I wasn't sure whether to get a firm or medium mattress, I have back issues and am a side sleeper. I went with firm, knowing it could be changed if it wasn't working for me. It took me a few weeks to get used to it, but I am very happy, sleeping well and my back feels good. It is very comfortable while still being supportive. I love that it is firm on the edges too, the firmness is consistent across all of the mattress. Show reply
Overall very pleased with the sleeping duck mattress. They were quick to respond and send out different firmness section when requested, but if you didn't know it was available to ask, I couldn't find that much info on how to customise it to my preference. That being said, I love the mattress so far. I haven't had it during the summer so don't know if it is sleeps 'hot' but it is good now... Definitely getting better sleep. Show details · 1
Love the mattress! Love the pillows! However the bedding.. I love how they feel but the fitted sheet is completely see through? You can perfectly see the pattern of the mattress protector underneath. For such expensive bedding, it makes it look very cheap/poor quality. I think I will have to buy another mattress protector that is only white to put underneath so it doesn't appear so see through. Hi, so happy with it. It is so comfortable that is hard to get out of the bed in the morning. I’ve noticed less back aches , and I sleep through whole night, no longer waking up at random hours . sleep on the mattress due to an accident we phoned up 4 years later to get the top changed. I will not go into details of what we were offered, but once we accepted this offer which has the be the most unexpected offer ever, they then phoned us back, offered us something ever more mind blowing than I would ever of expected. My point of this review is not to go into details of what I was offered and then reoffered because they are a company and because they have offered us something due to our unique situation they should not have everyone asking for the same thing, but I am leaving this review because my other reviews have helped so many people over the years that I wanted anyone considering this mattress to know that not only is the 100 day sleep trial a real thing, without any hassles or guilty feeling but 4 years later they literally just gave me the best customer service I can ever recall receiving in my 40+ years on this earth. They did not just provide excellent service but after i had a million reasons to not follow up on that offer they gave me, they day I finally took them up on they offer they took all my excuses and reasons i hadn't pulled the trigger into consideration and made a very unique decision to our circumstances which is something I would never of expected, ever. 4 Years later and this level of service is just not something that happens. Their product really is a very special product, you are getting something better than 99% of mattresses I have ever seen in stores for a 1/4 of the price, but the service you get buying from them, the 100 day service you get is exceptional. Now 4 years later their aftercare service has proven to be selfless, kind, very caring and better than any level I have heard of. Carla is the rep we were dealing with and here I am feeling like she is just being polite over emails but probably just annoyed at me among her work mates and then I get a phone call that shows me how far she and her team go for their customers. You are insane if you are looking for a mattress and do not buy from Sleeping Duck. Even after 4 years the mattress has the same shape and the same support it had from day 1. The moment you have it on your bed frame and visually unzip to see all the layers they advertise, you know this is the best quality mattress you could of purchased. You will never look at those $4000 - $12,000 ones in stores the same again. It seems not only does SD offer half and half firmness but now they offer different sections for different painful joints as well. All for the same price and you can try it, change it as you need to. Right now is a very stressful time in our lives, and everyone is walking into a horrible time that is about to change the world. People compare what is happening now to a level only experienced in World War 2 and Sleeping Duck has put that to one side and opened their arms up to us and it is something we will remember for the rest of our lives. Honestly, I actually think their aftercare is so good that as I write this I am wondering if i misunderstood them. It does not matter how many stars these guys can be given, their product and their customer care is both a full 100%. Not even a tiny fraction can be reduced for them. If anyone has had a bad experience with them I would suggest you consider how you approach people in your lives because these people are only here to help you. Customer service are there to help you after you have made your purchase, not there to sell you something. So approach them with manners as everyone deserves and see how people respond.
Sleep perfect with a comfortable awakening happy and rested – I am a side sleeper and used to have neck and leg pains. Both disappear after using Sleeping Duck. The foam is firm and soft at the same time and perfectly blended. As for temperature, it is neither cold nor hot and maintains body temperature during the night. It is really great for sleeping. Delivery was painless and I had a special request to delay delivery to a country town in northern NSW which was also professionally handled. My only criticism is that on a hot night the mattress retains the heat and makes it uncomfortable for ME to sleep. For my partner, she had no problem. Overall. Great mattress. Great support. I will review again in 1 year to see if the dreaded ‘mattress SAG’ shows itself, my complaint about every other mattress I have ever purchased.

Follow-up · Delivery and setup were very efficient. No problems with temperature in either summer or winter. The only problem I have is turning the mattress every 3 months but I get my son-in-law to do that when they are visiting. It is still the most comfortable bed I have ever had.

Follow-up · Still loving my new mattress. You feel as though you are sleeping on your own with no partner movement. I am a side sleeper, the mattress suits me perfectly. Set up was very easy. The king mattress is heavy but with two of us it was no trouble at all.

response, and was sent, within 3 days (regional area) 2 extra firm inserts to change over to make the mattresses extra firm. I was also immediately emailed instructions, but it could not have been easier to change them over...less than 5 minutes for each, on my own and I'm not strong at all. We are extremely happy with the result and comfort level. It was interesting unzipping the layers of the mattress, you get to see how well it is made and the materials used. It really is great quality. We are going to swap all our mattresses over to Sleeping Duck mattresses, expecially when you can adjust them for free if you make a mistake. Thank goodness I am off the mattress merry-go-round because I have finally found the best....and no, I was not asked to do a review.

It feels plush to lay on, but you also get that solid feeling of support underneath which is a difficult combo to find in a mattress. The topmost layers are foam (which did concern me as I'm a hot sleeper) but unlike other foam-topped mattresses, it feels breathable but supportive. I love that you can remove all the foam layers to vacuum them, and their covers are machine washable - great for folks with allergies or if you have a spill. You can also replace these foam inserts and their covers down the track.

Purchased this in 2020 after years on a supposedly quality mattress from a big name retail store, which gave back problems. Problems went away after getting this mattress. Still using it 6 years later, no issues. Just remember to rotate it now and again. (Note you can't flip it, it has a fixed top and bottom with different materials). Show details · 1

supported. I don't like it, I don't get the hype, I wake up feeling like I've been hit by a bus and struggling to function in my everyday life. I don't recommend this mattress and don't understand what sleepingduck's commercial about having a steamroller roll over the bed even relates to. What's the point of showing a steam roller drive over the bed if it can't even support a 75Kg person.
The mattress itself is fine, but the way Sleeping Duck promotes replaceable foam components is misleading. The idea sounds great in theory, replace individual layers instead of buying a whole new mattress, but the replacement prices are so high that it’s almost the same cost as buying an alternative product. Very unhappy with the delivery service. The delivery guy left the mattress box in the rain. Even after request from my wife, he wouldn't even put it inside the house. My wife is someone who is undergoing treatment for degeneration issues with the back and even after explaining all that he left it outside... this is the first time a delivery guy has done that.... shame on you sleeping duck for skimping out on this.
Should use bit more professionalism in deliveries. This is already leaving a bitter taste without even opening the box.

My last mattress was a Koala and I liked it a lot. This Sleeping Duck mattress I love. I have lower back pain and when I eagerly climb into bed I just melt into my mattress. I can feel the support in places where I didn't know I needed support.
