Its Good Car seat but there is one big drawback which I came to know only after few months of purcha – I bought the Britax Safe and Sound Car seat from baby bunting about a year ago for my 3year old daughter as we needed a second car seat to upgrade her to booster seat .Overall was very happy with it,but just paid a little more than my budget to buy this . The only drawback which pinched me is when about 6 months later I decided to wash the car… Read more

seat .

I removed the cover to wash it but to my surprise under the car seat the corner of this car seat has thermocol padding which were covered in food particles accumulated over the 6 months. It made me so very disappointed with this car seat for this only purpose. I felt really bad coz I dont really understand why was that thermocol padding provided under the seat covers and the sad part is the child can't sit on the seat if I remove this thermocol.

Its been a year now and every time I remove the covers its covered in the fungus of food particles. Its very diappointing .With safety perspactives and comfort its very good .

I bought this car seat for my 3 year old daughter so that this could last for next 3 or 4 years but after seeing whats under the covers I doubt it will last that long coz the thermocol is starting to rip as I try to clean it:(

1 repair center in whole VIC. Leading brand? Are you serious? – I owe this seat since 5 years. Now out of warranty and I have issue with it. They have 1 "repair center" in Victoria which is in a bicycle store. That sort of customer support from a company who sells $600+ seats is really poor. The seat also just ok i never seen the real value behind it rather looked flimsy than safe.

Good but disappointed speakers stopped working – We bought this car seat as our 2nd car seat (both safe sounds) and have been happy with it in terms of comfort but it's a shame the speakers stopped working. It made the whole notion seem like a gimmic - when otherwise we're quite happy with the seat.

Terrific seat – We have two car seats and this is by far the better of the two. Very comfortable and my son can sleep in it happily. We got the basic model as seen without all the weird bells and whistles eg headphones and cup holder etc. Great seat and looks like it will last well. Comfortable for my son

Love this seat but wish it was smaller – We have used this seat for over a year now. My son has never complained about it and always seems to be comfortable, he is almost 3.5 and still seems to have plenty of room left in the harness (not booster). The straps are easy to adjust. The buckle is further forward and easy to clip them in. I thought the cup holders and speakers were… Read more

unnecessary but they have actually been so handy (when mum & dad are sick of listening to Play School music! haha). I put my other sons drink bottle in the second cup holder so it can be accessed. I don't think we will be able to use it though if we need 3 seats in the car, which is a shame. Comfort, useful accessories, good safety rating. Too bulky, one of the most expensive convertible booster seats

Great – We had this for a while now and we have been very happy with it. When we shopped for convertible booster seat, we had our 3 yo son sat on a few to try. We found some of the booster seats have the buckle so far back that it was really hard to put on without squashing his private bits - we have one (of different and cheaper brand) which we use in… Read more

our second car for our girl.

If you are buying for boys, I will definitely recommend this seat as it is so much more easier and comfortable for them. So easy to buckle kids in, especially for boys Expensive in comparison to other brand

Faultless!! I love this seat – This seat is faultless. I love everything about it. I have two of these one for my current 4 year old and one for my 11 month. The seat gives them both excellent support around the head at all heights and age with the moulded head rest unlike other seats when the child's falls asleep there head doesn't flop around, the straps are easy to adjust… Read more

when needed, head rest grow with the children giving them the support, covers are easy to remove and wash, it has a slide guard clip which is a extra safety feature with a harness or adult belt. It's easy to convert to booster mode when needed. My 4 year old still fits in the inbuilt harness which I love because its safer. The buckle stays forward so children don't sit on it when getting in. It is suitable from aprox 6 months till 8 years. It has a good safety rating for both carseat and booster mode. I recommend this 100% to parents, careers and grandparents. I've had other car seats and none tick all the boxes the maxi ahr do Keeps children in a harness longer and the head rest gives head support It is on the bigger side but I have 2 in the car and still can fit a passenger in. If any thee dear was needed a capsule can fit or slimmer seat such as a safe and sound compac
