Indentation nightmare – Worst mattress! From the first night there is indentation which does not go away. We constantly rotate the mattress to no avail. It has two imprints of where we sleep with s bulge in the middle! It’s supposed to be a firm mattress but I find it quite soft. Show details

was causing me to overheat. The overheating would happen soon after I went to bed , so I put 2 thick French linen sheets on top of the matress protector. I still overheat…… even after changing the mattress protector to a cotton material. We had previously bought the most expensive ikea mattress, with no partner disturbance & wool topped for cool sleeping It was cool, comfortable & minimal partner disturbance for 11 years! My husband thought we should invest in a top quality mattress to help his back and neck , so we thought a $4000 mattress would last and give us a supreme level of comfort for 10 years. How wrong we were. An uncomfortable sagging , mound in the middle , hot….., partner disturbance sleep is what we now have. When you lie on your side awake, such as trying to read , your back gets sore , as you are lying tilted , and your muscles tighten. We were careful to rotate the mattress every 2 weeks, and slept well for 6-8 months. Then the indentations where we each slept began to be increasingly noticeable, and rolling over was no longer possible. You have to lift your whole body up to turn over, as you are stuck in the indentation. This act of lifting your whole body out of the hole to turn over , disturbs my sleep many times throughout the night. Deep indentations means that you have to try and position yourself in the same spot in an attempt to keep your back straight….its very difficult. We frequently wake with lower back issues.

I feel my husband turn over, as there is partner disturbance, even though we were given the sales pitch of minimal dusturbance . That is not true. We have recently put in a claim, including broomstick photos. I was then emailed 18 hours later and told to take more photos. We submitted more photos , including a spirit level , clearly showing the uneven tilts of the mattress surface. I received an email today stating I have nothing wrong with my mattress. I can pay $150 for them to take it away and test it. You only need to lie on the mattress to feel that it is faulty !!!!! So I will resubmit my photos showing centimetres of indentations, and the mound in the middle, of unuseable mattress. I will be contacting the Consumer line to report the incompetence and denial of faulty goods from Sleepmaker.

Great Mattress ! We are very happy – We purchased a Sleepmaker Cocoon QB mattress from Myer Sydney. David was great to deal with he was very patient with us and knew what he was talking about. We are very happy with our purchase. It is firm but comfortable. It took a few days to get adjusted to the mattress as our last one was very soft. The mattress doesn’t move either when my partner moves which is something I was worried about. Highly recommend!

Terrible. Most expensive and worst mattress I've ever slept on – Very lumpy and uncomfortable. Looses its shape within a few months of owning it. 10 year warranty is an absolute scam. Even after sending thru photos they want $150 to assess it for warranty. owned in the past haven't done that. The warranty people don't want to know you. Just send you standard emails saying you can send it in to be assessed for $150 if you want to. Wake with back pain every morning. Also wake at around 1 to 2am every night as the mattress gets unbearably hot. Very saggy and hasn't maintained its shape at all. Even under a thick doona you can notice how saggy it is. Cost us 5300 from Bedshed. Most expensive and also poorest quality mattress I've ever slept on. DO NOT BUY!!!

Hot bed – While the bed has good support it is not for me causing tossing, turning and interrupted sleep. Where the body meets the bed heat seems to pool and amplify. up against my body. The bed has a lot of foam. My purchase isn't even a 'plush' cocoon. My previous beds were not hot (even when i was). Myer doesn't do returns and Sleepmaker didn't respond to my concerns. I was hoping i could get used to it, but that is not happening. I am buying another bed. I need sleep.

Good mattress – Firm mattress that feels very supportive. Having comfortable nights sleep so far. Only downside is that both sleepers are still experiencing occasional overheating in the night, even with a change to cooler summer bedding. Not ideal as we specifically were chasing a mattress with cooling properties. Other than this issue, no problems with the bed. Sleepmaker cocoon fantastic mattress – The bed is fantastic. It’s very comfortable and provides great support for my bad back. My sleep has immediately improved since using my new Sleepmaker mattress.

retailer that this was the better mattress as I am a side sleeper and have a shoulder injury. This mattress also has a 10 year warranty which is comforting. It is also quite a high mattress and I now need a springboard to be able to get up onto my bed so make sure you measure how much higher your bed will be once you replace your existing mattress.

Best sleep ever – I bought the Majorca QB mattress and the hybrid mattress system has surpassed any mattress before. Great bed – Purchased the 'Revere Medium' of the SleepMaker Cocoon range. Still awaiting delivery but it was super comfy when trying in store, great support, medium firmness (which i like), with comfort as well.

Perfect comfort – The model we got was the Cocoon Revere 5 Medium. It gives the perfect density for comfort and minimises partner disturbance to almost nothing, due to the spring and foam combination.
