Easy to clean and using ! – I actually bought this machine as second hand one from a lady who maintained it very well past 11 yrs . She told me she got someone to service it regularly so now I have been using it very happily. Its easy to use and also many other options you can set up beans finesse and temperature and coffee sizes . It has cafe quality coffee I can say and I… Read more · 1
use super fresh beans for that. So far I am very happy to use this machine every day also easy to clean the parts as well !
Average Coffee & Service – Must say if I compare this to a $40 Woolies pod machine I'm asking myself… "Where's the CREMA???? from my Saeco" The Caffitaly pumps out some GREAT oils/crema and tasty brews from various brands of pods. I have looked after the unit very well. Replaced rings when needed. Couple of weeks ago the brewunit started clicking savagely on the first… Read more

Googled the symptoms but can't find anything.
Took some video of it happening and sent it off to a coffee mob in the USA "Whole Latte Love" (from viewing their youtube FYI's) as well as saecoparts@segafredo.com.au here in OZ.
I got a reply from the USA next day.
Australian saecoparts pffft still bloody waiting and that's after sending a follow up email.
Pathetic service from the Aussie mob.
USA guys said it's most likely motor on it's way out.
The wife was the one who had coffee from the Saeco (I only have pods now from my woolies unit!)
so she now has to convert until I know what it's going to take to get the Incanto fixed.
That's if SAECO can be bothered to reply!
Saeco Incanto S class de luxe 16yo & still brilliant! – We bought our Saeco Incanto de luxe in 2007, it's still going well, now in 2023, but has a service every couple of yrs. We travel to the service man we trust in Melb, he's honest & brilliant (but hard to understand his accent): Tai Huynh, Sunshine Coffee Machine Service Ph 0434196611 Melb. (Highly recommended) When our machine finally gives up the… Read more
ghost, we'll buy another the same, knowing it will have to be 2nd hand. We know to clean it EVERY night (takes about 2 mins max.). It's made over 10,000 coffees. We don't use the steam wand anymore b/c it's too slow when friends are here. Easier & quicker to use a Breville milk frother. The other tip I'd give is to always turn it off when not making coffee, it only takes couple mins to warm up & you don't need to pay more for electricity when it's not being used.

5600 pours and still going strong – I write this as an example of the product's quality and performance knowing you probably cant buy this actual model but to use it to gauge the brands quality, performance etc. When first purchased it began to leak, it was returned to the Saeco authorised repairer who completely missed the issue of shrunk O rings and it had to be returned again,… Read more
this time at their cost. Apparently they test every unit at the factory so when the O ring's dry out this is the result ?
Later in it's life it began to develop an issue with the grinder (worn out) and I took it to a new repairer, I believe this was about when Philips took over ? Anyway one issue I had experienced since purchase was the sloppy puks in the dredge drawer, the new company advised that these machines were set up for the German market who don't like a bitter coffee and after their adjustments it provided the true puk and a much nicer brew.
I can only go by experience but so far apart from some minor issues it has been a reliable machine, my reason for purchasing a Saeco was that we had these at my work and upon checking the coffee's it had made it showed over 12 thousand, I had been there long enough to know they only required regular cleaning in that time.
Note if you clean out the dredge drawer before it asks you to it will still ask again when it is almost empty, this is because it doesn't actually know when it's full and works on a pre programmed amount of actual coffee's made. Don't worry about buying the Saeco water filters either, just fill it from a filter jug and enjoy many years of trouble free coffee making.
Perform some basic cleaning and maintenance and like me you should have many years of pleasant coffee making, enjoy ! style, performance, reliability nothing
Nice coffee but no end of trouble – If you are considering buying one of these, just be aware that you will have it being repaired time and again. Personally I regret buying what I thought to be a good machine. It has been cleaned regularly and I have followed everything from the instruction manual. It was back to the service centre after about six months because it was leaking… Read more
water. They had it for about a week and when I collected it they told me they had replaced a faulty o-ring. One wonders why it took so long to replace the o-ring, a five minute job. May be they have more than a few being repaired? Low and behold, just out of warranty, it started leaking again, so I purchased another o-ring and it temporarily fixed the leak. Now it's decided to start leaking again. In contrast, I purchased a $275 manual type Sunbeam many years before upgrading to a 'better unit', and gave it to my mother some three years ago. She uses it daily and it has never missed a beat. So in closing, my recommendation is to stay away from Saeco unless you are happy with getting to know your way to the service centre blindfolded. Reasonable coffee Totally unreliable machine.
It helps if you know how to repair it yourself – Sold my cafe and needed to fuel my addiction to coffee without having a nice commercial machine at hand. The service guy for my cafe machine recommended this one for home. 5 years and 7,000 coffees later it is still making the best tasting cup around. We use Republica beans and actually drive past cafe's to have one at home! We have replaced the… Read more
plastic valve - a design fault repaired under warranty on recall - and the steam kettle as ours developed a pinprick hole in it leaking steam inside the unit. My hubby is pretty handy and the warranty is expired so we just paid for the part. The grinder is still going strong. Yes, the dregs detector says it is full if a little dregs gets caught on the brew unit spring but it's a quick job to whip it out, wipe it and put it back. The sealed back unit makes the rest very easy to keep clean. I love that we can programme it to start up 2 mins before the alarm goes off so it is hot and ready to make the first cup of the day. We also steam our milk directly in our mugs and bypass the whole steel jug cleaning job, lol. Totally reliable. Programme it to start up before we get out of bed. Very simple to use - even MIL can make a drinkable coffee. Enormously variable steam control means steaming milk in a mug rather than a whole jug full is easy. Terrific onboard grinder means less mess. After warranty you can repair it yourself with just a little knowhow and common sense. Hmmmmm, nothing at all. I wouldn't bother to deal with the local service agent though - he's a bit precious and is never wrong, even when he is patently wrong.

Great Coffee Machine – I have had my Sirius since around 2006 and it is still producing great coffee!. It is used each morning and apart from one breakdown in the first 12 months it has not had any issues since. Sadly I don't read many positive reviews on new coffee machines so hoping this one lasts another few years :) Show reply
I love it! – I love my Saeco Incanto de luxe which we've had almost 9yrs. It took time to learn about it's maintenance. I had a few problems initially with cleaning when we didn't know how to use it properly. The 1st repairer gave us bad advice. Now I've learnt how to properly maintain it (from the good repairer) it's brilliant. Very easy to use & clean, makes… Read more · 1
great coffee with the right beans. You do have to clean it regularly, we aim to do it every 2nd night.
Perfect – The meter says 16997 pours. just sent it in to have check up and replace anything worn. Have never had a problem with it. Own 4 Espresso Machines. This one just keeps on putting out the coffee. Coffe/crema perfect. Use it daily. Looking for another for 2nd home. good luck Show reply

Saeco Incanto Sirius - decent machine – Reading through all of the reviews I must say I tend to agree with the honest feedback. I own two of these machines, one at home and the other at my office. Both steaming units, in both machines failed pretty quickly Also had a little leak in one of the machines after five years. They do require some tender loving care to keep them in top shape..… Read more
That being said all-in-all we've brewed about 6000 cups in the one machine and 4000 in the other. Not too bad at all for non commercial machines. Both machines are in need of repair now, and my issue is finding a decent repair shop that knows what they're doing. The most recent repairs dont seem to last very long which tells me they're most likely using bandaid fixes. In my experience I would have to give them 3.5 out 5.
Absolute lemon – Makes great coffee when it works but so poorly made that it breaks down monthly.. Absolute garbage in terms of workmanship. Least robust machine on the market by a long long way. Such a pity as it really does make excellent coffee when it isn't falling to pieces . Not happy Show details

Not worth the money – I have an Saeco Intcano, paid over $1000 for it. Makes great coffee but always something going wrong with it. Two rubber rings replaced cost me $115.00, ridiculous, and the worse part about it all, the shop where I took it was absolutely stacked to the roof with the same machine and other models all requiring repairs. I am selling mine, have no… Read more
wish to pay for every little thing that goes wrong with it, obviously they are prone to breaking down.
My ex husband always said....... never buy anything that has a lot of moving parts, you will only have one thing after another going wrong with it. Hmmm guess I should have held on to him...lol Makes great coffee Leaks water, tells you coffee full to empty when it has nothing in in, makes a noise, the list goes on.

Brilliant! – Purchased in 2006 and still going strong. This coffee machine has had a few repairs and services in its time, but has faithfully made over 10,000 coffees almost every morning for nearly ten years. The machine is great, the brand trusty, and the conversion from espresso pot to automatic machine, complete. Show reply

Oh no, not again! – For the fifth time, the grinder has packed it in! I'm over this SAECO Incanto big time. It makes good coffee but is unreliable. I live up in the country, so it is a pain having to bring it to Melbourne to have it repaired. Does anyone want a boat anchor?

Purchased second hand! – I purchased ours off ebay 2 months ago. If you are prepared to fix it yourself where possible, these are fantastic. The computer states over 5000 coffees - our 9 year old makes our coffee most times - it's awesome!. Ease & convenience - my 9 year old son can use it! High maintenance - but worth it if you can do it yourself.
does not last long – Good in the beginning, the steamer is not good, it gives a lot of hot water with the steam, as a result you cannot froth milk properly. coffee with great creama, that is far more consistent than many cafes. Also pretty good for steaming milk to make hot chocolates for our daughter. reliable, easy to use, makes beautiful quality coffees. can be a bit noisy when grinding beans
I give up – I've had this machine for about 5 years now. It does make great coffee, that's true, but it's been in for service probably 6-8 times over the 5 years. I wouldn't mind if it was a just a regular scheduled service, but each time it has actually broken down in one way or another. The milk frother didn't work after about the first two years and has… Read more
never been repaired correctly. It constantly leaks if you try to use it. I think I have spent enough money on this machine. I will not pay any more to have it repaired and I would never recommend it.

Terrible – Descent blend of coffee beens are usually a bit oily and this beast cannot handle them at all. Thus you have to go with just an ordinary supermarket beans. Yes it has ceramic grinder but what the point if you cannot use it with good coffee beans. It was released on the market with plastic steam valve, which sometimes (I was told by Saeco… Read more
serviceman) just explodes inside the machine.
I had it serviced 3 times (for the same damn steam valve) during 2 years from the day of purchase.
Saeco service here in Melbourne stinks. They are happy to charge you $135 for every service an that is it.
This thing cost me $1800 + $405 (repair cost). For that price I expect it to work as a Swiss clock.... but it does not.
No more Saeco products in my house. Makes a good coffee... if you are lucky. Absolutly unreliable. Grinding anything but dead-dry beans is a challenge.

Terrible – Service Pathetic... if there was a zero I'd score it that.... Had a fault within 1 month... took 8 weeks to fix... lasted 2 weeks.... MY ADVICE NEVER BUY SAECO!!!! Had this coffe maker over two years never any problem love it makes good brooooooo!
Terrible – Would not recommend and will never purchase Saeco again. My brother owns the same machine and has been more fortunate until recently, his machine has now stopped working also. Even the repairer admmitted that these machines are hit and miss, apparently some will happily make 15,000+ cups and others only 1000. Easy to clean and makes a lovely… Read more
coffee (when working properly). Inconsistent coffee temperature and amount dispensed. Steam wand stopped working after only a few months use, water pump needed replacing after 18 months. Machine stopped working 15 months after repair. Will not pay for more repairs so machine will find a new home at the dump.
OK – Apart from the grinder mechanism being overly sensitive to oilier beans (which I found can be prevented by using Lavazza Gold label exclusively) it has been a good machine. Have had the machine for some years now. Is simple to use and makes excellent coffee Was extremely expensive. It does not like dark roast/oily beans! Do not put them in as… Read more
they will clog up the grinder which will result in an expensive service/new parts if you aren't of the handy persuasion. Is also temperamental - the "dregdrawer full" message is popular when it is actually empty and you are in a hurry.

Reasonable coffee. Easy to use – Got this as a wedding present and it's been in service for over 8 years, making atleast 8 coffees a day. The coffee is reasonable but I have the machine maxed out and I feel it could still be a little stronger. It is dead easy to use and in the 8 years we've had it, it has only been back to the shop twice for minor maintenance issues which can… Read more
still work out to be a bit expensive. My sister has a manual Breville machine that makes nicer coffee but it took them a while to get it dialled in to the point where they make GREAT coffee every time. I would recommend it anyone who can't stand instant coffee (me) but still wants to be able to make a decent coffee in around 2 minutes. Simple to use. Fast start up Coffee could be stronger
Reliable work horse – This machine has been an unbelievably reliable old work horse. No frills and is slow to make multiple cups of milk based coffee. The dreg counter is erratic and frustrating but apart from that it just churns out great cups of coffee year after year. I make about 20 cups/week and have been doing so for around 8 years. It had its first service a… Read more
month or two back because it was leaking a bit. $70 later she is firing on all fours perfectly again. I do admit it is getting a bit noisy and seems to leave more mess inside as she gets older but hey, after making something approaching 8,000 cups who can complain. reliable and simple dregs counter is frustrating as the machine wont go until I reset it
This is Perfect, can't live without my Saeco – As a coffee lover I have tried numerous brands over the years and this would have to be my all time favourite machine. It is a work horse :) I make at least 10-15 coffee's a day and it has never failed to produce a perfect cup. Reliable and makes a perfect coffee every time
Excellent – Best ever coffee machine, easy to use and very reliable. Use good quality coffee beans and you will never be disappointed Best coffee machine ever! Second Saeco I have owned, upgraded to this one. It has never has missed a beat, I clean it regularly and have never needed to have it professionally serviced and it is 3 years old. My machine makes at least 10 cups/ day. Now you can't beat that!! Highly recommend a Saeco Haven't found any
Never again – Worst coffee machine ever. Replaced after only two weeks, no steam. Two machines in two weeks and got another two weeks before this one died. 10 and sometimes goes off. Find putting milk in microwave before using machine is OK. Ha ha complained to saeco but didn't care too much. I know if I treated my customers the same I wouldn't have a job. Sorry saeco can't even give you one star. Make good boat anchor. Glad we still have a kettle.
Did you know what you were doing??? I have had one for years and it is great. Solid and reliable and great coffee every time.
It delivers the simple pleasure of fab coffee in the comfort of home – The Incanto is easy to use and maintain. We love the fact that the cofee beans are ground immediately before brewing, giving us maximum aroma and freshness. The whole process is short, too. The steamer is relatively quiet; a friend's budget coffee machine's steamer is REALLY noisy when it steams milk. Some reviewers complain about the… Read more
Incanto releasing water before the steam comes out. I simply use a cup to catch the first flow until steam is built up and released, then I remove the cup and bring in the jug of milk for steaming. Use full cream milk and the Incanto creates smooth, thick froth. Mmmmmm
The machine's features are well thought through, eg the adjustable height and depth of the brew unit, to accommodate different size cups. I like the self-rinsing function that flushes the internal circuit, even though that uses about 2 full mugs of water that has to be caught when flushed out. But at least I know the machine is clean inside and out.
The water tank is sufficient for us, and very easy to refill. I reckon a full tank yields about 6-8 medium cups of coffee. Easy to use; quick bean-to-cup coffee When self-rinsing, much steam wafts up the front of the machine and display window. I hope the steam won't short-circuit the display, if that's possible
Terrible – Absolute rubbish. Don't waste your money. We try to use this machine every day na dit continues to stuff up - especially when trying to steam milk. Works great for 10 seconds max, then just starts pumping out water. Makes terrible Coffee. Steam works for about 10 seconds, then pumps out water, then tells you to 'ventilate'
Terrible – Would not recommend Saeco to anyone. Poor machines, poor service and you are left feeling very poor from all the money and time that these machines cost you. Looks good on the bench and is easy to use Is totally unreliable, leaks, needs constant repairs so make sure you get that extended warranty. We had two machines in two years, neither worked… Read more
longer that 8 months, the first had to be replaced as it was broken by repairer in transit and the second is still waiting to be repaired! We expect that this will also take 8 weeks. Don't bother ringing Saeco as you will get the run around and no support whatsoever.
Terrible – Expensive and frustgrating machine. It never worked properly. Took it back a couple of times - was told i have to empty grounds every time i make a coffee, but still didn't work properly. all right on the benchtop When it did work - about a month, the coffee was weak and lukewarm. Very frustrating machine.
Unsatifactory – Owned the Incanto Deluxe for 5 years and although it has made about 5 cups a day, the espresso was never warm, extraction rate was not good and the machine sometimes leaked. On average repaired annually at a cost of $125 each service. Dregdraw full message was often erroneous, and as the machine got older became less efficient at removing dregs,… Read more
requiring very frequent brew unit cleaning, and declining coffee quality. The Saeco agent i dealt with was very self righteous coffee pontificators and had an answer for everything, so i have decided to steer clear of them and saeco. Its riduculous that a simple beverage like coffee is made so complicated and costly, through the use of these automated systems, and Saeco Incanto is the only automatic I have owned. Reliable only if serviced, but quality of coffee is poor for the price of the machine Agent concerned about sales, not longevity of customer relationship, for domestic market anyway.
Great work horse - well used – We had this machine in excess of 8 years & well & truly had our money's worth out of it! Only serviced twice during that time. Made the best coffees. This machine was so durable that it actually survived a fall of my caravan bench whilst the van was being towed! Great crema, reliable & built to last.
Very good coffee machine – Very good coffee machine. Have made more that 10000 coffee's over 7 years. Swing Wear and tear Come in now. Needs to be cleaned weekly and serviced yearly. Reliable, and makes great coffee Service expensive
Terrible – LIke many of the reviews I have read, my machine has been back to the repairer so many times & at HUGE cost. The latest stint is apparently the CPU needs replacing at a cost of $450 pfft! For the amount of $ I have spent on it since purchase, it shoudl have gold platted fittings and avrythign should be brand new inside... sadly this is not the case. DO NOT PURCHASE Everything! I thought mine was was cursed unti I have read all these reviews!
