tried DMs on FB messenger, left comments on their socials - to check the status of my order - but so far nothing but an automated response advising that a ticket had been raised (and if I was to submit a further request, my ticket could be pushed further down the queue)! If they can't deliver - that's fine - just let me know & provide a refund! As a subsidiary of @HarveyNorman @theschoollocker is doing enormous brand damage to the parent company! • said no manager was available to make a decision Later, the manager called and said the shoes were “fixed” by polishing and asked me to collect them. When I went back, the damage was still clearly visible. Polishing does not fix poor-quality shoes. This store is the only approved place to buy school uniforms and shoes, so parents have no alternative. Because of this, the lack of support and refusal to resolve a clear issue is even more disappointing.
I have already wasted a significant amount of time writing emails and making complaints over a $95 purchase, which should have been resolved quickly and fairly. As this issue remains unresolved, I will be lodging a complaint with Fair Trading and, if required, proceeding to QCAT. I would not recommend this store based on my experience.

not exist.... We purchased a pair of $80 black Mary Jane school shoes for my daughter who started prep this year. Within 8 months of purchase and just over 5 months of use one of the metal buckles snapped in half whilst my daughter put on her shoes before school, rendering the shoes now unable to be fastened which one would think would class as a major product defect.
Returned to The School Locker - North Lakes QLD where the rudest supervisor made the comment that the shoes were over 8 months old as if this voided any warranty. When I told her that products should have a 12 month warranty and pointed out that this was a major product defect due to the buckle she unbelievably stated that as the lip of the shoes were scuffed they deemed that no warranty was required as this was a Fair wear and Tear situation. I was then told to 'try my luck' with making a claim through the manufacturer. Sure enough they didn't provide any details to contact the manufacturer and also failed my request to provide their reasons for rejecting my warranty claim in writing.
I've since made a complaint to the Office of Fair Trading QLD however after multiple attempts made by them to contact the business (via official contact details listed on their website) the School Locker has failed to respond to the OFT leaving me with the only option to make a claim via QCAT which I'll need to take a day off work for an $80 refund on a pair of school shoes.
Many other reviews seem to show 'dodgy' warranty rejection claims and hopefully a complaint to the ACCC might sort this business out. In the meantime I would recommend avoiding The School Locker - North Lakes as it's been one of my worst retail experiences.

to and from the bus stop and school every day. It has some obvious wear and tear (and it's clear the bag quality isn't great) but that has nothing to do with the stitching. The manager kept saying my son must be using it over one shoulder causing the strap to be pulled from it's stitching but he always has it over both shoulders so that's clearly not what has happened. I mentioned that the old bag bought from the old supplier of the uniform lasted 3 years before I bought a new one because of wear and tear (no straps had come off) and I was told to go back to the old supplier and buy a new bag. A horrible experience and will not be going back there again.

They rip people off by selling overpriced apparel, and we have no choice but to buy from them because they hold a monopoly. Customer support is non-existent, and when they do respond, they act as if they don’t care because they know you have no alternatives. Keep raising complaints with your schools and don’t let them partner with School Locker.

provisional shipment date was supposed to be on 24/4/25 however did not get shipped until June a whole two months after this advised date.
This first shipment date shipment contained only half the stock, with other stock being sold that was not available calling for refunds for disappointed staff members. Additionally, wrong colours items being shipped multiple times. The black colour variants of items being significantly shorter in length compared to navy items leading to shorts that were ordered being unwearable in a school setting. Not to mention on the first shipment they also got the school logo incorrect.
The support team was communicative however. Overall a poor experience with our order being pushed back multiple times - leaving a sour taste in our mouth.
Not worth even one star. Very disappointing. Ordered two pairs of shorts but got only one pair delivered after two months and almost in autumn. They also charge $10 delivery because they don't stock up the school uniform shop.
Just a terrible company to deal with. Doesn’t deserve any stars. Schools should not be signing their communities up to monopoly suppliers of uniforms that have no commitment at all to customer service. They don’t answer phones and don’t respond to email/online enquiries. Don’t even pretend to care. Also sizing is all over the shop.

The laptop was needed mainly for my neurodivergent child, who is a keen and talented digital animator, artist and musician. The $1,500 spent on the laptop is a lot of money for me, as a single parent with disability and carer for a child with disability.
I have submitted a request for a refund via the School Locker website but would have preferred the option to talk to a human being by phone as well.
Never again - unreliable – Half the items I ordered were out of stock and were not shipped. I had to request the refund twice - once through response to their email, which did nothing. Then I had to complain through their contact form. Never again.

it didn't ship and i had to send another email asking where it was and they said to wait another 7 days and it would definitely be sent, this happened 3 more times. I'm halfway through the uni course and they haven't even sent it. took me 4 emails demanding a refund before they accepted it, but said the refund would take another 10 to process, which is ridiculous. Got another email from them today where they said that the item i bought that was marked as in-stock when purchased, actually wasn't, that they knew about this but never ordered any more in, 4 weeks of being told to wait for it to come and they never even had any intention of shipping it. Better off buying in retail store so you know who you are dealing with AND being able to have the product in hand. Or just deal with a more reputable company with better customer service.
