Terrible after sale service – We request for a firmness adjustment for our mattress around mid December, 4 weeks later and no delivery. I've made two follow-up during this time and twice, no body got back to me with an update. Appalling!!! Show details

Could not try mattress as the fumes were toxic. SD said all the same and did not test it – Beware toxic fumes. The mattress was not even laid on so not worth one star Ordering and delivery was OK, but the mattress was full of toxic fumes. I was unable to remain in or near the bedroom. days after the mattress was returned to SD, our friends could smell the fumes emanating from an open door, some 9 metres away from the bedroom. It is now 12 days since the return. Despite constant airing, (and wiping slats with ti-tree oil) the room still smells of mattress fumes. SD refunded the money but did not want to know about or test the fumes. They would not exchange it for another, and stated all were the same. Another staff member cited differences in product off gassing. I don't believe anyone could have slept on this mattress. I did not even get to lie on the mattress.

Under 2 years old. Its had it! – Ok, it was comfortable when we got it and its ok now, 1 year 8 months in. BUT.....the bed is sagging massively both sides and I have turned it as specified. what I expected it to be. I have sent sleeping duck images of my bed today to show them. Its has lost its shape quicker than any other bed I have owned. Like I said, I cant say its uncomfortable now, but you get used to it you know. I wonder if they will honour the guarantee? I shall let you know.

June 3rd 2018 Update: This bed does NOT last very long

In the beginning this bed was great. Comfortable, a massive improvement on our last bed and good value, or so we thought. After a year and a bit, lumps and bumps started appearing, despite having been religious in the turning regime. I was offered by sleeping duck, a replacement for the top foam. The top foam is indeed the problem. Basically, if you are any way heavy (Im 18 stone), it appears that the turning is pushing the thinner foam into a fold, which has difficulty in going away, as the material that encases the foam resists against the second layers encasement (all inside the main bed which is accessible via a zip and not particularly easy). The only way to remove the lumps is to take the whole thing apart and this works for a while. But I have noticed the materials between the foams are rubbing against each other and causing the lumps to be harder to remove. This is a factual account, not someone just moaning for the sake of it. My wife absolutely hates this bed now. We have had it for two and a half years and now it needs replacing. So, NOT so good value now in my mind. Sleeping duck have offered to replace the top foam, and perhaps I should have taken the offer, but this will not solve the long term issues. I expect a bed to last eight to ten years, I think that is fair an average these days, but the problems started within one and a half years. I am disappointed,and would not consider this company again. You get what you pay for and this bed is cheap. It offers great comfort at first but in our experience it does not last.

Purchased a KS in medium, unfortunately I found it was a bit too soft; called customer support received a firm replacement layer within 2 or 3 days. No questions asked, professional, courteous, could not hope for better service. Happy with the firm; edge support could be stiffer, but overall very satisfied. Show details ·  1

Comfortable Mattress – Lovely, comfortable mattress much improved on my old one. I feel supported from edge to edge. I also liked delivery to door, though mattress is heavy the wheels on bottom of the box make it easy to manouver. One needs to heed warning on mattress (wrapped) to ensure room around for expansion. Graat suppprt for my growing teenage son – My son loves the new sleeping duck mattress. Gives him so much more support than his old store bought mattress. Only down side is it is now harder to get him up of a morning for his school or sports training Show details ·  1

Just a perfect mattress – Needed a new bed for the spare room for visitors, already had a Sleeping Duck mattress for us, so no contest, a Sleeping Duck for them. Very, very comfortable. Initially got sore hips with the medium mattress, (I had to sleep on it a few times) so I contacted Sleeping Duck and they sent me a soft insert, free of charge! is 190cm and 80kg - but it looks exactly the same as the day we unrolled it - no sagging, no pilling, nothing. Honestly, I was pretty skeptical about it at first but it's better than I expected.

Amazing Comfort – This is the first time in years my arthritis no longer wakes me needing to change position. My medium fitness appeared far softer than I expected, but I quickly realised this is only the topper, whilst there is really good firmness underneath. edge which sticks up or out unevenly when the bed is made-up the trim sticks up and the bed looks like it is sunken in the middle . All in all a good product let down by something very simple to rectify

too painful. My only disappointment was that I had to change my pillow. I have neck and back issues which will cause daily headaches without the perfect pillow. I think I have found a workable solution though it took many headaches and restless nights to find it.

My 4 year old son now sleeps through the night!! – I bought the King Single Sleeping Duck for my 4 year old son. Before this he would wake every night and want to come into our bed. months old itself. I went the medium option and although I’m tempted to try the free service to swap to a firm one, I feel it’s probably a waste of time as the comfort of the medium is devine. Never thought I’d find a mattress online at such a competitive price that is the best most comfortable mattress I’ve ever had. Will be buying another to replace our Snooze mattress.
