We bought a medium firmness mattress. Within 6 months it had visibly sagged and become too soft. The manufacturer told us it was normal wear but it was as saggy as the 8 year old mattress we replaced. We had it remade as a firm mattress and again within a couple of months it has noticeable sagging on each side. We've had 4 or 5 good quality… Read more

Terrible sagging of the brand new sleepeezee zone sleep firm mattress within 2 years of buying it new. I am 90kg and the middle has sagged and led to back hip and shoulder soreness. When following up on a warranty it has taken 6+ months for the rep "Rod" to finally make an appearance to look at the mattress when the store I bought it from already… Read more

Please be advised that the mattress in question appears to lack a comprehensive warranty. Furthermore, the product exhibited premature sagging after one year of use, and the manufacturer attributed the issue to localized wear. Considering my weight of 80 kg, it is unlikely that the mattress was subjected to excessive stress. Show details

Worst bed I’ve bought in my 45 years of being an adult – We bought a king size Sleepeezee mattress 5 months ago. It has already failed and has huge 35-40mm depressions where my wife and I sleep. We are not large humans….I am 90kg, my wife is 60kg. Sleepeezee state that 50mm depressions are normal and that our mattress depressions are normal. They further state that our base is the problem because the… Read more

slats are spaced at 75mm apart rather than 50mm…..our base is rock solid….I can stand on a single slat and the slat doesn’t sag at all. Do not buy a Sleepeezee mattress….they are extremely poorly made, their customer service department gaslights you at every opportunity, their warranty is useless and the mattress fails in record time. If I could have given a negative rating I would have. I am extremely surprised that the major retailers like 40 Winks carry this product….it is extremely damaging to their reputation.

If I could give a 0 I would!! – Purchases a mattress with a 10 year warranty, and 4 years after (not even half the warranty) it massively sags in the middle. Put a warranty claim through with Bedshed Beckenham and said there was no record with it with sleepezee. Very little confidence in this company already. Show details

Complained and sleepeeze said its normal for it to sink 2 inches, and tough luck ! BEWARE - These are poor quality mattresses ! Do not waste your money. Show details

" ENHANCE " mattress sagged after 8 months – Bought the Firm Enhance mattress from Bedshed Hoppers Crossing in december 2020. It started sagging on the side i sleep within 8 months of use. The supplier Sleepeeze wouldnt honor the warranty as they claim i should have rotated the mattress every 2 weeks for 3 months and then every month after that ! the mattress caused pain in my hip to the point i couldnt sleep in my own bed.

It’s almost as if they expect us to keep their mattresses as showpieces and not actually sleep on them. According to them, if you sleep on it, sagging is "normal"! Completely unacceptable quality and customer service. Very disappointed.

Do not buy a mattress from this company – Purchased a $4999 super king mattress that became extremely uncomfortable after 18 months. Horrible – It's an absolute nightmare dealing with sleepeezee or forty winks. We complied with everything to keep our warranty valid. We got the mk2 versaille silent partner which is valued at 9k before discount, we paid 5k for it. This has been the worse mattress I've ever owned. The mattress seems to absorb your body heat and the mattress gets piping hot… Read more

and it takes about an hour without you and without bedsheets on for it to cool down. It is beyond ridiculous. I thought this would have been a defect as a mattress this price should not cause an issue like this, surely! But got told by forty winks to contact sleepeezee to make a claim and then got told that there is no fault with the mattress. So neither forty winks nor sleepeezee will take any accountability for it and it's left me feel entirely ripped off. I will never buy from them again and neither should you.

Extremely exasperating – We purchased our bed base, and mattress from forty winks on 29/7/ 2021. severe back pain for my wife. Their response was that we were required to contact the makers, " Sleepeezee " which we did only to be advised that it was probably be due to the base. Neither Forty Winks or Sleepeezee would accept or admit any liability. We have persevered with this mattress until now. This situation has left us with no other alternative and MUST purchase a new bed as it is no longer tenable to be able sleep on this mattress any longer. We would definitely not deal with Forty Winks or Sleepeezee ever again.

of terrible sleep. Always rotated. Bed looks brand new, but the lack of support this mattress gives is terrible and it has completely smashed my back for the last 12 months. There are just too many other brands for you to choose from to waste your time and money with SLEEPEEZEE.

They also approach their customer care and warranty claims from a "how can we get out of this" standpoint from the word go too. No matter how much information and photos you provide it's a complete waste of time, you're talking to someone who couldn't care less about your warranty claim.

If I can save one person from wasting their money, this review was worth it.

Worst mattress ever, should've read these reviews before my purchase – The mattress sinks/vortexes towards the middle to the bed while sleeping. Avoid!!! Buyer Beware!!! – We purchased 2 Sleepeezee queen mattresses from Bedding Barn. We'd looked around, and, after Shawn the owner told us they were made in his own factory at Padstow we were happy to support a local business, and Australian made. sealed plastic covering. They were the "Nexus" line and really comfortable yet still firm. After delivery my son slept on his mattress first and said his back was sore next morning. We then noticed that the tag said manufactured in Melbourne! After opening the 2nd mattress we found the tag and this one was made in China! We went back and spoke with Shawn and asked for a refund, as neither mattress was as described. He gave us some long convoluted story about beds that have more than 70% materials from China must have this, but when further questioned about the other mattress he went quiet. With regard to a refund he said it will never happen, I said I'll take legal action and he said go for it, we'll find himself and Sleepeezee have covered themselves. Also during this visit he gave us the warranty cards not provided to us at purchase. This is another by-story, Sleepeeze warranty terms void just about ANY warranty claim, eg. any sprung wood slat bases aren't covered- which are about 90% of beds, slats must be unsprung and about the size of logs to be covered, and less than 7cm apart. I filed a complaint with NCAT and he was ordered to replace the made in China tag-sorry, bed with a made in Australia bed, again, with with the adjudicator he couldn't string two sentences together without contradicting himself from the previous one- I was nearly going to quote the story about some people not being able to lie straight in bed. Meanwhile, after being told twice by Sleepeezee we had no warranty claim as the mattresses showed no faults-I guess meaning no springs popping out in the photos, an inspector finally agreed to visit and inspect them. Then Sydney went into lockdown again and I figured it's a very subjective thing and unless both mattresses were beside the shop model it would be near impossible to prove they were sub-standard. My guess is you try-out their 'Nexus' $1850 model instore and then are delivered a $500 quality one. By the way, his store has permanent signs out front advertising all of their products as proudly Australian made, lol. if the owner happens to read this review, don't be suprised to see 'Under new Mangement' signs out front. There are a ton of reputable companies out there, save yourself money, time and hassle and shop elsewhere.

Silent Partner Versailles Mattress and Silent Partner Provence Mattress – Purchased the above 2 mattresses just 3 years ago, very expensive, however was happy to spend as they described the mattresses as the roll Royce of the mattresses. via the company where I purchased it from, and got through to customer service of Sleepeezee and finally they decided to pick up the mattresses for repair. They initially tried to blame the base we had, noting that one base was completely flat, and yet blamed that. Anyways they took it away for a week (with no replacement etc), and sadly when it was returned, it was actually returned with a further fault. On calling back, they wanted it back again to fix it, and when i expressed my disappointment, they actually belittled me and made me feel like they did us a favour by repairing it in the first place, and went on to express how much it would have cost etc., such a disappointing experience all round. Mattresses are highly priced and the 10 year guarantee is of no use, whatsoever, as they try every avenue to blame it on you and avoid the guarantee, but more so, they try and repair it with no quality checks whatsoever. I even wondered if it was my mattresses repaired and returned, it really validated for me that the company has no quality checks in place whatsoever. Now we are actually looking for a new mattresses that actually is good and value for money. Very disappointing.

Overpriced mattress for one made in China – I bought a Sleepeezee Queen, Champs-Elysees (Plush) mattress which RRP at $2,200 and I picked it up at $1,500 from a Sydney Bedding Store with large discount on offer. Very unhappy. We've been ripped off and warranty is a joke – Don't buy a matress from here! I am extremely disappointed. We splurged on a luxurious matress. We paid just under $2000 (40% off!!!) husband and I. We wake up every morning stiff and have lower back pain.

We are young, fit people. In our late 30's, my husband's a PT and we both exercise 3-4 times a week. It's not as if we're overweight and have put too much preasure on the matttress. We weigh 60 and 89kgs. At our age and fitness level, we shouldn't be feeling sore or have pain!

We know it's the mattress because our pain has come on in the last 12 months....both of us, with no change to our lifestyle. Plus my husband is in that much pain, he's been sleeping in the spare room on our ordinary 15yr old spring mattress to see if it makes a difference. He's been in there for 1 week and has noticed a difference in his back!!!!!

So are you telling me, your luxurious high quality, new technology mattress that we spent thousands on doesn't last as long as an old fashioned, basic spring mattress that cost under $500?

That is terrible!!!!!!

Your 'warranty' is a joke!! I knew that you would try and get out of helping me! Why have it if you're not going to easily honour it?

I did everything your very in depth warranty email asked me to do.

Wanting me to pay for someone to come out and inspect my mattress is a bit rich!!! I am sure I'm not the only one to complain. I am sure you're aware of your mattresses good and bad points. Honestly, you are a big reputable company, this was one of the reasons we chose this mattress!!!! We did a lot of research before we chose this bed. After thousands of dollars and only 3 years later, I'm asking for help and you're fobbing me off. Is that what you should do? Shouldn't you help your customers so we write great reviews, we continue to buy from you and you stay in a profitable business for a very long time?!

Our matress is obviously sagging where my husband and I sleep. There is 2.5cm dips and we put a level on it and in some places the degree of slope is 6deg!!!!

I have sent you all the evidence, jumped through all your hoops and your warranty states this is 'normal compressions'?

It's not normal to be in pain. I'm very angry.

Why won't you help?

BedGear M2 - sags after 3.5 weeks. Won’t accept returns – We bought a BedGear M2 less than a month ago. It sags significantly even though we have been turning the mattress every week as instructed. been no answer on their hotline.

I feel that an $850 mattress shouldn’t sag so much that you can’t roll from one side to the other because of the hump in the middle of the bed. Really unhappy with the quality of the product.

EDIT(13/1/20): was contacted by Snooze today because of this review, they will have someone contact me shortly. EDIT(17/1/20): hadn’t heard anything so I called their customer support number. The woman forwarded my information on to my local store who should get back to me today after they speak to the vendor regarding a return. EDIT(22/1/20): hadn’t been contacted so I called my local store. Nothing had been raised with the vendor. I received an email later asking for photos of the mattress so they could forward that to the vendor. The vendor should get back to me quickly. EDIT (29/1/20): haven’t heard anything from the vendor or from Snooze as of yet. Contacted snooze again and the assistant said he would chase up for me. EDIT (30/1/20): Was finally contacted by the vendor (Sleepeezee) and was told “ Unfortunately as per our Bedgear warranty card the following is not covered under warranty: To any normal increase in softness in the foam. Which can occur during normal breaking in, or in lessening of gradual recovery aspect of the foam, which is not a defect in materials or workmanship and does not reduce the continual pressure reducing and pressure relief properties of the product:”

Snooze wiped their hands of it because it’s their policy to pass me to the vendor. Snooze don’t deal with warranty claims.

Sleepeezee won’t help because apparently sagging after 3.5 weeks is totally okay.

Basically, don’t buy this product, because it’ll sag so much you can’t use it and they will say that it’s completely okay after a whole month of using it.

Guess I’ll have to have a chat with consumer affairs and see where I stand.
