Soniq is one of the worst support i ever felt since 15 years. I am trying to download a firmware for my TV which is stuck on the Soniq logo and they are keep asking me to pay 70$ without even know what i need.

Extremely poor customer service. There’s no contact number to speak with anyone. All you can do is email them. So we have had no tv for 5 days and not one person has returned my emails. I’m so frustrated I’m ready to drive to them and dump there tv on their front door Show details

No more Soniq products – I can't get help to reset or access my account again. From now on I will be making sure that there is a contact number that answers or at least reply to emails for the product I am buying. Anyway Soniq do not reply to emails and the contact number is only for the email addresses. Very poor. I'll be crossing Soniq off my list.

Tv lcd smashed upon opening – Brought a brand new tv at the post office who charge me $390 when aust post advertising the. For $324 ! The i get get home and plug it in and find it broken … yes it was transported carefully I had it wrapped in thick blankets and pillows so this has been damaged during courier transport . Hoping Soniq replace it under there warranty as i can’t afford to buy another one Show details

Long lasting very cheap TV's – See a lot of negative reviews on Soniq for quality, we have 6 of them 32, 2*40, 2*43 & a 65 inch, the last one I bought 4 years ago. All still work perfectly, one of them (43inch) is on 8-10 hours a day every day, all are Dumb TV's except the 65 inch, I do prefer the non smart TV's, quick, easy to use, the Smart TV is no longer smart as it is now… Read more

too old and most of the Apps no longer work and it is slow to get going but still a crisp clear picture, so all the people who complain that they don't last I can't understand why, I even have two very old 32 inch ones in the cupboard that would be about 15 years old, only put them away when we upgraded to the 43inch ones, kept them expecting for the cheap price the TV's would not last more than a few years but they keep going and going.

Poor Service – Shocking service. Ordered a tripod from their clearance store. They sent a confirmation email that included that they'd email when shipped but nothing since. Replied and asked about tracking but they didn't reply. They replied to another enquiry saying it had been delivered. Turns out they didn't put my name on the address label so had a huge difficulty collecting it from where it was left. Show details

I should have read the reviews first – I brought the Soniq Android 50 inch tv September 2022. It crapped out Christmas day 2023 while we were watching it, just went off, and never came back on again. Im not sure if it would be cheaper to buy another tv (not this brand) or get this one looked at. Good tv but wouldnt get this brand again.

Too big to fit into the bin – The remote is not compatible with the set, which means you can't use most of the functions. Forget 'click and go' - you have to navigate thru a complicated sequence to get what you want. Simply put - you can see what you want but the remote won't let you select that function. it's only with my set - but it has a serious issue remaining connected to the internet. Not recommended.

Let down by the Soniq aftersales team – I purchased a new Soniq 43” Android tv on eBay and Soniq back in Oct.2021. We had issues with our tv set not long after delivery,contacted Soniq firstly support,then Soniq tech help desk and finally Soniq warranty departments,many emails exchanged finally a decision was made to return the faulty tv,initially the Soniq warranty department… Read more

representative agreed Soniq would drop off a suitable packaging box to effect the safe collection of the faulty TV set,this was later retracted and the Soniq warranty representive wrote back via email to me stating that l would now,have to return the TV set back to Soniq Braeside Victoria for my full refund,(and wrote to me quoting”the refund would take between 3 to 5 business days “) very annoyed with Soniq at this stage all taking far too long. My patience was stretched to he max,but l kept a cool head. l returned the tv set to Soniq,Braeside Victoria office,and to note no good using their published business office phone number,which the recording then directs you to their website to a “Contact Us “ form on there website, which l filled in on 2 occasions,no reply to date on these and it has been 8 days since l returned the TV set. The Soniq warranty department has not responded to my email yesterday regarding my overdue refund. Based on my personal experience with Soniq and it’s representatives l would not be comfortable in recommending or dealing Soniq anytime in the future.

Don't buy a soniq tv – Tv won't connect to internet apart from Netflix. Can't contact anyone from the company for technical support. Sent an email and got ignored. Would love to complain but none listens.

DO NOT BUY SONIQ TV – TV failed during set up, it was the most tedious setup process I’ve encountered. You have to join their club to submit a warranty claim. They posted on their page that my claim was complete. Then nothing for 6 weeks, they don’t answer emails, you can’t phone them, they are the worst customer service I’ve ever come across. One star and 5 star reviews. Hmm, so which do you think are fake – Thank you to all the people writing the reviews. Soniq reviews are bad with the same general complaints, and then there are the 5 star (nothing in between) fake reviews which are obviously done by Soniq staff and friends to boost up the average rating. If it actually works, it sounds like you need a degree to operate them. I'm definitely not buying a Soniq TV.

worst usability of any TV – The software with the TV is just terrible. eg 1) you cant select which programs appear in your channel guide - ie you cant remove any channels that you dont want to see. 2) you cant select a channel from the channel guide with the select button - you have to use the guide button 3) it forces you to always have the initial screen with all the apps… Read more

and then find and select TV 4) it is generally not inituitive to set up, it is quite difficult. Also the picture quality is worst i have ( i have three other older tvs). Dont buy one. Model is the 42 inch G42FW60A year 2021

Picture good, but sound terrible – We have installed many of the SONIQ TV's (Model # E65UV42A) in my school recently as classroom presentation devices, but the sound - admittedly in that classroom environment - is just plain awful. Muffled and just ordinary sound, regardless of playing with the settings (ie. lowering bass, increasing treble etc.). Perhaps if you use a different sound device (ie. sound bar) this would be okay. Show details

Perfect 2nd time purchase – Ordered a TV on 12/03/2021 arrived in Tasmania 16/03/2021. Price was great item is exactly as described. Model SONIQ A-Series 32" HD Android TV. Kept informed where my item was and who delivery was coming by. All around a great experience.

Soniq is The worst – I have a soniq TV. I have never reviewed any product before. Soniq is The worst appliance I have ever owned. Most of the menu doesn't work. My brother has one also and is also crap. It's like trying to navigate a 1960s tv with a 1930s menu book. Nothing works. Nothing except the power button. Sometimes I wish that didn't. 3 years old won’t turn on – After 2 years, I noticed that the standby button wasn’t on. It required me to click the power on/off once or twice and then it would work again no issues. As time progressed, same issue but now requires power on/of 20 plus times to get it to turn on. Forums say that it needs a software update but I’ve tried all work arounds, no luck. I’ve got a TV that is 4 years older (8 years) that still works better than this Show details

Very user unfriendly – Most user unfriendly tv I have ever had. If the signal becomes low the tv will turn off and reset. This happens on average every 5 minutes. The remote is even worse than the tv.
