Samsung refrigerator – The problems start with ice maker needed to be regular clean out . The new issue is broken smart panel shattered took out extended warranty to only learn it doesn't cover the smart screen as now made it useless. safety issue was not addressed by Samsung. 2. The touch screen on the Family Hub randomly stops working and needs restarting at least once a week. 3. Just last night, the fridge and freezer stopped cooling completely. The freezer was full of frozen breast milk for our premature baby who is currently still in hospital. When reaching out to Samsung to explain the situation, they respond like robots and say the earliest someone can come out is Wednesday because ‘process’. Not a care in the world for the consequences of their shocking products.

Ice cube maker NEVER WORKS – Samsung have agreed to fix all these fridges from 2014-2023 in America but not in Australia. Figure that out. Engel, whilst being cut off from flood waters. Will never buy another product from samsung ever again. I understand things can fail, however, samsung show no empathy or care for their customers. We have to do all the chasing from their authorised repairer. Likely we will be without a fridge for up to 4 weeks and Samsung - couldn't care less. So much for the 21st century! If you want after care - pray your product doesn't fail or don't choose samsung!!! Non existent customer service.

product and offered a full refund…three months on I still have not seen that refund….I have tried to make a complaint to Samsung which has been fobbed off…my case Manager does not responded to my emails….so why am I I telling you this…..part of owning a product especially when you spend over $3000 is that you expect that purchase to last without failure for just time and when there is an issue one would expect that when promises are made that they are followed through….With our new fridge which is now three months old we have had no problems it is quiet, water and ice maker has yet to fail…there are no pools of water forming in the pull our draw area…I have connected the fridge to our network and is streaming the family photos on the screen….it looks like a great addition to our new kitchen which is costing around 40k…However, if you Facebook Samsung fridge failures there are 65k unsatisfied followers of the Samsung product….my main fear is that in 12 months this fridge will fail with the same problems as my old fridge…..I bought this fridge for the family hub as with a household of 5 it is great to use the touch screen. call outs as it just stops working and here we are, wishing we’d never bought the overpriced garbage. Samsung, when they can’t fix an issue just ignore you, just save your money and buy a better fridge is my honest advice. The paint comes off, the area around the water dispenser is marked even though it gets wiped out religiously……and don't get me started at how hard it is to clean the glass panel above the fruit bins. The shopping list won’t sync between the fridge and the app so what’s the point in having it on the fridge at all. Found out the hard way that it had stopped syncing and as a result I didn’t get all I needed at the shops. Raised it with Samsung weeks ago and it seems to be too hard for them to fix or communicate with me about it….
We were looking at updating our fridge as our last one (Westinghouse side by side) was a lemon from the day we bought it. Thought we were going to run with another side by side (had laughed when this one came out thinking who would actually buy this fridge) but after spending so much time researching fridges and countless hours in store we found ourselves standing in front of this beauty. We were sold with the connectivity piece - shopping lists, Spotify, recipes, meal planing all able to by syncd to the Samsung app and before you know it we were proud owners! Since then we’ve had a hiccup with the display panel dying within 24 hours however that was rectified within days and a new display installed. We’ve had no issues since. The food stays amazingly fresh, the middle drawer that you can set to cater for beverages, meat or deli and the space!! So much space. Fresh filtered water and ice on tap with ease means we have all upped our h2o intake significantly. Love the shelf you can slide back to store tall bottles in need and love the space!! (Yep so much space I felt it needed to be said twice ;)). It connects to Bixby, gives me updates on my other Samsung appliances (dryer cycle finished) and let’s me listen to my fave tunes easily while cooking. Also love that I can use the view inside option when I’m out to see what’s in the fridge!! So easy to keep clean using a damp microfibre cloth to clean and a dry microfibre cloth to dry any water marks left.
