second person rather than responding to this simple question asked my name & family name.! At the shop upon highlighting the issue the receptionist was determined to prove me wrong that this not just for people coming via car park but also for pedestrians. This resulted in loud exchange of words as I felt being intimidating and disrespectful just to prove me wrong. Sad episode from the start.
Amazing Service – I just had my very first free consultations with a smile guide lady named Maya. She was so wonderful, very welcoming and answered all my concerns. She really made me feel comfortable and really knows her stuff ! I am confident with smile direct that I will have straighter looking teeth in no time! Good In-Store consultation. Good online chat experience – This review is limited to the initial consultation and assessment only. I have attended the store front appointment for my dental scan a couple of days back. The staff was welcoming and there was no much waiting (it was only 1-2 mins. wait). Recommendations was made by the consultant. They gave away some freebies for me to keep. Overall very nice store front experience.
In regards to online customer service (live chat). The staff member was friendly and helpful. He sincerely attended my online request and it was fulfilled with any delay at all. Overall excellent online experience.
Things that require improvement with the store front staff :- They pressure you to carry out the COVID check-in formalities even if you have already in that process. Why can't they just see what the customer is doing before unnecessarily pressurising the customers to follow the COVID guidelines. It looks stupid to me.
Wouldn’t recommend – I initially was extremely happy with Smile Direct and was really excited, the pricing sounds amazing and the whole process sounds really incredible. ‘production’ without ever asking me what it was I wanted to fix or anything, I queried this and all they did was send me a tooth chart and asked me to tell them which teeth it was I wanted to be fixed. I don’t like that you don’t see their ‘team of dentists’ and so don’t know who is actually reviewing your smile and creating your plan, which I also queried if I could speak to their dentist and they just re sent me the teeth chart, almost every time I was speaking with a different person. And then on top of that, I was told they wouldn’t take the $299 deposit until I agreed with my smile and smile plan, later to find out that they took the money without me knowing from my account as soon as my initial smile plan was complete, when during my consultation they told me I had to give card details but wouldn’t be charged anything until I agreed, it wasn’t until I told them I didn’t want to go ahead as none of my questions were being answered, I was always talking with different people, the process was confusing and they were constantly sending me emails and text messages to go ahead that they told me my account had been charged and I was getting a refund that I then went back into my account and realised I was charged. Even after cancelling with them the text messages and emails were constant and borderline harassing saying my ‘smile was ready’ and to pay the $299 deposit so that they could begin production, I had to reply to each one unsubscribing or asking them to stop. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

visited could only offer me traditional braces, and although I wasn't bothered by the look, the price being in excess of $8000 had made the idea unobtainable.
Then in comes SmileDirectClub. It was an add on Facebook that caught my attention, and after a little research I booked in to go see the Team at Parramatta. Reception staff where fantastic, and the lovely lady at the front desk was fantastic and greeted me with a Smile (I often have anxiety going somewhere new, and she made it disappear in less than a minute with how friendly and genuine she was.)
The process was stupidly simple, everything was explained in detail and all of my questions answered. The process of scanning was simple but awesome as you get to see your teeth in 3D!
I have just gone through my albums over the last several years, and there is not a single photo of me showing my teeth that I look at and I like, I would like to give a Shout Out Himani (SDC Team Member) as during the entire 30 minute process she answered my questions, settled my concerns, and has put me on my smile path that I am so excited to get started on. Himani gets customer service, and her service was 5 Stars!
I never thought an add on Facebook for something that costs up to 60% less than traditional braces would actually be real. But here we are!
I am just starting my process, but expect a further review when I'm done :) !

So pissed off – After you pay all the money, they go bankrupt. You lose your lifetime warranty and cant obtain any further retainers or refunds and they still demand any direct debits to be paid in its entirety. Bloody joke! Would not recommend this company to anyone. Show details

Always a pleasure from start to continued care! – I required minute alignment fix and my journey has been great so far.
