I bought a Gigabyte RX6800 XT Gaming OC graphic card from them when there was not a lot of supply availbe. the shipped it as advertised, withing 24 hours. the packaging was done very very very well safe (I mean box, bubble wrap, box again type of packaging). all together, good experiance
Awful Customer Service
Received my order and most parts were in perfect condition except for 1. It wasn't working and would be considered Dead on Arrival. Emailed them, they responded once asking for the serial number on the faulty product and now they have not responded in days, even after multiple emails requesting an update. Their phones aren't being manned either due to COVID, so just pray you don't need to communicate with their customer service team.

Ordered a product and after paying for it I realised that the image and the description were different.
Contacted them, worst support ever, no answers for days. I tried to mediate the situation with them, they didn't even answer. Every time I had to open a new ticket to get an answer.
Despite of the fact they says "Dispatch in 24 hrs" after a week not even answers.
Cancelled the order, got a refund.

Normally if I get bad service, I'll just take my business elsewhere, although this time I wanted to express a warning for others.... never order from this company.
A week after ordering, still no shipping advice to get an item from Sydney to Brisbane. Yeah, it's COVID and everyone is working from home, although other suppliers are able to ship overnight just fine, even from Melbourne.
Two weeks after receiving and following up with multiple emails, finally received some of what I ordered with no notification on partial shipping or what is ha...ppening with the other items. As for customer service, will can't call them, as everyone is working from home, and looks like they can't figure out how to forward a number. Email responses take days. This is one supplier who really needs to re-evaluate using express in their name.

Made 2 purchases with duplicate items. Trying to reach out to the support to modify or cancel the order immediately. It takes ages for the support to respond, and when they do, they are not helpful at all, even if the items are still in their warehouse and I state clearly I am 100% going to return the wrong items. Bought new parts for PC upgrade. All arrive timely, works beautifully, no dramas.
Shop with SE twice now. First time in 2019 just an RTX2070. No dramas there. 2nd time in September 2020, I purchase several PC parts valued 1300ish to upgrade my 10 yo PC to give wife for editing videos.
Did tons of research on parts and where to shop. Even checked out this product review before purchasing.
My honest opinion. There will always be a risk when purchasing the cheapest priced products online. Be it SE or other places. You need to factor in several things. Like the actual item (what are the odds it comes faulty), how long the co...mpany has been around, past experience, manage expectations, and other things. Haven't dealt with customer service before, so can't comment on that. Nonetheless, I got my parts at the lowest price I could find, all working, so I'm happy.
Refused to replace item. Issued refund then told us to rebuy item at $250 higher price.
Bought a TP Link AX6000 wifi router. Item had niggling problems from the start, but after one of the ports went, and a few months later the router stopped working it was time to claim on the manufacturer’s 3 Year warranty. TP Link issued an RMA, and told us to contact the seller. Seller was issued with their own RMA and we have email confirmation going both ways that a replacement item was what we we wanted. Item was shipped (at our expense ($30)) to seller.
With no communication from Shallothead/Shopping Express, a refund was issued. Seller h...as stock of this item and is still selling them on Ebay and through their Shopping Express online store. When we contacted the seller we were told to repurchase the item if we wanted a new one. The item is now $250 more expense than when we bought it. At present the manufacturer is pointing at the seller. We will be approaching consumer affairs next. This is a blatant attempt to make an additional $250 off us, not including the postage we had to wear to return the item to them.
Great price and quick delivery
I was on the hunt for an entry level graphics card for a new PC build. After checking all over the internet found Shopping Express to have the best price by far. I ordered an ASUS 1650 Super graphics card on Thursday night (17th Sept) and by COB Friday there was a tracking number and email from Australia Post stating it was at the Sydney Collection Centre. I received the card today (Tuesday 22nd) at my home in SEQ. I have had bad experiences with other computer vendors (I waited almost 8 weeks once for a monitor from a so called 'reputable' dealer) but am very happy to have found Shopping Express.....I will use again.
Poor communication, inability to cancel an order without hassle
I ordered a pc part via the ebay linked provider futu online. I realised within 5 minutes I had ordered the wrong variation and I sent a cancellation request, which was not responded to until after the item had been sent. I was told to decline on delivery. As a result, I declined to accept the item on delivery, which was then returned to the dispatch address. However, now I am told they cannot find the item, and never received it. Australia post records clearly show it has been delivered. If you need to return stuff, good luck.

I just wanted to cancel my order...
20 minutes after i ordered a cpu from the site i realised i didnt need the part and went to cancel the order (this was on a Saturday). 2 days later they get back to me asking "am i sure" and then i get an email saying it has been posted that afternoon (the following Monday).
So i asked them to redirect the postage so that we dont waste time and i can refund the order, they say i have to contact aus post to redirect, so i did, Australia post said to me the person who sent the item can only re direct. I let them know they were wrong and that they...

Their product offered a free game with purchase of their product, after emailing them they were unable to provide the promised redeemed product as they say it is a redemption with a third party. After liasing with both companies they managed to provide me a redemption of the completely wrong (unwanted) product. Annoyed with the month of correspondence email I have requested a refund instead, but they claim my refund is based only of a change of mind so I am not entitled to the full amount refunded and I would have to pay for my own postage.
I ...don't doubt there have been some issues with the third party site not living up to their promises however the only reason I bought their Galax Geforce 2060 was for the promotion Shopping Express advertised for a free game download. If you advertise it as part of a deal and do not honor the product I feel cheated, I understand some companies make mistakes but to be completely unempathetic and reject the claims for a full refund or also ask for postage after having made very expensive purchases seems completely unethical.

Praying for not having any kind of issue after purchasing from them or your nightmare would start. I don't really want to repeat how friendy or rude their staff is, Just remeber there would be a reason that they have such a low price

Delivered Broken ASUS Vivobook Laptop X509JA-EJ159R
Purchased the brand new Asus Vivobook X509A-E159R. Opened the unit and was unable to use as screen was showing random picture. Contacted the team and nightmare getting them response from them. Someone got back to me [name removed] from support and I provided all the details requested but having so much difficulty getting them either give me refund or replace the unit. I am lost what are my options to get them to do the fair thing. One unhappy & sad shoppingexpress buyer

Is there any possibility of any connection, association, affiliation, or common antecedents between Shopping Express and a company called Shoppingsquare?
They appear to operate from the same general area of Sydney, close to the same suburb it seems?
They have similar selling formats, sell the same type of goods, advertise goods "in stock" when the goods are "not in stock". Both engage in heavy "spam" type advertising, and certainly appear to treat customers in the same way.
I am not suggesting that they have any real connection, but because of the unfortunate similarities in location and operating methods, I am just asking if any one has any evidence to suggest that a connection is a possibility.
It would be an unfortunate coincidence if we have two separate, unrelated, on line organisations, marketing the same type of goods and who have evolved at the same time and place, and with the same or very similar attitudes to advertising, delivery and customer support.
Don't know about Shopping Square but I have been to Shopping Express premises in Botany Road, Alexandria concerning a non delivery and they are associated with KS Computers at Auburn, Sydney, NSW. I was given the goods by Shopping Express but the invoice said "KS Computers". Recently I ordered some SD cards from KS Computers, and received delivery notification from "Shallothead" and the goods were delivered by Shopping Express. I have bought several items from both companies without any problems.
Interesting that these clowns are associated with KS computers. I ordered a hard drive from KS, thinking that it was in stock. What they actually meant was, it was in stock with their suppliers. Once the suppliers delivered it to them, they would deliver it to me. It toik a lot longer that I had hoped. Both companies are on my naughty list now.
1 - why wont you respond to my emails, calls, posts? (This is not good enough when you sold me a product which does not work)
2 - why would you treat a customer like this?
