Very poor over the phone service. I wanted to purchase a $200 gift voucher (birthday gift) but experienced such an off hand SIR salesperson who was both impatient and rude……Hence I did not make the purchase. Very disappointed!

clearly stated I followed all correct care instructions. They mentioned they needed to “investigate further” what more is there to investigate when my entire outfit has blue run through it?

Great customer service! – I rang head office at 3pm on a Thursday afternoon as my daughter didn't have a formal dress for the next evening. For a small cost they couriered me two dresses by 5pm that night! She didn't end up wearing them but I dropped them back at the store and within 24 hours they had contacted me with a full refund. They were so helpful and lovely, the clothes are great quality and I would definitely go to them first next time. Show details
Good customer service via email – I bought a dress but mistakenly put click snd collect. I had no email confirmation of purchase which was weird but the money came out of my account. You cant ring you have to email. When the dress hadn’t arrived I emailed and discovered I hadnt added postage. They invoiced me then for shipping and the dress was sent to the closest post office rather than to my home which was a bit annoying. Show details
GREAT GIFT CARD – When I had a problem with printing off a gift card, I I contacted the Customer care team and their response was immediate and I was able to complete the task. The team was both helpful and professional. Very grateful!

Measurements wrong – Only a credit note provided for a dress with a length of 149cm and dragging on the floor. No reply to emails, had to call 3 times which they said emails are "down".. finally got a return label email. Poor quality and poor communication. Show details
Measurement Question – I sent a very specific request for bust and upper arm circumference measurements for the Esme shirt as it was on sale with no returns. The measurements given were bust 58 cms, waist 58 cms. Clearly this is completely incorrect. Anyone with even a rudimentary knowledge of clothing would immediately recognise this could not be correct. No measurement was given for the upper arm. So overall asking for help from customer care was useless
Size difficult to get correct – The product is lovely however the sizing didn’t work at all. As it was on sale and not in stock in another size, I am unable to return it, even though I think the size guide is incorrect. The product is “oversized” however it doesn’t look like that on the models. I have to buy something with my credit note, however I will not be purchasing from this store again Show details

had to navigate through to work it out. However, I did email an inquiry relating to an exchange, and the email response was much more friendly and helpful. The bottom line is the exchange is done as part of the return process ... but needed to go through the process to work that out. Received my exchanged item smoothly after that, and love the quality and fit of the product (once I exchanged for an alternative size).

I was pretty upset as this email chain went on for over a week and if I had been able to just exchange it in the first place I would have most likely been able to get that size. I understand it was a sale item but it did state I’d be able to change the size if necessary and at the time I attempted that, it was available, so the prospect of spending more money to have a tailor -hopefully- alter it upsets me. The dress is gorgeous but it is just bigger than the size guide and measurements stated.
Poor quality – I was really disappointed with the quality of my product and customer service received. After 1 wear and a few dry cleans, the draw string broke apart and the colour of the dress discoloured and faded. The customer care team were not helpful and blamed the dry cleaner. they have refused an exchange or credit note, even though I explained the issue. This was a waste of my money and time, and I don't know what to do with the dress now. It's very disappointing and I'm unlikely to purchase SIR again.
Flat Postage Fees are not in line with what they should be… – Flat rate sending back a return at $15 is pretty exy… when I questioned this with customer service team they were pretty defensive. Won’t be buying online ever again!

Helpful service – I ordered a dress in the sale. I felt the fit was too small for a size 12 (3). I’m a 10-12 in most clothes. Asked if I could exchange for a size 4 but they didn’t produce the dress in that size. I was offered a credit note or exchange for something else. I decided to keep the dress. A+++++ Service (for a first time buyer) – Amazing service, prompt response. Ordered an item and through my error selected pick-up at warehouse, instead of posting out. Customer services replied with 1hr to advise they would dispatch my order out via express post and arrived the next day. A+++++ and highly recommend to order from this great retailer.

Beautiful customer service and my go-to brand for events and vacation wear – Their customer service team was so friendly and prioritised my order so I could receive it in time for my event. The most beautifully made clothing and flattering designs, my go-to for event dressing and vacation wear.

Then, my partner ordered in a dress for my birthday and the staff failed to tell him they had changed the cut and fabric of the style, so when it arrived and wasn’t what we thought, we tried to return it just hours later. Fast forward a whole MONTH of staff lying about it not changing, dodging our emails and then eventually giving us a refund, I have vowed never to buy from a brand who has such bad customer service values.
Terrible quality and customer service – Lovely designs but the quality and customer service is appalling. it's not our problem, you damaged the item! I responded saying I wasn't even asking for a replacement I just wanted their suggestions for how to get the stain out seeing as the instructions they provided on the care tag didn't work. They took ages to respond and when they did they said basically they can't help me, to try taking it to a different drycleaner. I've never had such bad service from a higher end label - they are all normally so accommodating and helpful for these kinds of issues. Surely it's not ok to be selling clothes that cost $600 and you get dirty once, and can never wear them again? In any event the set is currently with another drycleaner who told me it's doubtful they can get it out due to the type of fabric of the garment. If I had known that this type of fabric doesn't allow you to remove a stain, I definitely would not have purchased this item. Just awful customer service, leaves a really bad impression.
Extremely Poor Quality – I have purchased 2 dresses from SIr. The designs are perfect for hot Spanish summers. Sadly the silk fabric they use is of extremely poor quality. After wearing each dress once they look old the silk has lines running through it & it has lost its lustre. I am too far away to send them back. Don't buy from their website - they don’t honour their return policy !! – I purchased a swimming suit bottom for $120 and their website stated you could return this provided the hygiene seal was left on. I tried on for 30 seconds, then took it off and organised a return the very next day. They are refusing refund because they say that there are white marks on it. their problem. One of the very few brands that would take this approach as most high end Australian labels have amazing customer service and take pride in the quality of their products. Also rated as a label to avoid by the 'good on you' app for poor sustainability.
