The ice cream within the double caramel ego was creamy as remembered, but the chocolate was disappointing and left a bitter after-taste. My favourite ego and I cant find it anywhere! – Literally the best magnum. Always has always will be. Can’t find it anywhere. Probably discontinued because of all these BAD REVIEWS! How to eat: eat the first layer of chocolate, lick the caramel off then eat the next layer of chocolate an vanilla ice cream. Addicted to it – Caramel magnum is double yummy! I ONLY keep Magnumm ice cream bars in the house. These caramel dipped ones will make you fall in love. Gives you a rich flavor of Vanilla bean ice cream dipped in a chocolatey coating, sauce and milk chocolate.This ice cream is so delicious and addictive that I would easily pay double the price for this . My kids love it Its simply a win win ice cream worth trying.

Magnum Tiny – Used to be the best. Far from it. You'll eat 2 just to get the same content as a few years ago. Done with them and the & the $11 cost for a small 4 pack.

Magnum have lost all credibility – Threw away the whole box of Luxe egos after one bite. What happened to the old ones? These tasted like super sweet nothing and were so small. They shrunk the ice cream – They were last weighing in at 97ml and they’re now down to 85ml. They were expensive enough at $11 a box for 388ml, now you’re still paying the same amount but for even less. I’ve yet to try the new ones but based on most / all recent reviews I don’t expect them to be any good and doubt I’ll ever buy an ego again. They’re going to loose good customers and not make new ones by the looks of things (and I’m not sure they care). Show details

Shrinkflation Station – The shrinkflation that Streets have imposed on Australian consumers is so disrespectful, I don't understand the business sense of making this cult ice cream (that use to bring joy) so small that consumers turn? Cadbury is another serial offender. Ego's use to be a family favourite but if Streets think the public will continue to put up with ongoing disrespect and keep buying their products then they are kidding themselves.

Smaller and taste bad – Use to buy these all the time but went on a health kick so stopped. Was going to start getting them again now I’m at my goals but they are now tiny and taste nowhere near as good as they use to. I use to enjoy each layer separately but now it’s all rubbish. the second coat of chocolate was barely there and couldnt contain the surprisingly quick melting ice cream. This was a really big disappointment, og egos were a real treat and eating them was like a ritual .. outer choc first, lick the caramel off, then the second coat to reveal the thick creamy vanilla ice cream. Please bring back the OG Ego streets. This was a poor attempt to replace it.

salty caramel! They haven't even changed the label to say that it's been changed to salty caramel. I can't get a good caramel ice-cream these days since every company seems to think that salty caramel is a good thing! Why do these companies mess with perfection?!

What once was – This is a horrid tasting ‘ice cream’ when it first came out years ago the chocolate was rich Belgian, the ice cream thick and creamy and the caramel in the middle was luscious. Now the chocolate is brittle, ice cream watery and the caramel has a icy texture and chemical taste. icy "caramel" and tasteless manufactured ICY watered down ice cream. Overly sweet yet somehow tasteless. Marketed as premium but truly, this is bottom of the barrel stuff. First Magnum in years, I'll stick with Connoisseur thanks – I stopped eating Magnum years ago due to the shrinking sizes. Tasteless – Been a while since I had a magnum ice cream period. I remember how yum the chocolate and icecream used to be.. not anymore, the Ego was tasteless. I won't buy them again.
