This brand has woeful customer service - they never have suit bags to provide when you purchase one and make you come back again & again with your proof of purchase to get one. Then the handle broke when I finally did get one, and when I offered to pay for the replacement, the useless store clerk told me they only give them with suit purchases. … Read more

I wonder if anyone receives customer service at this mid-tier Australian brand full of synthetic fabrics & overseas manufacturing.

I received this shirt as a birthday gift from my mother over a year ago. It has been worn and washed only twice. The fabric quality is extremely poor. Saba's clothing appears to have declined significantly in quality recently. The material is very weak, and two unusual tear marks have appeared despite minimal use. I have never experienced… Read more
anything like this with a new business shirt or dress shirt before. I contacted Saba customer service for assistance, but their response was disappointing. They offered only a $20 credit for use on the Saba website, valid for just one month. I found this completely inadequate.
They also stated that because the shirt was purchased at David Jones in Hornsby, they are unable to help me further. Unfortunately, we no longer have the receipt as it was bought over a year ago. However, it is immediately obvious that the shirt is genuine, authentic Saba stock and was brand new when received. All I wanted was a replacement white business shirt, but Saba would rather ruin their brand loyalty.
I'll be avoiding Saba going forward. And I have bought many items from them recently (I have included receipts in my review of a recent purchase to show I have been a regular customer.)

Very poor customer service. I have been given the runaround since March. I'm not sure how you expect anyone to have a receipt for a garment that was purchased months ago which later proved to be faulty. I clearly explained my position from the outset, that I had no receipt. Linen pants have completely fallen apart in the inner tight area only… Read more
worn 1/2 dozen times. As the manufacturer of faulty goods, you have failed to provide the customer service that is expected. Sending me back to the retailer is clearly washing your hands of your responsibilities. Not Good Enough, but judging by the reviews this is just your standard. I won't be purchasing the SABA brand again. Very disappointing!

SABA used to be a high-quality brand I genuinely loved-especially pre-COVID, but it’s clear they’ve pivoted to fast fashion at the expense of quality. The Travel suit I bought in 2019 is in 5x better condition than the exact same suit I purchased just in 2024 from the QVB store in Sydney. It’s not like it’s old now but it was always bad quality.… Read more
It’s just that I only decided to speak up about it now. The drop in quality is obvious- you can feel it in the fabric, the weight, the finish. And yet, the price has doubled. Why would SABA do this? They’ve completely ruined what made them great.
Thank you for your review, although we are sorry to hear… Read more
Fabric and cut is appalling. Will never buy SABA again – Bought the Asha jacket, vest and trousers for $1200. Loved the look of it but it only looks good if you stand and don’t move. If you sit, the creasing of the pants is shocking. (The suit was perfect pressed when I left for work.) I was embarrassed having to attend meetings looking like this. As soon as I sat down, the jacket that fitted quite well… Read more
when standing gaped widely at the front. I was so fortunate that I was wearing a flesh cami. Even so I had to pin it closed. Went to a tailor at lunchtime for a possible quick fix. The problem was according to the men’s bespoke tailor that the combination of design features didn’t work together. From the length of cross front drape to the number of buttons, he said he could improve it but it would never be a great jacket because the basic design was faulty. I’ll spend on clothes and not complain but I resent it when SABA charges so much for a 3 piece that is poorly designed and uses cheap and nasty fabric.

Holes in my T-shirt after few washes, colour faded after one – I bought few t short form SABA … not cheap … with in two months there were holes in the T-shirt and colour faded. Horrible quality. I won’t be buying there…. Very bad quality … I had tshirts from country road which lasted me seven years… same color and no tear… Show details

Great Product – I purchased a Saba electric shaver, have had it for 3 months now, cost $40.00, I have previously purchased top of the line brands for 3 times the price. The Saba is by far the best one I have owned, leaves the other brands behind. the Saba shaves closer, quicker and more comfortable to use. I would recommend to anyone. Show details
Beautiful clothes, great service – I love Saba clothes. They are beautiful, great quality and really flattering. They are not cheap, but the clothes are worth the price. Staff always friendly and helpful. Online orders arrive promptly. Highly recommended. Show details · 1

Return of good bought online – Shop assistant was clearly put out by the time it took to return the two dresses I had purchased online, and made it clear it had taken her ‘ages’ to go through it all. I have returned items to other stores where I have been met with a smile and polite understanding that it is sometimes difficult to get sizing right online. Will not shop Saba… Read more
again as this is not the first time I have experienced staff that are like this, even though I like the clothes. Just be nice.
Nice tees, abhorrent service – David Jones castle hill. My first experience buying with Saba and will be my last. The tees I bought were nice but I would expect that for 100 for a plain white and black tee. The staff member was just so rude and hateful towards customers I wouldn’t bother returning. There’s a plethora of other places to shop for basics and when you can’t hire… Read more
staff who aren’t so up themselves they find it annoying to serve customers, you’ve made it easy to shop elsewhere. I see from other reviews I am not alone. Won’t bother and won’t recommend to any friends of family or colleagues. Bit of advice - if you have customers waiting to spend money - serve them. Don’t stand around with a foul look on your face avoiding eye contact and folding the same shirt over and over . We are the ones with money , you’re there to provide a good service
Once an icon – The styles work and the quality is woeful. The clothing shrinks, poorly stitched and barely wearable after a few wears. Show details

Terrible experience David Jones Chatswood Chase Saba – I shopped at David Jones Chatswood Chase Wednesday 30th March. The Saba staff member was extremely unprofessional and rude and I will not be going back there. She yelled at other staff who were not Saba because they wouldn’t help me. It was her job!!!! She was busy on her phone and when she did decide to help me she complained and was just plain rude!!!! Show details

Poor quality for the price – I've purchased quite a few items from Saba over the years. Some items are reasonable, but the vast majority are pretty poor quality - I expect better, considering the price is quite high. I've purchased online and been so disappointed that I've returned all items purchased. I still browse, but often can't be bothered purchasing as I know the chance of needing time/effort to return it is so high. Show details

Color transfer from lining of Jacket – The dye from the inside lining of the Saba jacket I purchased has discoloured my light covered long sleeve Perri Cuttin top. I can no longer wear this jacket over any garment that is not black. Show details
Terrible – I purchased the Celeste wool skirt. The lining hangs from underneath the hem and according to Saba and the abusive staff member at the Sth Yarra store that is the design. What a waste of $179 for a sloppy looking item I will need to alter, for a little more there are far better quality brands. Like the other reviews, I have shopped at Saba for… Read more

Sorry Saba but you’ve lost me as a loyal customer – Saba used to do quality women’s suiting that was well cut and good quality fabrics Including silk shirts for work. Recently I did actually see a beautiful shirt in Saba (finally I thought!!) at $229 for 100% polyester..you’re kidding right!! Polyester is a disgusting, cheaply produced fabric made from coal, oil and water. I also purchased the TIA… Read more
pants 6 months ago (a style I’ve purchased twice before) and they now look 5 years old and the fabric is all baggy after wearing just once each time. The styles and fabrics (a lot of the prints are down right ugly) have sadly gone down hill over the years. It’s a shame Saba has not realised there is an enormous gap in the market as professional women especially over 40 struggle to find quality clothes and we have $$’s to spend. I took mine to the city and spent them at Hugo Boss womens department - quality fabrics, beautifully cut clothes, classic designs (not fast fashion) that lasts. And the prices are virtually the same.

Terrible quality – I brought a pair of Tia suit pants from Saba for $229. After 4 wears the button had nearly fallen off and the leg of the pants came unhemmed. Really disappointed Show details

Good brand gone sour – In the past year I have brought to Saba’s attention quality issues with their men’s shirts. First two times they admitted the fault and third time labelled it as wear and tear? The sad thing is they once upon a time rewarded me for my loyalty by sending me flowers on my birthday. After my strong interest to raise the product issues with good… Read more
intent to saviour their brand I was treated very unprofessionally. So bad that they make me travel a long distance on a set time and day to have an instore assessment done and the store manager wasn’t even present on the day. The worst was the last visit where I sent my partner to the Miranda store and he was given complete run around and kept around for 3 hours and by end of it we had to squeeze credit note out of them. Even wasted hours of my time to deal with people from Saba on the ph. Amazing thing is they claim they are treating you with loyalty and respect. The ill mannered person who served my partner in miranda had the nerve to say I do a lot of returns without paying attention to how much more I purchased on top! Well it’s no wonder they have 70% off reductions cause you can get better quality at lowes. It’s also no wonder I return due to the fabric not being long wearing for shirts that retail in Saba for $150. If you consider buying wait until end of season and major reductions that way you can afford lose so much on something that won’t last you very long. There are a number of factors on which quality fitness of garment is based such as performance, reliability, durability, visual and perceived quality of the garment. Quality needs to be defined in terms of a particular framework of cost. For the price Saba are charging it should last more than 5 wears. Irregular hemming and inappropriate trimming is considered a garment defect.
Terrible Working experience – I was employed to SABA QVB store as a PPT under false pretences but it turned out I was a casual . Never bothered to train me , never bothered review me. They made me do roles outside that which I applied for. They treated me very unprofessionally and unfairly so I would highly recommend not to apply to this store . They did not sympathise with my mental well-being and hearing impairment. Show details
