Invisalign is an investment, SDC is a mistake – 1. Conned to sign up: Chadstone location. Asked "if" I was to go ahead what payment plan I'd likely choose, I gave my preference. (compared to 12mths invisalign). I am now almost 12 mths into SDC and still awaiting my third aligner plan to be made. 4. SDC 90 day photos. I got no response/feedback. Nothing to say on track or not. Evidently I was not. 5. Email from SDC to advise they sent me impression kit, $50 already taken from my savings. I never requested the kit. I emailed them dozens of times asking for a refund into my bank account. They continually ignored the refund request and said I'd get a debit card. This is not a refund into my SAVINGS! The card itself costs $3 out of the original $50 = $47 back ... or email an electronic copy for which funds can only be spent online - not transferred back to savings. This is THEFT! 6. They created and tried to send me retainers - when I had already started the process of requesting a second set aligners as the first came nowhere near the promised results. 7. They got my impression kit (I had to use it as the stores closed due to COVID and they only supply $50 debit card if you use and return =RANSOM). In MAY I got a confirmation email to state SDC received it and 4-6WKS for aligner delivery. I contact them today (23.06.20) to check status as I expecting it now. Initially they say I never ordered it! It hasn't even been started, I have to wait another 5-6WKS. Then they say I only ordered it today (later they admit that was them manually correcting the error due to me contacting them). Then after much questioning they finally admit it is their fault as the previous mentioned retainer order put on hold caused a glitch with the actioning of my latest aligners (suspicious). Lead time 5-6wks... pushing out completion date and time wearing old gross retainers. They they say they will do "everything to send them to me ASAP". I ask what is "everything", what will be done to help send ASAP as they mention to make up lost time due to their error? For the NEXT hour I have to keep asking this question to either be ignored or repeatedly get the same cut and paste text about 5-6wks ... we went back and forth - refusing to answer my question ... so in summary nothing will be done. Poor communication again. Just tell me if that statement was wrong and nothing is being done to send it ASAP.

INVISALIGN is more expensive but look at it as an INVESTMENT in your dental health and stress levels. I have never experienced such errors and rude customer service. And fair chance in the long run your time using the aligners will be less with INVISALIGN than SDC due to the delays, error and lead times. I wish I had done invisalign - being in Australia, I was be more rest assured that I did not have to reply on web chat to get misleading info - I would feel more assured that my teeth were on track if someone was in the room with me giving feedback. And based on how my smile is shaping up, I definitely needed the tooth shaving that Invisalign suggested I have done ... I will have todo this post-SDC to improve the look. And who knows if I will be happy at the end of the third set of aligner plan I am to receive in 5-6wks time! Or if they will even start it! I was meant to be completed before Christmas 2019 .... and now its almost July 2020.

Great first contact service and marketing but poor ongoing customer service – I was so excited in the beginning to get my aligners and get that perfect smile because my first consultation was an amazing experience. your question. Some of the aligners that I got were a bit rough, have long bases and protruding so they were too wide. It's happened 3 times now. Which shows they don't refine the digital print. This has caused me painful and some almost sleepless nights. Oral health affected. I've complained on the phone a couple of times and asked for my specialist to contact me but no reply. Until I found out 2 weeks later after calling again that there was a note there that I just need to go to their shop and have new scans! WTF! I am sticking into it only because I've already invested $$$$ and my gaps are getting narrower. However, I will not recommend it to my friends because of poor ongoing service and after care unless you're into pain or your tolerance is strong!
