Hi there, I've purchased a gg-901 rangehood which came with 150mm ducting. Can you tell me the length of the ducting supplied?

Hi. I need to make an urgent decision. I am confused between the silent and non-silent model. If i compare the GG901 having 1080cfm extraction with silent 900cfm model. Is it only the difference of sound as cfm is almost similar. Is there a performance difference? Also, would 1000cfm be efficient for asian cooking in a small butlers kitchen. Will appreciate a reply.

Hi Nadz, Thankyou for your query, there is a quality difference as well. The GG901 is made in China with 3 years warranty. The silent models- Isodrive motors are made in Germany with a 10 year warranty and a lot more efficient to run.

The 60cm version of this as advertised at Harvey Norman says Halogen lights, Good Guys ad says LED. Could you please tell me exactly which lights it has? Will help re our decision, or at least clear up the confusion. Thanks.

One more question Haley, it says the GG-6C is exclusive to Good Guys, and the HN-6C is exclusive to Harvey Norman. There appears to only be 2cm difference in width between the 2 models. Is this the only difference? Thanks very much. (easier than asking the stores who may be unaware of the other store's model) Are they suitable for above an induction cooktop, as that also appeared in one review, that it may not be? Thanks.

Hi Caro, Yes, that is correct, other than the slight sizing difference, the only other differences are cosmetic i.e. light positioning, button positioning. They are both suitable for induction cooking, please ensure you follow the installation guide for induction: external link

Wondering whether this rangehood should be installed by ducted ? Recirculating installation is possible?

Hi ChulJoong, The GG-901 can be ducted or re-circulated. We provide flexible ducting as standard in the box as this is the most common type of installation. However, if you do wish to re-circulate the rangehood you can purchase charcoal filters through our spare parts department on 1300 829 066 (M-F 9am-5pm AEST). These can be easily fitted by yourself, you can find instructions on how to do so in the installation guide.
