story short - worked for a month. Repeatedly contacted the company to ask could I pay for a new solar panel to be able to have my lights working and never received a response. No wonder this company is out of business.
The Festoon String Lights works only for a few days. Do not bother sending a message via support@solaceaustralia.com.au or FB messenger. They will not reply. I already logged a complain via NSW Fair Trading - Reference Number 11407499.
Received my order which was faulty and never worked. Sent numerous emails and messages through the website to organise an exchange but never heard back. Absolutely terrible.

started a claim. The lights arrived and were not solar - had to be plugged into mains power!! I kept a copy of all emails I sent and added them to my claim along with photos - none were answered by Solace. Paypal took over and I will be receiving a full refund shortly. I wish I had seen this review page before ordering and I am thankful I paid with Paypal.
No customer service – Absolutely joke no customer support, my sola panel is not working after 10 months, I am willing to buy a new one even though they it is under warranty and should replace it but can’t even get hold of anyone to get the part. Choose a different company

supplier via email and waited two weeks. No response. We then contacted them by their online contact form. No response. We then tried to call them. Their listed mobile number doesn't allow for messages to be left. We bought the lights using PayPal but you can only submit a claim if you return the items first and then do not get a refund. That is difficult when they don't respond. We have since lodged a claim with NSW Fair Trading. They don't appear to have a social media account linked to the business but a quick ASIC search appears to reveal that they have another business.

Bad customer service – Solar panels started to appear worn out and no longer charges. Have tried contacting them via chat as well as email. No response. Still getting spammed with marketing emails, can’t believe they are still in business.

Probably should have read these reviews before purchase, 1 set of lights has failed roughly 12 months after purchase, they do not ever respond to the emails sent, even from the contact us page no response. Their address shows up as a house on Google Maps so probably false. 2 Sets of Festoon Lights purchased Nov 2023, 1 is still working appears the controller has failed.

Don’t trust as they don’t reply when something goes wrong. Mobile number goes to message bank and whe. H – Bought 4 sets of lights and when the charges died I emailed phoned and no customer support. Avoid buying from them cause they are shonky as ever. 30years in trading my butt. You are fake and not trust worthy.

Wrong product sent, support team not answering emails – How do you get the support people to respond to your emails? Ordered festoon lights, but a single solar light arrived. I can't get a response from them to rectify the issue. I would suggest not using this company, their website says the support email will help. It appears to be an extension of the truth.
lucky to get 12mths – bought the buy one get one free. withing matter of weeks first solar panel failed. contacted them they sent out another, got maybe 4mths out of that then that failed used the one from free set - withing 6 mths failed... the lights look great but the longevity isn't. Really pathetic life span of product

Only good for 3 months – Bought festoon garden lights last year (Nov, 2023). They were good for 3 months then the lights are only on for about 10min then turned off by themselves since February, 2024. Tried to recharge the solar battery by main but it made no improvement. I attempted to reach out via the online chat and support email, but received no response. Additionally, there is a mobile number that no one answers, and messages cannot be left. The positive reviews on their website appear to be misleading, and the advertised 90-Day Peace of Mind Guarantee, which promises a full refund if you’re not satisfied, is difficult to utilise when there’s no way to get in touch with anyone. I’m doubtful that I will receive any resolution and would not recommend dealing with this business. It’s disappointing to see such effort put into producing, marketing, and selling the lights, only to fall short on quality and customer service. Almost a great business.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM – I purchased festoon lights from this company, and they stopped working after just a few weeks. I've made numerous attempts to contact them via email and phone, but they have not responded for many months. I am certain this company is fraudulent. I would strongly advise against buying anything from them.
