There was no tip on the actual pen and cannot work out how the spare tip actually attaches? Tried pushing it into the plastic section on the top of the pen, but will not insert?

I don't have the pen handy at present, but I suspect yours might be faulty. Has the tip been pushed too far in?

Absolutely no tip....just the plastic open hole where the liquid comes from
