development of lower back pains and aches of our shoulders/neck after the mattress sagged within months. This led us to back to Chiropedic ending (Bed in a box shop) to try the ‘Sleep Firm.’ The staff their were so knowledgeable and gave us confidence to try the ‘Sleep Firm’. We haven’t looked back, in fact, from day one, my ruined back started to straighten out. Although initially very firm, it is now about two months old and I feel that the bed is more flexible allowing the mattress to contour to my body without any sagging. It’s perfect. My partner agrees too, stating he feels that his lower back pains are gone. My sleep quality and duration has also improved since having the mattress but it did take about 3 weeks to get used to it. I feel that this has been a worthwhile investment and I can already tell that this mattress will last the distance. It’s a very well made mattress and one of the very few that have been endorsed by the Australian Spinal Research Foundation. It definitely has our vote.

Which is exactly what it is advertised to be and personally, we like a firm mattress. So it's not a problem for us at all, but I could see someone buying it and thinking it is too firm. But that would be more of an issue with them choosing the wrong mattress rather than any issue with the product.

Price wise, we were recommended to visit a mattress store when we were having trouble with the old mattress. Their mattresses started at $2700 and went up from there. The sleep firm came in way under that so in my opinion is excellent value.

All in all, very happy with the purchase and I would recommend it if you are a larger framed person who gets sore overnight.

This is an excellent mattress that deserves a 5 Star rating, except for a lack of grip straps on the sides, which is quite odd to be missing from a king size mattress (54 kgs in weight). I'm 179 cm tall and 92 kgs heavy, and tend to sleep on my back or sides, and after having slept on this mattress for the past few nights, it is amazing how rested my body feels in the mornings! Ordering the mattress online was as easy as it could be. Delivery happened around 10 days after ordering it. I'm based in Sydney, and believe their factory and warehouse is in Victoria, so if you're in Victoria, you may get it sooner, and if in other states, it could take longer. Delivery was smooth, and the process of unpacking (even for one person alone) not that difficult. I took advantage of their End of Financial Year discount, as well as using a discount code offered by the bedbuyer website, and believe got a great deal (AU$1154). The top layer makes the mattress very comfortable, but since not detachable to be washed, you'd need a suitable mattress protector for it. I bought a Protect-a-Bed Tencel Signature Series, and overall very happy with my choice!

Perfect firmness and coolness – We love this mattress, we had an Emma Mattress and it wasn’t firm enough and replaced it with this mattress. Great Mattress – I love this mattress. When we first set it up and I sat on it, it was pretty firm and I was worried that I made the wrong choice, but I had the best night's sleep that night. have followed the “spinning/turning” instructions in terms of frequency but find this task difficult as there are no “handles” on the sides of the mattress.

Amazing! – This mattress is amazing if you are after a firm mattress! It took about a week for my body to adjust, initially it was quite firm but it has softened slightly without sagging. I’m a back and side sleeper and it feels comfortable in both positions. Good firm mattress – We've had the mattress for a couple of months. It's very supportive, no sagging so far which is great. Initially we thought it was too firm but that was just compared to the very soft mattress we were using before. No more sore backs. Delivered rolled up. Good value firm mattress – Accurate to the label! Very firm - great for back-sleepers but can be a bit sore on the shoulders for side sleepers. Can't feel any movement when my partner is restless though! the next day and after about 5 months it's maintaining all the support, no sagging and the edges stay firm. We both love it, the company seemed good to deal with and now we don't need to look at anymore mattresses, phew to that, it was driving us nuts.
