I suggested to send them photos or video to see if it is likely repairable or not before committing with them to come on-site but they refused, and their attitude was a bit kind of not so nice. I eventually called a local plumber who came over in an hour to review the leaking problem without any charge. I later decided on the night to install a new one and got it done on the next day at a price 40% lower than Same Day Hot Water Services' listed price for the same product and service. I don't recommend Same Day Hot Water Services as they're the most expensive one. I had checked few companies their prices were actually around 25%-40% cheaper.

urgency I didn't have much time in hand to research well on the brand and the installer so I was heavily reliant on other customers review. After a lot of research I shortlisted my options to SPT, Aquatech and Reclaim and only Reclaim has an option of SS cylinder so even though they are expensive I decided to go with Reclaim 315 litres SS cylinder and V2 controller and 10 years warranty. Only time will tell if the system is worth the money but heaps of positive customer reviews and the fact that it's cylinder is manufactured in Australia and Heat Pump as such is manufactured in Japan stood out for me. Once I decided to go with Reclaim then the next question was about the installer.

Unfortunately none of the providers were able to guarantee same day or the next day installation even under emergency situation which was a shame but surprisingly Same Day Hot Water Service (SDHWS) lived up to their name and promise. The expertise SDHWS have in this line of business is second to none. SDHWS were the only one who have mentioned the cost of the system upfront on their website. Also they were the only one who had a stock of Reclaim 315l/SS cylinder/V2 controller/10 years warranty as opposed to other service providers who had a 6-8 weeks of waiting time. SDHWS installation process was seamless and you will be left wowed at their efficiency, quality of work and speed. No hidden cost at all. What I saw on the quote was all I had to pay. They installed the HWS right at 7am the next morning from the day I placed an order without taking any deposit. The balance amount through credit card without any surcharge. My entire process was looked after by Tye who works out of NSW office. Due to my urgency Tye got the system installed the very next day. My Solar Vic application wasn't approved for a week but he never forced me to pay the whole invoice until he received an outcome from Solar Vic. I had 3 plumbers and 2 electricians on site to finish the job and I must say that they did such a fab job that I am proud to leave a good review for SDHWS team for other customers to experience the same delightful journey I have been through. If you have already shortlisted your new HWS or still searching for one then I'd strongly recommend you to consider chatting with Tye to save your time and effort. Tye is not a Sales Consultant and he is willing to patiently answer all your questions without pushing you to buy any of their products or services. Absolutely fabulous right from the Jackie who booked it, to the gentlemen that came and installed. They were so friendly, warm and left the site clean. I cannot fault the service from this company.

Excellent service with well experienced staff. Highly recommended. Nicely dressed and great communication. Well explained the issue in HWS and quickly fixed it.

Tye was great to work with on the changeover of our new hot water system. He worked hard making sure the pipework fitting were sourced to match what we had previously set up on our other system. Would use this company again.

Do not recommend—at least not in Sydney/Central Coast. Poor product quality and even worse customer service. I purchased a hot water tank from them, and the relief valve failed within the first year. warranty and instead quoted over $500 for repairs—almost half the cost of the entire tank, which is less than three years old. I explained that the replacement part should reasonably be covered under its own warranty, but the representative insisted that only the original tank’s warranty applied. When I pointed out that this was poor customer service, the lady on the phone literally hung up on me mid-sentence. I’d strongly suggest waiting a little longer and spending slightly more with a more reputable company.

We said,” No we’re paying for install and supply, assumed this is part of it?” Apparently “people in the office” told us we had to supply electrician!” Upon many phone calls from [Name Removed] to office and us to office……electrician wasn’t qualified to commission the pump? The office said, “It’s fine just fill it up.” To which we said, “Will this affect our warranty if unqualified work is taken out and pump fails(worse case scenario). We were told, “Nah all good!” This phone call was heard by the plumber! No paperwork was sent at the beginning of all of this about installation etc. soo can’t back yourself. Thank goodness we haven’t paid for it yet. Going to wait a week or three . Absolutely rubbish communication skills this company has!

Plumber’s attitude was bad – It’s my first time to use Same Day Hot Water Service to replace and install a new gas heater system. The booking was easy and the plumber came on time. payments would not incur any surcharge. So when I was asked to pay after the installation, I handed my debit card and said I would like to avoid the surcharge. The plumber processed my card with 1% surcharge added to my bill without telling me. I only noticed it after I saw the invoice! I questioned him about the surcharge. The plumber refused to explain, told me ‘it is what it is’ and left! He was very rude and his attitude was bad. I made a complaint to Same Day Hot Water Service and then got told that I could only avoid the surcharge by doing a bank transfer! It’s confusing and the messages are inconsistent.

The newly installed system has been working fine (Day 2) so I think his skills are okay but I do not recommend their service.

Excellent all round. We needed a hot water system replaced in a hurry and some maintenance done. We live in WA and property was tenanted in Melbourne. SDHWS could supply both electrician and plumber for job, whereas quote supplied from Property Manager could only do one trade. Very price competitive and easy to deal with. Tye (I think?)was the initial phone contact and was exceptional, who then liaised with Property Manager, then tenant to complete the job in a timely manner. Brilliant!

Highly recommend. The whole process of replacing our hot water heater from the initial phone call to installation was incredibly hassle free. The price was far better than a quote given to us & Josh who installed was very efficient with awesome knowledge. Very happy to recommend this company.

half the price as that was all that was required. Our water hose broke a few days later and with his advice, I was able to replace it myself with a hose from Bunnings. He may have lost a job but he will be the first person I call when our water tank inevitably fails.

I couldn't be more impressed with the service and price. The quote seemed suspiciously low compared with others we got via solar choice, but the customer service (including quick responses to 10pm texts about any possible additional costs [-there were none]) and the clear communication with both Tye (on phone) and Scott (installation lead) were the best you could hope fore. I really couldn't recommend them highly enough.
