offered a trial period is what sold us on taking the plunge. We initially tried the medium firmness but I personally found it too firm- SD messaged me to check in and I switched it out for the soft firmness topper (very easy to do with great step by step instructions provided). My husband kept his medium until he felt my side and then he too opted for the soft topper! 10/10 service and communication the whole way through and there was no extra charge for switching out the toppers- would recommend Sleeping Duck to anyone looking for a great quality bed and mattress.

frame, but we are still astounded at the quality of the mattress. We weren't sure whether we needed a KING!- but Oh Boy- yes it takes up a lot of room, but it's so nice to stretch out! PLUS and I guess this is what most people are interested in, the mattress itself is fabulous. We went with the firm on one side- medium on the other. I like firm, but I was a little unsure if it might be too firm. IT IS PERFECT. My wife likes the medium, and when I lie on it- I think- yeah I could sleep really well on that too! So far we have turned the mattress once and unzipped the top cover to switch the inserts to the other side- all worked as expected. There was a lot of discussion in forums about not being able to lift the corners to put the sheets on??? What- I don't think that at all. I was prepared to do this if it came down to it- however my wife did it easily! I know the mattress is not a 'budget' offering, but in this case you really do get what you pay for. We have had our king size mattress for about 8 years now. When we first got it I thought It was a great feature that we could buy a replacement top foam layer to suit our comfort preference. replacement foam layer, do any maintenance or spend any extra. It still in perfect condition and feels as good as the day we bought it. I've always been around 90 to 95 kg since we've owned it and I still love it. They say you get what you pay for well we have got plenty more than what we payed for as the mattress was very well priced for the incredible quality and build, the fact we've had ours this long and it's looking like we will get another 10 years we have saved so much money as a result. Best money we ever spent. We've also moved home twice and it's got convenient strong handles in good positions to easily move and carry it.

We found the medium ideal for us both. It makes us feel comfortable and supportive. My family members have a sleeping duck mattress aswell and they love it! I was impressed with the good reviews and how efficiently the company expedites the order and follow up. Show reply

After 2 weeks we found the firm mattress was too firm so after emailing you back, without hesitation you sent a medium insert out via Auspost which arrived in a week. We absolutely love our mattress it is very supportive and super comfortable. We would highly recommend your product and your company to anyone. Finally having such a good sleep!

time back and forth finally we accepted the loss as they keep asking photos and videos. And then when u provide the photos they say we need this. Photo and that photo inshort they harass you so much u quit ur self. The worst customer service ever, when you dont want to listen to the customer then why do you provide the warranty. sent soon, then later saying it’s in the Brisbane warehouse and will be sent soon. Yet nothing has actually happened.

As of the time I’m writing this review, I still haven’t received the firmness replacement. This level of delay and inconsistency is extremely frustrating and very disappointing. I expected much better service.

Not happy with the experience – The mattress has a soft, springy feel topper which seems to offer support up to maybe 5cm. However there is not much give beyond that. If you have broad shoulders, and sleep on your side, you may find it lacking in support. I slept terribly on it. They might say ‘money back guarantee’ but when I asked to return it, they pointed me in the direction of a charity to pick it up. I asked for the return, but Sleeping Duck and the appointed charity didn’t get back to me for around 3 weeks, and then I had to organise the charity pickup, calling them up to set up a time ‘somewhere between 10am and 4pm’. Well ok, atleast it’s gone to a charity, but they don’t tell you the stuff around you have to go through to get your money back. It just seems misleading and disingenuous.

it could be too hard, but no issues after a week. We now both love the firm mattress. We were initally concerned about assemblying ourselves, but no issue at all as long as there are 2 of u. The bed frame is incredibly solid and strong. We are awaiting the auto sheet refresh module, which was not available at the time of ordering. Given the weight of the mattress, we consider this is essential to make it easy to change sheets. We highly recommend the bed & mattress at what we consider to be a reasonable price.

We did a lot of research before we purchased Sleeping Duck. In all honesty I can say that this mattress really is worthy of its reputation as being excellent. Their delivery arrived fast and early. We recently purchased this mattress for our son and he absolutely loves it. He says it feels very supportive and comfortable, and he’s been sleeping much better since getting it. We moved our 9 year old Sleeping Duck to our airbnb. It was still soooo comfy, but decided to update to the new model for ourselves. Latest model just as Perfect as previous. LOVE IT! of medium softness and coil spring support to be amazing. It’s definitely better than previous mattresses we’ve had most of which cost a lot more. I hope the company continues to do well. It’s a great product and, so far, excellent quality.

We tried a bunch of mattresses in showrooms etc but this was so confusing! It was hard to tell the difference between them in the 10 min you get to lie on it in the showroom. phone call and the medium kit was on its way and a couple days later we were able to change the mattress firmness. It is now perfect for us. I really like the peace of mind of being able to change it after the fact in case it is not quite right.

Customer service was top notch and delivery time was very quick.
