This mattress replaced a Tempur that cost significantly more yet was nowhere near as comfortable. The Sleeping Duck has exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s clear that Sleeping Duck focuses on delivering true value rather than spending on celebrity endorsements. That probably helps keep prices reasonable while ensuring product quality and customer care stay front and centre. Many other businesses could learn from their example — from product design and promise, through to seamless transactions and thoughtful after-sales follow-up, everything has been brilliant. I loved my mattress so much that I bought another one for my son a few weeks later. He loves his just as much. In short: buy with absolute confidence and trust.

To their credit, SD customer service was tentative allowing me to swap to the firm inserts, hoping for better durability, but those also began to sink over time. By the 9 month mark, the mattress started losing irs structure that I found myself needing a massage every two weeks just to manage the discomfort. I kept waking up with muscle aches.

Sleeping Duck has great marketing but unfortunately, the product itself just doesn’t hold up. It deteriorates much faster than other well-established brands. In fact, a colleague recently gave me their 10-year-old custom mattress, and despite its age the difference was night and day—it made it painfully clear that Sleeping Duck was the source of my back pain. I do have a big booty so maybe it doesn't support people with big butts.

If you’re considering this mattress, I’d recommend putting your money toward a reputable brand with a longer track record for durability. And if you’re still within the trial period and feeling unsure, don’t hesitate—return it. I held onto hope that things would improve, but it never did. Speaking to the Op shops, they said they have had several SD in their store fronts.

Not sure at the start but new firmness is just what I needed. Great customer service! – I got the Queen Bed Mach 2 Firm bed and whilst it felt comfortable it didn't feel quite right. asking me if I wanted to try a different firmness and I was sent the extra firm option, and granted another 30 days sleep test. The new firmness was exactly what I needed, and I was told I did not need to return the other inserts. The customer service and follow up was amazing, and has totally converted me to a long term customer. I also love the removable washable cover, and the capacity to change the firmness of different sections of the bed as your needs change. I got this bed for a room that you will not be able to remove the mattress from easily. (It is upstairs in an attic type space with a small entry via a ladder. This means that I can get new inserts later down the track without having to remove the whole thing if I need to. I am now having a great nights sleep, my shoulders are feeling better and I feel confident that if I have any problems SD will sort them out. Excellent customer service, something that is rare these days!

materials is amazingand the engineering is second to none. The money I have spent purchasing a Sleeping Duck bed is worth every cent. The best investment I have ever made. I don't regret it and I plan to buy a couple more Sleeping Duck beds.

Comfortable, but wouldn’t buy again – While the mattress is comfortable, I wouldn’t buy it again. It’s insanely heavy. It’s actually ridiculous how heavy it is. It’s almost impossible to make the bed, and forget about rotating it with one person. It’s also hot. The nights are still in single digit temps here, but I’m waking up frequently from overheating. Terrible Experience – I purchased a mattress 8yrs ago & wanted to change the firmness. After several emails, a phone call & them knowing exactly what mattress I had previously brought they sold me two new foam pieces which I cant use then told me they are not returnable. Wanting to support Aussie businesses, I purchased a locally made mattress just before covid. Unfortunately it starting sagging within 2 years which exacerbated my lower back pain. I chose the firm setting, which suits me perfectly. Previously I had issues with my old mattress because of the back pain, with the new mattress it's gone. There's only one small downside, this mattress is slightly on hotter side, but nothing major. I absolutely love this mattress and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new one.

Was hesitant as I've never purchased a mattress before seeing it for real but honestly the best decision I've made in a long time and never looked back. Super comfortable and supportive. I couldn't be more impressed with Sleeping Duck. I bought the Mach II mattress and it's been a dream, I also asked for the firm and extra firm inserts which they sent to me so quickly and without cost. Their pillows are bloody amazing too, as I have multiple disc bulges in my neck. I find the mattress to be very comfortable and I feel that it has improved my sleep quality. So far it is winter, so I cannot speak to performance in summer heat. Fitted sheet tends to move a bit, so I have added fitted sheet holders to each corner. When making the bed, I find the mattress to be very heavy when straightening the fitted sheet along the long sides of the mattress. Pleased so far! Show details ·  1

Initially bought the firm queen mattress and found it a bit too soft and needed something a little firmer ( because of my lower back pain ) and spoke to sleeping duck , who without hesitation sent me a pair of EXTRA FIRM pads ( free of charge ) to fit in the mattress. But we fitted both the extra firm to both sides as my wife also has a medical condition, and now we are both sleeping much better. And the mattress hasn’t sagged at all.

I thought for a while that maybe they thought I was someone famous because the service was terrific. Someone told me they also found that experience. So, it seems they are just so great.
