Slim Nation Meal Replacement Shakes

Waste of money – These shakes may replace a meal but they don't contribute in any way to losing weight. If you really want to lose weight simply eat less and exercise more. It's not rocket science.

Unnecessary – I looked around a few weeks ago for meal replacement shakes to help with my attempted weight loss, and decided to try Slimnation. I have tried Strawberry, Caffe Latte and Vanilla. Since they have arrived, I have realized they are completely unnecessary for me, and believe they would not be helpful for most people. Each serve has 21 grams of sugar, so if you follow their "Accelerator" phase, you would consume 42 grams of sugar before eating anything else!

Most days I have only been eating one shake, but 2 days I have had 2, and both days have felt bloated and unwell. I have stopped losing weight since I started having the shakes, because although I am exercising I am not doing a huge amount, and am generally a pretty non-active person. The information on Slimnation website has mostly been helpful for me, but I think if you are able to substitute a healthy breakfast and lunch for the shakes in the accelerator phase, you will lose more weight and feel much better. When I started using the recommended quantities I discovered how delicious the shakes are! Especially chocolate. Add some ice and you get a deliciously thick shake - so yum! I cannot comment directly about weight loss results as I only have the shakes at lunch time, however I do know that they provide a quick and easy well-balanced meal for people on the go. I've heard that meal replacement shakes can constipate, but Slimnation definitely does not - lots of fibre. challenge with a hungry family)! But I think they are good value for money and I've had great support from the Slim Nation team who I feel really seem to care about my weight loss journey. I would definately recommend them, a great Aussie company. What's also great is the addition of 3 new flavours, so 6 in all to choose from! This helps alleviate the boredom that meal replacement diets can suffer from. The 3 flavours were all lovely, and now there are 3 new ones which is great to give more variety. The website is good and the online support has been excellent. Meal replacements can be hard to stick to as I do miss real food, especially at weekends, you need lots of willpower. I would also prefer it was available in single serve sachets for when we go camping.also wish it was available in supermarkets, as it's only online, and I work so I then have to collect from the post office which isn't always convenient.

This is perfect – This product is amazing. I tried this product for 1 month and I got amazing results. Everyone should try this. You will get the results after using this.

Didn't work for me – I've been using Slim Nation now for the past 3 weeks. The taste is great and I've had no trouble drinking these in replacing regular meals. Overall though, I haven't been able to drop any weight. I've been nothing but committed to the diet as well, sometimes supplementing up to 8 meals a day with shakes (a killer effort). to particular people however because I can say, no matter how many shakes I manage to drink in one day, I can't seem to drop any weight. My plan is to finish the diet to the very end though as it is still early days. For the upcoming weeks I'll try using double the powder per shake in the hopes to double the weight loss, but as I stated earlier progress seems doubtful.

On a side note the container is functional and the green logo looks cool.

April 23rd 2018 Update: The Semen Chronicles, Part 2: Greatest Memoir.

This is an update to my slim nation diet. Its been 3 years, 2 months, 22 days and 3,522 shakes since writing my original review. After consulting with my endocrinologist and personal friend/kayak-buddy life-mate (as suggested by slim nation), I decided to switch to 3 shakes a day as my only form of sustenance.

I know what your thinking:

John you absolute madman, Sir Tom Cruise himself wouldn't have such resolve,

you're an absolute ripper bloke.

And you'd be right.

I've gone from a disgusting 90kg scumbag to 30kg of dripping, raw, ethereal masculine power.

The first 6 months proved to be the toughest in my transition, but soon I had forgotten the taste of human food all together.

Within the first 2 years I had transcended the need for bowel movements; I had achieved what man has strived for since the beginning of time: Perfect Bio-Lubrication.

Now in present day I can proudly say all hair from my body has stopped growing... as if I've been chiseled from the same stone as David himself.

I've been dubbed the Gollum of Wulguru and I wont deny it, these slim fast shakes are precious.

Not sustainable – I tried this product for two weeks. I lost 2.2kgs over this time. Although the shakes tasted great, this diet really wasn't sustainable for me. I don't think it is healthy to replace meals with shakes as this product really doesn't have the same nutritional value. As soon as I replaced the shakes with healthy meals again I immediately gained 1.8kgs over the space of 3 weeks eventhough I was doing regular exercise and watching my calorie intake.

Yum and filling-exactly what you want – I ordered the slim nation shakes and am amazed at the delivery, so quick!!! The shakes are yummy as and filling, I have noticed since being on them I don't snack on junk food, crave soft drink etc. all I want is my shakes, healthy snacks and lots of water!!! I don't usually like shakes because it's a not a real diet but these are filled with lots of goodness and it promotes you to eat healthy and drink thanks Slim Nation!!

I'm really impressed! – I've only been drinking the shakes for a week, but I am 1.8kg down! They taste delicious...like, REALLY delicious! And keep me feeling full! Couldn't really ask for more! Good Meal Replacement.l – Have been taking this for the last couple of weeks, So far have lost 2 kg. This morning I added some home made fruit juice, water and Vanilla shake mix. Was delicious. Delicious and Filling – I have tried most of the meal replacement drinks on the market and Slim Nation's Meal is a bottle is by far the tastiest (I tried the coffee). Unlike my experience with the others it kept me fuller for longer which meant it was perfect for those busy days, where getting lunch is not always possible. I will be buying these from now on. Great Product – Ordered this product recently - love the flavours. I tried cafe latte and mango - they both taste really nice and filled me up. The cafe late is just like an ice coffee from my local cafe! It's good it's like breaky and my morning coffee in one. Delivery was fast and I have used the info on the website a few times. Green Tea Frappe – Recently brought Slim Nation Green tea frappe as I love all the products made from green tea. Normally I would just stick with chocolate and coffee but all four flavours have impressed me greatly. They are not sweet and blend up to be creamy which is most pleasant to drink. Am very content after having a shake and find I do not crave anything sweet mid morning. Awesome product and company that I would recommend to everyone. green tea frappachino - YUM! I think in the summer add some crushed ice on the coffee one and it's just as nice as an iced coffee in a cafe.

Highly recommended if you want to lose weight and have convenient, affordable support. Tastes good, easy to prep, affordable Need larger tub sizes.

What I like to do is add my cold water , a little crushed ice if available , give it a good shake and one has a convenient and enjoyable drink ready to go.

What even is more enjoyable is the 5 Kg lost in the first two weeks and down 3 notches on the belt.

It works – Have used Slim Nation for a few months. Losing weight and feel really good. I had to lose weight my GP told me to! Really like the vitamins and minerals in Slim Nation - seems to be full of them and really balanced. I always check the Fibre and Protien and its high in both of these. Mixes really well.
