going forward. And I have bought many items from them recently (I have included receipts in my review of a recent purchase to show I have been a regular customer.)

Poor service and broken promise on refund! I received a skirt from SABA with the magnetic security tag still attached :-(. Customer service acknowledged the fault and agreed to waive the return fee. After waiting two weeks, I received the refund - but the return fee was still deducted, despite being told it would not be. This was frustrating… Read more

Very poor customer service. I have been given the runaround since March. I'm not sure how you expect anyone to have a receipt for a garment that was purchased months ago which later proved to be faulty. I clearly explained my position from the outset, that I had no receipt. Linen pants have completely fallen apart in the inner tight area only… Read more
worn 1/2 dozen times. As the manufacturer of faulty goods, you have failed to provide the customer service that is expected. Sending me back to the retailer is clearly washing your hands of your responsibilities. Not Good Enough, but judging by the reviews this is just your standard. I won't be purchasing the SABA brand again. Very disappointing!

SABA used to be a high-quality brand I genuinely loved-especially pre-COVID, but it’s clear they’ve pivoted to fast fashion at the expense of quality. The Travel suit I bought in 2019 is in 5x better condition than the exact same suit I purchased just in 2024 from the QVB store in Sydney. It’s not like it’s old now but it was always bad quality.… Read more
It’s just that I only decided to speak up about it now. The drop in quality is obvious- you can feel it in the fabric, the weight, the finish. And yet, the price has doubled. Why would SABA do this? They’ve completely ruined what made them great.

Poor quality – Purchased the Karla Trench Coat one year ago (2023)at Saba David Jones Adelaide, only wore it TWICE, once last year and once this year (2024) Stored it in the wardrobe, and as I was reaching for it yesterday, I noticed that the stitching around the shoulder area had completely come loose.. For a Trench coat priced at $600, produced by them and from such a renowned brand, it's disappointing to hear that there's no solution.. Disappointing service. Prioritizing the customer doesn't seem to be their focus.
This isn't a result of normal wear and tear. It’s a defective item sold to me at a premium...
I could have repaired it myself instead of going through the hassle of returning it to David Jones, incurring petrol and parking costs, only to be told it would be fixed externally..
My encounter with this brand has been negative, with subpar customer service and product quality..

Follow-up · After eventually being contacted by Saba, they agreed to accept the return of items and sent me a return label. I took the items to Australia Post, but they advised the return label was invalid and couldn’t be used. I contacted SABA again, but 5 days later there has been no response. To the lovely lady manager working 10/11/23..thank you for your great customer service – Thank you so much to manager working 10/11/23 for exchanging bathers which were too small and unworn even when without tags and receipt.. Great Product – I purchased a Saba electric shaver, have had it for 3 months now, cost $40.00, I have previously purchased top of the line brands for 3 times the price. The Saba is by far the best one I have owned, leaves the other brands behind. the Saba shaves closer, quicker and more comfortable to use. I would recommend to anyone. Show details
Beautiful clothes, great service – I love Saba clothes. They are beautiful, great quality and really flattering. They are not cheap, but the clothes are worth the price. Staff always friendly and helpful. Online orders arrive promptly. Highly recommended. Show details · 1

Several weeks of back and forth for item that was defected (noticed defect in fabric at first wearing) - Approx 12 emails later they finally sent a return to sender slip, have sent back the garment 10 days ago and have no correspondence with Saba to rectify situation. passed without resolution. Next stop - Fair trading/consumer affairs. Have been a long time customer of SABA. Disgusted to say the least.
Ordered a man’s suit on sale online. Suit arrived - suit jacket was cream and pants were white. Didn’t match at all. Emailed Saba was told due to not being sent the correct items that I would receive a refund. However they haven’t refunded the correct amount and only a small portion. Waited 20 plus days for a refund! Additionally they do not… Read more

I’ve always thought the instore customer service has been great. However I’m really over the skinny size 4-6 models used to market your clothes. As a size 10 it’s impossible to visualise your clothes on an average size women’s body. Show details

Good luck getting a refund – The quality of their clothing is poor especially for their price. I returned the item I purchased more than 20 days ago, and I still have not received a refund. I paid with Paypal and so refunds must be very quick (as opposed to a credit card refund) but nope, no refund!

Returns for Exchange Should be Simple – Having been a faithful Saba Customer for just on 30 yrs I expected some good Customer Help when I received a Garment which was described as a Loose Fit but was clearly wrongly sized by measurement as per their Size Chart. larger in width and I obviously need to Exchange it for a Size down. Trying to Return for Exchange was so problematic as Saba wanted me to got to a Store to do this but because there were only 2 garments left in the size I needed I had to purchase again Online. I had made my original purchase when their Sale was on plus I had a Birthday Voucher. Customer Help offered a Replacement Voucher and then reneged. I ended up Paying over $50 more because Saba wouldn't do a simple Exchange. Their Return Policy specifies the Customer must Pay Return Postage but when I printed out the Label it was Free. They say they will Refund the amount of the Birthday Gift Voucher when they receive the item back but I will still be out of pocket by approx $27. How difficult would a Return/Exchange actually have been ? Saba have only a few Stores around Melbourne and since Return Postage is Free can't they get their act together and simplify the process to assist the Disabled Customer who finds returning to a Store impossible.
Incidentally I also purchased a Saba Linen T-Shirt also a loose Fit in a Size S and the fit is perfect !
Bad form Saba – So dissapointed in their Customer service as they don't exchange garments on sale. Even with a fault on the garment they wouldnt exchange it. They have every excuse not to except an exchange and simply dont care about their customers. I will never buy anything from Saba again. Bad form Saba.. Show details
Poor quality and sizing fluctuates significantly depending on product – Sizing of suits is extremely inconsistent with jackets being many sizes different from petite to plus sized with no explanations. Fabric and cut is appalling. Will never buy SABA again – Bought the Asha jacket, vest and trousers for $1200. Loved the look of it but it only looks good if you stand and don’t move. If you sit, the creasing of the pants is shocking. (The suit was perfect pressed when I left for work.) I was embarrassed having to attend meetings looking like this. when standing gaped widely at the front. I was so fortunate that I was wearing a flesh cami. Even so I had to pin it closed. Went to a tailor at lunchtime for a possible quick fix. The problem was according to the men’s bespoke tailor that the combination of design features didn’t work together. From the length of cross front drape to the number of buttons, he said he could improve it but it would never be a great jacket because the basic design was faulty. I’ll spend on clothes and not complain but I resent it when SABA charges so much for a 3 piece that is poorly designed and uses cheap and nasty fabric.

refund. Nothing! I contacted Saba and was advised that they were "so sorry but we have not received your return". "Do you have the tracking number?" - well no... but I was advised by the Aust Post staff that it would have been on the return label that WAS PROVIDED BY SABA!! So why are they asking me for the number when they generate it! And of course I am told that because I cannot provide the tracking number they can't check whether they have received the goods and as such will not issue me a refund. I think this is a load of baloney. Firstly they should be able to find the tracking number issued to me in the return label generated by their own system, and Secondly they should also know the exact product barcode number of the goods issued and delivered to me originally and therefore be able to see if the same items have been returned to stock.
Do you know what I think?? I think the whole thing is a badly disguised scam to rob innocent people of their hard earned funds. So now they have both my money and their goods - which no doubt they have promptly resold to some other poor sucker!
Don't buy from them - i certainly won't ever buy from them again.

Very poor quality & no product support from SABA – Purchased these $300 pants for work. The 2nd time I wore them one hem completely fell down (not because I caught it on my heel as I was wearing flats) so I had to pay to have it repaired at which time I discovered the 2nd hem had started to fall down too. Then there's the creasing - wow do these pants crease. As business pants, you'd expect the… Read more
fabric to look nice, not like you'd never ironed them. The final straw, and this is even before I've washed them (who knows what extra issues might come) was the pilling over the hips & between the thighs. Bearing in mind, I'm slim (Size 8) & these are wide leg, loose fit & I've worn them about 10 times. However, SABA wont take responsibility for the product fault, told me to "go into The Iconic", the 'online only' store to have them assessed. The Iconic were helpful, I just don't understand why SABA wont support their own product when it's faulty.
Terrible service – Lost my return at their warehouse (used their shipping label and it’s documented that they received it) and some clown there offers me a credit note from ‘goodwill’ instead of a refund. Again, it was logged on their system as having been received.
I won't be buying any more – The tops from Saba I recently purchased have really poor quality thread in the construction. I have to keep sewing up the loose threads hanging from sleeve and hem. I just get one repair done and another appears. The thread is disintegrating as I try to thread it through the needle!
Unacceptable Quality and Service – I ordered a pair of pants which I owned for only 5 weeks until the front button came off as well as shrinking of the pants. According to their product team, the product is not faulty, despite having 2 obvious faults,… Read more

not available. Hopeless customer service. Will probably need to do a charge back through my credit card to get reimbursed zero interest from Saba. Will never order from them ever again.
Woeful experience and a total wipeout – Ordered online, plenty of stock paid via PayPal 15 mins later order can't be filled refund coming thru PayPal. Order this product again but in a different size. Same response. Cant be processed refund coming via P.Pal. Their online store has no idea about stock levels. Says plenty in stock but this is totally inaccurate. Really not good enough.
Return of good bought online – Shop assistant was clearly put out by the time it took to return the two dresses I had purchased online, and made it clear it had taken her ‘ages’ to go through it all. I have returned items to other stores where I have been met with a smile and polite understanding that it is sometimes difficult to get sizing right online. Will not shop Saba… Read more

Nice tees, abhorrent service – David Jones castle hill. My first experience buying with Saba and will be my last. staff who aren’t so up themselves they find it annoying to serve customers, you’ve made it easy to shop elsewhere. I see from other reviews I am not alone. Won’t bother and won’t recommend to any friends of family or colleagues. Bit of advice - if you have customers waiting to spend money - serve them. Don’t stand around with a foul look on your face avoiding eye contact and folding the same shirt over and over . We are the ones with money , you’re there to provide a good service
