Not happy have had a retractable screen door for 12 months bottom part of screen kept popping out yesterday the screen popped out top and bottom we can't get it back in. $1800 down the drain after reading the reviews don't like my chances on getting it fixed. Should have gone with Crimsafe.

Expensive, dreadful service. Wanted to charge >$200 service fee to fix a screen that had been installed and came off frame within 2 weeks. Took me 2 emails and 3 phone calls to hear back from them. Avoid at all costs. Show details

install happened we could no longer open 2x windows. Took them FOUR WEEKS to come back and fix it, then when the last big storm hit we discovered that one of the screens in our bedroom has been installed so tightly that waster can’t flow out the bottom so it now just floods into our bedroom. I’ve called, emailed and had zero response from them. When I did get onto them regarding the issues with the windows not opening the receptionist had ZERO idea what she was talking about and told me to try and loosen them myself? Ah, you guys drilled the screws THROUGH my window, how would one do that? This company is actually so bloody useless. Go elsewhere.

Not reliable worker - NO SHOW – Not very professional. Matt scheduled a time in my house today and didn't show up. He rang my phone and I called him back literally 2 min after and he didn't pick up. I had to change my whole working schedule because of that. Very bad way to start
STAY CLEAR – It was a problem trying to get a quote, so I would hate to see what it would be like to try and have them actually do the job. No wonder their rating is low. Do yourself a favor and stay clear.

Poor workmanship – Poor installation, fitter decided to take my top trim away, without asking, left screws in the door, and lock and top rail, asked him to cut them down, he proceeded to grind right there in my kitchen, and left me to clean them up in two rooms, I have animals, not happy, one sliding to keeps popping out of it's lock, poor sizing on both doors, gaps… Read more
on the track he put in, letting those bugs in, made me feel very uncomfortable on both occasions he has attended my house, these are not custom made, they are shody, fitter has damaged my existing door frame to butcher the screens into place!!
Totally Incompetent – Went to these guys as a returning customer but that was the biggest mistake ever. Now I’ve just been told some sob story that the powder coating finishing is not good on the ones just produced and I can either wait another 4 - 6 weeks and hopefully the powder coating will be right or I can have my money refunded. Of course I’ve got my money refunded as I don’t want to deal with their incompetence any more. Absolute joke of a company- wouldn’t bother with them again and strongly advise any of you to go and get your security screens somewhere else so you don’t go through the hell I’ve been through.

tracks. Doors seem ok and fitting unbelievable.. Doors leave a 50 mm gap so every insect and rodent smaller than a large Kangaroo can enter the rooms. There is no locking strip because the doors to not meet at a point they should and the 50mm gap makes this impossible. I was warned this was not a security door but a safety door which was ok . As it turns out they are not even a screen doors because of the aformentioned gap. INstaller said would be backto rectify in a couple of days in mid December; this has not happened an sms messages to the office go unanswered. Definately could not recommend for work done or customer service.
Disappointed when considering returning as repeat customer – I called and left a voicemail on Monday stating my name and details and that I was a repeat customer ready to order a door. No return call. The product we ordered this time last year was good and the service likewise. Hence the 3 stars. However SP seems to have more business than it needs to the detriment of the customer. Not sure if I will call back in Jan.
Quality all round – Had 3 new security doors fitted replacing old screen doors. Measurements were taken twice before the final fit. The product is first class, triple locking and so precise. The work was done without fuss and I couldn't be happier with both service and the end result.

3 months and counting - don't use!! not even for a small job!! – Placed a deposit for some screens 07 Feb. Only after adding a comment on their Facebook and calling 3 times over 3 months have they now booked in my installation. they are just about show on the outside. They were stripping screw heads during the install because "the bit is so old and expensive". The 3rd and final screen wasn't the right size and that was blamed on the manufacture guys as "we gave them the right size" after a double check of sizes. Although I was told on the last call the screens were being "quality checked". I was going to get these guys to do some big installs but see for yourself and use them for a small job first (i take this back), you will learn you need to go somewhere else.
*Update 27 June - Still haven't received the last screen. I was contacted on the 12th of June to advise the guy that was meant to come couldn't make it. Then the owner sent an SMS saying he would try to get around to install it. I have now requested them to just come by when I am home at 4pm to ensure it fits and I will install it but apparently that is too difficult now also. I am now receiving overdue notices from SP Screens that I will not be paying until I receive the screen. Over to the ACCC I go to submit a complaint.
Disappointed – SP screens ad used to say "Always on guard" for security. I paid approx $3000.00 for several screens only to be told by my local handy man, painter and builder that these screens can be easily removed. You just need the right tool that can can be purchased from Bunnings for about $5.00! I am extremely disappointed. Should have gone with Crim safe. Turns out, they are a very expensive fly screen. this small part. Firstly, there is no way to get in touch directly with your local supplier. I had to wait a long time to get through on an 1300 number. Second, I was told SP Screens do not store spare or replacement parts and I would have to contact the supplier in Qld. When the doors were installed I spoke to the tradesman for some time and watched him do the job. I saw he had a truck full of all sorts of spare parts including the roller mechanisms for the bottom of the doors. So, I know they've got the small plastic part I want. Pretty poor customer service with a bit of dishonesty thrown in.

Abusive towards paying customer DO NOT RECOMMEND! Slurred at us when could not do job – Payed over $1000 for screen for work to be done, when employee would not do this he said we need to pay extra, tho this is what he is payed for. He became abusive when handyman came to check and received damage he had cause,started to slur us out left with not even half finished, worse then started. Would have attacked me if i was not to bring in the handyman to protect me. i felt endangered by their interaction.
Would rate 0 stars if possible – Installer was petrified of heights could barely climb our scaffold lucky my husband was there to help. Retractable Screen Problems – I have a dog and also my grandchild visits us regularly. The screen keeps popping out of the bottom rail if it is slightly touched . Even the wind moves the mesh from the bottom rail . It is only a couple of months old and one of the strings is broken. The cost to repair it is around $600. The screen was about $2000. I would not recommend this type of screen to anyone. Show details

What! We were very patient as there was Covid, Christmas, but the installer had some issues which is OK, but they didn't organise an alternative person to install the door. Each time they reset the install it was 4 weeks later. It was a joke and I had to complain every time and they moved the install earlier. I would never use or recommend this company. been told they would take a couple of weeks to be installed, they actually got installed 22nd March after two complaints about how long they were taking). When I rang I was told that the sales guy "should never have given you that understanding"...well he did, and they didn't deliver on time. When they finally got around to the installation one of the doors had a big gap underneath and the keys wouldn't even lock or unlock it. Q. What good is a security door that doesn't keep anyone out not even the bugs? When I rang to advise we were unhappy about the quality I was told that the installer would get back in touch...he failed to do that for a number of weeks. It was not fixed until the end of the first week of May... By the time installer did make contact we had a tenant who had moved into the property, so it now had to go through the real estate agent. I was only given an email apology from a customer service Manager for this inconvenience and was told that since 'they could have fixed the problem' they refused to reimburse me for the locksmith who I had to call out prior to the tenant moving in (to fix the door alignment and change the lock) to ensure the tenant could feel safe - the company refused to reimburse me for the cost, to say I'm ticked off is an understatement. Lesson learnt. My TIP- Never use this company if you can avoid them. Save yourself for a good company and a much better experience, if I could give them 0 out of 5 I would
