Skinstitut Rejuvenate 15 Serum Questions & Answers
I use multiple skinstitut products. I have no problems except when I use rejuvenate 15. When I put this serum on, my skin instantly burns. It burns for about 5 minutes. Is this normal?
Why is Rejuvenate able to be used around the eye area?
Hi, I use a number of skinstitut products and Ive woken up with extremely dry flakey skin around my chin mouth area. It looks like Ive been burnt and peeling and thats definitely not the case. I use the cleanser (always use this and never have a reaction) and the enzymatic peel and rejuvenate 15 serum, Im thinking its one of these two products? Does either have a history of making your skin dry and flakey
Hi there its sounds like you may have been dehydrated prior to using enzymatic micro peel Which means your skins natural protective barrier was compromised in those areas causing a slight reaction. I would recommend you avoid applying enzymatic micro peel on the area until the dry/peeling and redness has stopped and you have helped the hydration in that area. Rejuvenate is great for this as is repair balm (as long as you dont have acne prone skin) give your skin about 1-2 months then reintroduce enzymatic micro peel once a week. Be sure to use sunscreen at all times
I have blemishes and acne on my skin. How effective is this product for the acne prone skin?
I use other products like the Skinstitut glycolic scrub to treat my acne. But for hydrating acne prone skin without clogging pores or irritating acne further- this product is terrific. I found it soothed my skin when it felt congested and 'angry' with acne.
Is Rejuvenate 15 all you need to use after skin needling?
Regards Irene
Hi Irene, That's a great question Irene, yes initially that is the best serum for you to use morning and night post treatment along with age defence SPF 50+. There after depending on what skin condition/concern you are treating there may be other skinstitut products that will help accelerate your results.
