Started out good. 1 yr old and it’s crap – It seemed good to start with. 1 year on it has totally sagged into 2 canoes with a mountain in the middle. The mattress is quite deep, which has not worked with my base - so am glad that it has side supports as I am having to lean and shuffle to get in. Great mattress at a great price. comfortable and restful sleeps. There isn’t much movement felt when one of us turns which is very welcome.

I have some back issues but haven’t noticed much pain whilst sleeping on this wonderful bed. Normally I would take some Panamax to take the edge off the pain, but I haven’t done so since sleeping on this bed. I hadn’t thought about it until now.

Currently there is no sagging, we have been turning the bed every fortnight so hear.

We are very satisfied with the product and also the service including prompt delivery and will recommend Sleepmaker to friends.

Great compromise for my husband and I! – I like a softer top but supportive mattress and my husband likes a firmer mattress. This mattress so far is satisfying both our needs. My husband definitely sleeps better, waking without back pain. I like that I cannot feel him when he moves during the night. Worst mattress ever and dodgy COVID practices – We purchased a Sleepmaker Lifestyle medium firm in King size from Myer Brisbane CBD in mid 2020. There were issues from the day the new mattress arrived and it very quickly became apparent that it was faulty. We provided photos and video of the sagging mattress, however, without even inspecting the mattress, Sleepmaker rejected our claim, saying it was likely due to "fair wear and tear" or problems with our bed base. We went back to Myer and we got the runaround as their bed department staff are all Reps from the manufacturers. Eventually Myer insisted that our case be reopened and Sleepmaker took our mattress away for assessment. They found a 'minor fault', replaced the top layer of the mattress and returned it to us. The mattress immediately developed dips and sagging in identical locations as before.

The mattress delivery crew informed us that they were flat out every day picking up faulty new mattresses to take back for repair and the frequency in which loan mattresses were passed around to customers. So, we were very unhappy that Myer wouldn't handle OUR old mattress during COVID but completely happy forcing us to sleep on a mattress used by different people every week.

Now, Myer and Sleepmaker are insisting that we sleep on a dodgy loan mattress during the COVID pandemic, while they take the mattress away for an inspection and repair AGAIN.

Do not buy a Sleepmaker mattress. The quality is incredibly bad. What you get is different from the sample in the store and we WOULD NOT have purchased this mattress if we had known it would dip/sag. Nor would we have purchased it if we had known that it would require multiple/constant repairs. Be aware that Myer's bedding sales staff are actually reps from the manufacturers. Don't trust a word they say.
