pain. Started off as a niggle (thought it was old age aches!) but then it kept getting worse to the point that some nights I was taking pain killers to get some sleep. Then I lay in the middle of the mattress and could physically feel the mattress as it used to be. The conclusion is that the mattress has started to collapse. We then went out and bought a new mattress to get some sleep which is really good. Thankfully I have no pain at all. Initially Sleeping Duck were good to deal with at the start but after a few emails they wanted us to unzip the mattress and measure the thickness of various layers of foam which I believe is a nonsense as foam can lose its density but still maintain its overall shape and size. Sleeping Duck say it must have a dip or reduction of 30mm in thickness. Problem is it can look flat with no one lying on it, its only when you lay on it and fall into the middle you notice the crater. With a mattress weight of 65kg, its too much for us to do as they ask and now they are refusing to acknowledge the 10 year warranty without the 30mm test. We will now be pursuing them via NSW Fair Trade. I will never buy or recommend a Sleeping Duck product again, I really do not think that they are an ethical company.

up and looked longingly at it during the day. I decided on a early night to try out the new Sleeping Duck mattress and it did not disappoint. We both woke up after having a great night sleep. The mattress is firm with out being hard. It’s really so comfortable I don’t want to get up most mornings. I look forward to going to bed, I know it’s going feel comfy after a big day at work. My husband gets lower back pain and that seems stable at the moment. I read all the reviews before purchasing Sleeping Duck mattress (good and bad), but, I am really happy with my choice of mattress. From the time I placed the order to the quick delivery time, I can’t fault the service or the mattress.

The mattress itself is fine, but the way Sleeping Duck promotes replaceable foam components is misleading. The idea sounds great in theory, replace individual layers instead of buying a whole new mattress, but the replacement prices are so high that it’s almost the same cost as buying an alternative product. Our first SD experience was so good we decided to upsize to a king sized bed with a SD base & mattress. Result - even better sleep experience. Very unhappy with the delivery service. The delivery guy left the mattress box in the rain. Even after request from my wife, he wouldn't even put it inside the house. My wife is someone who is undergoing treatment for degeneration issues with the back and even after explaining all that he left it outside... this is the first time a delivery guy has done that.... shame on you sleeping duck for skimping out on this.

Should use bit more professionalism in deliveries. This is already leaving a bitter taste without even opening the box.

We loved our SD mattress for the first 3 years then we noticed sagging and both my husband and I had sore backs. Ive got to say it gets quite hot in summer too. I had the best sleep of my life last night on the sleeping duck mattress. I am a stomach sleeper, my previous mattress was far too soft, it would cause my body dip while I slept and I’d always wake up with a very sore lower back. Perfect comfort! – both my partner and I visited the Melbourne showrooms in Prahan and picked the firm king sized mattress. But we needed to wait until our other mattress was returned but it only took until the next day for the matress to be delieveried so we were very happy. Mattress so comfortable I could build a nest on it and never leave – Both my husband and I were nervous to spend such a large sum of money to end up with a fail. We were also worried the firm would be to firm, however with the return policy thought it was worth a try. From the first night in we loved it. Sleep improvement has improved. Heaven – We absolutely love our mattress. One year in and it’s as good as new. We tried the medium but it was was way too soft. An easy switch to the firm and it has settled over time and is absolutely perfect. Every time we go away we can’t wait to get home to our amazing bed. Terrible sagging after 12months – Purchased in 2020 and Loved the mattress to begin with, felt amazing. But after 12months significant sagging occurred and the mattress was so uncomfortable and started waking with a sore back. Contacted Sleeping Duck and they reluctantly sent out new inserts. again. I have to rotate the bed every two weeks now to make it bearable which is so frustrating. It’s beyond uncomfortable and so disappointing given the money spent.

This has happen with a second mattress that was purchased for my elderly mother. Sleeping ducks advise was to place the mattress on the floor for 1-2weeks to resolve the issue which was impossible for an elderly person, after which they charged for new inserts.again only a temporary fix.

On both occasions sleeping duck blamed mattress base for causing the sagging issue and claimed we didn’t meet their ridiculous warranty requirements. Don’t believe all the 5star reviews because it’s only good in the short term. Stay away if you want something that lasts more then 12months!!!

Inconsistent, 10 year guarantee not true – We bought one, after a couple of years it got all lumpy and they replaced it, as they said it shouldn't have done that. though it was an entirely different design, so we spent more money on the new top. So much for a ten year guarantee.

We find ourselves having to replace the top again, and they have changed the entire design again and also the sizing What used to be king is aparently now super king, so new top was way to small. Also the old topper had a foam backing, new one is just material because the foam has changed in the main design, guess what they won't accommodate for.

So even though we're still in the 10 year guarantee we actually have to buy a new mattress.

Pretty crappy
