Pool faded very quickly and darkened above water line, contacted regarding warranty, did one test but said pool chlorine level slightly out, so bad luck, now is de-laminating, poor quality, warranty only good for above water line. Show details

Customer care a joke – Black sections showing on the pool surface..called customer care and got nowhere except told they would not come out and check even though I never asked for that support. Told it could be algae or paint breakdown…it’s not algae therefore it looks like I will have to get it painted. But no assistance on possible contractors to do the job. look elsewhere bad design – I posted a review some time ago; the paint is fading. Ongoing delays, no communication, terrible service – If you choose to use this company, be aware that their words don't match their actions. When we signed our contract, we were told installation would be August, however this has been delayed time and time again. We were finally give a date in October, however the digger did not complete the dig in one day, and rather than give our job priority… Read more
and extend it by a day, the company cancelled our install, sent the digger off to his next job and refused to return our calls.
We are now left with a half-dug pool taking up our entire back yard.
▪ Our pets can't go outside as we had to remove our side fence to let the digger in and it can't be replaced until the dig is completed.
▪ We can't access our washing line.
▪ Dust is blowing into our house and outdoor area.
▪ We have had to cancel all of our follow-on trades and now may miss out on getting them re-booked.
▪ The entire family is extremely disappointed as we expected we would have a completed pool by now
In response to an email complaint asking for a resolution, I was told by Sapphire Pools I had their 'assurances that our product and quality of installation is the best within the industry', however if I cannot believe this is the best the industry has to offer.
This has been the worst customer experience I can recall as a consumer, and would not recommend this company if you expect quality, communication, integrity, honesty and customer service.

The Port Kennedy Display Centre was great, with a wide variety of pools & products on display, and Ryan took the time to walk me through everything I needed to know. The whole process from initial meeting through to purchase was seamless without any pressure or pushiness.
Pricing was also extremely competitive and I am very excited for installation!
I would definitely recommend Ryan & Sapphire Pools to anyone looking.

to this dubious practice, they pay for half the labour costs. They refused and explained to me that this is what they do even though it is a removable part and should be easy to replace. Do NOT use Sapphire Pools FIND a pool company that does not use this practice.

Beware of hidden costs – Don’t expect to have explained to you the installation process and where they hide hidden costs, you pay for installation and tell them you have clay which is supposed to be factored into the quote , then they turn around and tell you you have to pay for extra sand because you have clay. you need temporary fencing, the supervisor will say it’s all good get hold of the sales rep as they can organise free temporary fencing for 3 months, then the rep says no only about 3-4 panels, so supervisor quotes you for temporary fencing, with the number of pool installations you do you’d think you would have this down packed by now. You quote a job you stick to that quote. Dont bother using their recommendations for landscaping especially freo stone, the most and best info I got was from the paver I am now using due to Freo stones lack of customer service also. I can not fault the product, really nice pool, just the customer service along the way is lacking, never know when things are going to happen unless you actually follow up regularly, room for improvement in this space Sapphire pools. Need to also let people know what you do and don’t do during the installation process. Pencil compaction was meant to be done in stages, this was done at final height so we will see how much sinking there is around the pool. Sub soil drainage stand pipe 350mm left uncapped and open, is there not supposed to be a lid for this?

Unprofessional – This company attempted to make me pay contract variations in 3 separate instances. They were: 1. Because they couldn't hire an appropriate sized crane (as quoted 9 months prior) so they attempted to hire a much bigger crane that was available. They then tried to pass the additional $3k charge on to me. 2. Their electrical contractor connected the… Read more
pump 41m from my power (the contract provisioned for 40m). The contractor attempted to charge $550 for the additional wire (available from bunnings at $3 p/m). 3. Their digger contractor charged them for 5 days (the contract provisioned 3 days). They then attempted to pass on the additional 2 day charge to me at $1,500 per day. Luckily my security cameras captured the contractor knocking off at 1pm for most of the days. Even after explaining this to them, they still attempted to charge me.
The installation day was a joke as the hole hadn't been dug wide enough for the pool. This resulted in additional crane time (1/2 a day) while they dug out the hole by hand with a 6x4m pool hanging 1m above their heads!
Overall experience was really poor. Communications were terrible (contract variations just appearing in my inbox without explanation), project management was terrible and post sales service has been non-exhistent.
I do not recommend to use this business in any of their forms (Sapphire Pools, Aquatechnics or Aqualeasure).

(Lucky im rich and can afford to take off time from work Insert sarcasm), my pool has only been at handover since October2022. Doesn't matter how many emails you send there is never a response, and most of the time you have to make multiple calls to even get a resolution. The communication between the customer service team, technicians and we who pay their wages and bills is severely lacking, with no one ever able to give you the same information. Like many others I will never go through the Aqua Technics group ever again. Still waiting on a response from last email follow up i sent regarding the original email (which was a follow up from a phone conversation) they have not responded to regarding the automatic pool cleaner. They were advised on the 5th of January this year that the cleaner provided by them continues to gets stuck on the steps. I was advised by their technician and a independent pool service provider it was not suitable for my pool and they should have known it was not suitable. Will be giving them 21days to rectify the issue and then I will take further action.

happiest and exciting experiences as a hard working family saving up to buy and install a new pool , our first ever pool has been nothing but stressful , emotional and quite degrading the way we’ve been treated . While the workers them selves have been great, it’s the communication and the constant rescheduling and delays that are beyond frustrating . It’s costs us a lot of money having to take time off work for all their comings and goings when they are only here for an hour or so at a time then they take off and come back for another hour or 2 the following week with short notice of when their coming and only to be told most times on a late Friday afternoon before their office shuts that they are either coming on a certain date the following week or not coming . With no time to call the office cause it’s closed . It’s almost like they plan it so they can’t be contacted . These office people are either doing this on purpose or that are legitimately that disorganised or are just that selfish with no empathy and just don’t care cause they’ve got their money now . Unfortunately there’s no excuses or leeway for what this company are doing when you are paying this kind of money . Honestly how do they think people pay for pools? By going to work ! And all these delays and rescheduling is messing with people’s livelihoods. if they keep delaying schedules or rescheduling last minute and we are having to take time off work it is costing our family income.Not to mention the workers we have lined up to do jobs around the pool and it’s costing them also , along with the people and families we work with too ,having to reschedule our own work because of this company’s incompetence . It’s a huge ripple affect and they need to know they aren’t just affecting one family with their delays . They cannot continued to treat people like this . I’ve had piles of sand left out for months . As of this afternoon they sent a text message to say they weren’t coming to collect the sand tomorrow! And on top of that they actually want to take the sand from my yard and dump it in the front of my house ! Till when ? Who knows probably another 2 months knowing their track record ! Not to mention my new pump filter is full of sand ! Because the sand they’ve left which is a massive pile which all the workers cannot believe it’s been left for so long is blowing straight into my pool . This is the last and finale straw on top of everything they have done. This is too draining and no one should have to deal with this! And certainly not when we’ve just dropped 35k on it either . I will have to take further avenues to stop them from doing this to other people and also get them to finish the job they’ve been paid to do. They’ve never once had to chase me up for payment so I shouldn’t have to chase them up for absolutely anything. It’s been a headache and I think I’ve actually become dumber after dealing with them . The actual workers that are front line have all been great unfortunately the office needs to have a massive shake up . This review pretty much is summing up the communication and delays . There’s a lot more that has gone on that I haven’t even being able to write but I’ll let people know I’ve also had to have someone come out and address and buff the mould issue so just be mindful of that as I do think that is a very important factor to note . Lazy craftsmanship when making the pool mould when we’ve paid extra to have a certain colour and glitter through the pool . They just presume people are putting headers on it so they don’t care about the top frame and Bodge it up with their glue . This company needs exposing for what they are doing . go at it. This is just a snap shot of the shody badly planned and crap work this company offers. Have been left completely jaded by the whole process, no body seems to any responsibility. Be prepared to all the phone calls, take days of work and then be told at short notice that that day's work is cancelled.

finally finished, pool filter stops working after 10 weeks. Ring to report on Wednesday, hear nothing ring again on Friday to have a technician book in a fortnight on a Wednesday to come have a look (so now it’s not been working for 15 days). They send msg to confirm appointment and give time of 8-12. I take day off work no one shows, I ring to say where is technical? Must have been a “glitch” rebook for a Friday in another 9 days. They are incompetent and deceitful, quick to say anything to you on the phone, so you wait and wait and then no one comes to fix yr problem and so you ring and make a complaint to get thrown back on the merry go round

Avoid! – Everything was fine up until shell delivery. Company said they would have the pool finished within 2 weeks.. what a lie! So many delays and poor excuses why the pool can not be completed and when they did have their trades come to complete work to get it finished they where gone by 12pm as they had another install to go and do!! Why would you be installing more pools if you can't keep up with the demands of the ones already in the ground. 7 weeks later after constantly calling up ALT to get them moving to complete our pool we now have our pool ready for winter. Which isn't ideal.
They said we wouldn't need more sand so they took everything from the pool hole away to then needing 2x deliverys of sand to back fill at an extra cost!! I still have a pile of yellow sand blocking my back access gate as they didn't even finish filling around the pool area only put it right next to the pool to be compacted in.
Save yourself the hasstle and go else where!

Worst after sales service – Had pool put in 7 weeks ago and still can't use it they will not come and remove excess sand from around pool even when i was informed that by their personal that this would be done. I ring constantly and get told it will be done just waiting on the staff to book it . The installation is where they let themselves down, they sub contract the majority of the work out and the Customer Care team try to coordinate it without the technical knowledge and communication required and it’s an absolute mess! We have had approximately 30 - 40 visits from ALT or their subcontractors in order to install our pool!
Their sequencing of trades is ridiculous. They send out one tradesmen who complains that the other tradesmen has not completed the work so he storms off site saying that his area is not ready yet, so you have to get in touch with the office again (on hold for ages) and maybe 1 to 2 weeks later the first tradesmen turns up, and only then the original tradesmen is able to return and so it goes on for weeks and weeks, months and months all while you need to take time off work in order for them to have access to your property.
We had a simple pool & spa with a filtration system and yet it took them five months to get the pool handed over. Every problem became our problem and there was never an apology for all the delays, they would just keep sending out another tradesmen who was not familiar with the job or the history, frustrating the tradesmen and us even more. We have probably had between 10-15 different sub-contractor tradesmen to have to liaise with and give access to - each of them not knowing the history or often the reason they’ve been called to site!
Then on top of it all the cheek, they started sending the invoices before the work was complete, quoting various contractual clauses in the pool construction act from the very first invoice, addressing it as “this is just advanced notice of your upcoming payment when your work is completed”. The problem is you pay 80% of the entire cost of the pool when the fibreglass is delivered and installed so there is very little incentive for them to complete your pool entirely as there is only a little sum outstanding. Their entire system and process is a shambles and the initial sales guy - he’s long gone with his commission and fails to ever return your calls.
Avoid this company at all costs. Because they were so big I just trusted that everyone goes with them they must be fine, it was only until I hit issues and heard from many others in Perth who had experienced similar issues that I did a Google review search and saw all the negativity that you see below. They would hands-down win the worst service company in Perth Award!

The day the pool was to go in it was cancelled by the bobcat guy, he blamed it on our rock breaker saying the hole wasn’t in the correct position. supervisor left the company. The aqua ledge was delivered the same day as the pool and was left on a slope and consequently warped. Long story short, the original measurements that our rock breaker did were correct, exactly central to the peak of our alfresco. The pool was placed as directed and was out by 120cm, not only was the pool placed in the wrong position but the aqua ledge wasn’t placed central to the pool. All of the workers blamed each other, the office staff were great and the complaint was handled by middle management well, with an offer of financial reimbursement or a an offer of aesthetic adjustment. That is until management had the last say and all offers were off the table. The rudest, most unprofessional company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Also keep in mind when choosing a company they are all small company’s under one big umbrella. Do your homework.

Unfinished – We had our pool delivered on the 8th September and half compacted. We have not heard from Sapphire since despite approximately 6 phone calls to follow up. No dates in the schedule for when they will return and I noticed they haven’t put a completion date in the contract leaving me to wonder if this is a purposeful omission. The pool is very easy to look after and handover was well done.
