Worst customer service
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They fill their stores with uni students who might genius geeks but couldn't relate on a human level if they tried. All they want is your money and once they have it good luck getting any tech support

Sent wrong product, refuse to discuss and only response is to submit a warranty claim online...
Ordered a wireless product from them and they sent the wrong product. They refused to provide any support re return via phone or email. Only available option is apparently to submit a warranty claim online and wait for an indeterminate amount of time... Terrible customer service but sometimes cheaper than others...

Questionable practices
I purchased an expensive monitor from the Clayton store and picked it up in person. In hindsight I should have inspected the box carefully but I was in a hurry and having dealt with this company for almost two decades I did not expect to be deceived. I paid for a new monitor but got a repackaged one instead. The box was not factory sealed but taped shut with packing tape. However, if it has had extensive use prior to my purchase it may have a reduced life. Having read other reviews it seems that I am not the only one to have issues with Scorptec. we sell are always clearly listed as ex-demo and sold at a lower price. This is not uncommon for products that need to be localised by the importer when they first arrive into Australia - the package must be opened and cables may need to be swapped. This may have been the case with your monitor, however we can assure you that your monitor was never opened between the time that Scorptec received the unit and you purchased it in-store.What a load of rubbish. factory sealed except for this most recent purchase. Why would a monitor need to be "localised" this should be done in the factory and until this purchase all have been. I don't believe a word of Scorptec's reply. However, all is not lost this bad experience has prompted me to thoroughly survey the market and I have discovered better and cheaper options. Terrible
I used to tell people how good Scorptec are , now all i can say to them is that they are the worst of the worst in the industry . They treat their loyal customers like nothing when it comes to making themselves happy . I got a RMA card from them after MSI approved a faulty graphics card claim and it was scratched! They pocketed the money from MSI and gave me a USED card . I'm starting to wonder if Scorptec is an elaborate scam
I visited a physical store two weeks ago and handed over $2000 with a promise that my computer would be ready for collection within 4 or 5 days and they would email me. After hearing nothing, I contacted them and was told that there were delays and it would take another week. After another week had gone by with hearing nothing, I rang again. Now I'm told that one of the computer components I need is out of stock and there is no ETA on its arrival.

Failed to respond to Emails about Software Legitimacy
I tried to buy software (Microsoft Office), but before buying it I wanted confirmation the software was legitimate. As they have suspended phone communication, I tried their email service which has a claimed 24-48 hour reply policy. I sought a response to two straightforward questions: (1) what is a media less software copy; and (2) is the downloadable version an original/legal version of Office. After newly a week (and a follow-up email) I am still awaiting a response. I can only from the non-response assume that Scorptec has something to hide when it comes to software.

response times. We are a Microsoft partner so all Microsoft software that we sell is legitimate. A media-less version of Office means there is no disk or USB in the package, the package contains the license code and verification information, the software itself can be downloaded directly from Microsoft.Similar opinion? Good products, issue with communication and delays
Overall an ok experience. There were delays with my order even though when I originally submitted my order all the items were available. Very hard to get in contact with them to discuss. Sent multiple emails with no reply. As of today I am still waiting for an item which is holding up my PC build. After spending over $8k on my order I am disappointed with the customer service. If you do not require any customer service and/or are not in a rush for products, then I would recommend using Scorptec. Prices are competitive

Above and beyond service
The people at Scorptec went above and beyond what was necessary for my PC build. When an item was unavailable they waived the extra costs, did not make me pay shipping for an item that was not at the building location and were available to answer any queries I had about my system. I thoroughly recommend Scorptec for anyone wishing for a trouble free pc build experience.

Terrible customer services and inflexible return policies
I purchased a MSI B450 Tomahawk Max on the 27th of July which arrived with a faulty RAM slot, meaning that the entire computer was unable to run. I was hoping to be entitled to a refund but the Aftersales Manager at Scorptec Clayton, Arthur said that I was only entitled to a repair after meeting him in person.
Timeline:
27 July 2020: The motherboard was collected
29 July 2020: Sent graphics card in for testing as I believed that it was causing the issue
25 August 2020: Graphics card was shipped back
10 November 2020: Motherboard was sent in for testing
20 November 2020: Fault was detected
9 December 2020: Refurbished motherboard was sent back...Read more

i ordered an RTX 3060 TI on Christmas day, i used express post, the item arrived within the 2 business days! the staff at scorptec handled my order so quickly and efficiently im surprised i hadent known about them before my purchase. it was normal price and great service, i cant complain and we need more companies like this, easy online services and legitimate. another customers only complain was a refund was hard to get started as their phone numbers are currently out of order, as long as you know how to find their contact even a refund only t...Read more

Same day processing raising the bar out here
Recently got a refund for a pc case cause scorptec advertised that they happened to have the case i wanted in stock. Purchased it asked a few questions within the hour got all my questions answered and even some question I had yet to ask were already answered. And to top my day off they've already processed my case and she's on her way home!

Quick and easy
Their website could use a facelift, but other than that I have nothing bad to say about these guys. I ordered my stuff online then drove down to the store and picked them up a day or two later. Lots of products, quick service, all round good.

Willing to lie to get out of honoring warranty
Bought a monitor that broke within a year. Tried to contact them for warranty as it was covered for 3 years, took weeks to get through. After taking in the monitor for 2 months they tell me nothing's wrong with it and maybe I should try more cables. Got it back, tried multiple different cables and ports, same problem. Another monitor works perfectly on the same ports and cables. Hardly ever picks up the phone, super slow even in person and never gets back to you about anything unless you hassle them.

ally got through, top manager Arthur not only refuses to let me demonstrate the problem to them in person so we can at least agree that something is wrong, he flat out refuses to even acknowledge that theres anything wrong with the example shots I sent him. Says “I dont see a difference, personally. Our tech guy says its fine” Was literally left speechless at the sheer cheek of calling a blatantly 4 bit degraded image with zero tonal gradation as “fine” before telling me the conversation was done and hung up on me. Wow, I guess nothing is ever under warranty if you simply refuses to acknowledge anything is broken and refuses to let the other party demonstrate the problem. Our technical team have advised that they have performed significant testing on the monitor and cannot find any problem with the display. I believe that the team have advised we can have the monitor inspected & tested by the authorised repairer to confirm that it is functioning as expected. Still waiting....
I placed an order for a screen at the start of October !!! A good month later got an eta of December 3... still nothing then after that date passed got told they couldn’t supply me the screen at all... and I had to change to another ... could have told me after I first ordered it! Now I’m waiting for them to get back to me about this whole different screen they gave me an option to buy ... when will I hear back maybe end of Feb?? Do not order from this company!!

Ordered "in stock" parts 3 weeks ago, keep getting new promised deliver dates, no phone number or email to talk to anyone, this is unacceptable business practice.

Unacceptable - Uncontactable
My experience with Scorptech was enough for me to never want to shop with the company again.
I placed about 4 enquiries through regarding a refund on a GPU (RTX 3080) that hadn't arrived in 3 months and there was no response. The photo attached shows their website had been partially disabled such that you could not contact them in case of situations such as these which is terrible customer service.

Impossible to contact
I placed an order and wished to change an item as the original was on a long lead time. I left 4 messages over as many days (or more) and got one reply telling me the item was on a long lead time and I should consider and replacement. I suggested the replacement but have not heard from them after 2 working days. I have cancelled the order and requested a refund, still nothing heard. The fact they block their phones puts customers from outside the metro area at a great disadvantage, my next option is to drive 150K and eyeball them but they probably have the door locked as well. Amazingly bad customer service that warrants no further business with them.

Bad customer service
Non existent customer service. Been trying to get a hold of them through email, or under order correspondence nothing. Phone line also suspended.
Update - someome reached out finally. Items are now scanned and "ready for dispatch" hasn't been shipped yet I wonder how long will this take on top of waiting a month and a half. In addition i've emailed countless of times to ask whether i could pick this up myself still awaiting for response.

spent 3300$ on a new computer. didnt have proper drivers, windows was broken, their customer support is abysmal
anybody out there planning on buying a computer, PLEASE do not buy from scorptec. if you have any issues with the system they give you (and i had douzens) you will be absolutely screwed

Thanks for your question, the pricing on our website is based off the cost of the goods to Scorptec. Unfortunately this cost can mean that the product cannot be sold at MSRP, we expect that once global supply improves that the pricing of these cards will improve.
