Do not waste your hard earned money on this ridiculous company. I wanted to get an exchange in Caloundra store (not refund) from on line purchase. The employee could not understand my request? Very weird. I gave up and will sell on line. I will NEVER again waste my money or time on this trash.

I purchase four pairs of shoes for my kids online and did click and collect. There was an online sale. It said that all the shoes were available in a store that is not my local but not too far. do that. She tired to make enquiries but could not do anything. She really did try. As it is not my local and I needed a pair of the shoes in two days, I was not returning when they eventually arrived in store. So I contact them via their webpage and said I want to cancel my order. Told them that I needed to source shoes from elsewhere as I needed a pair immediately and did not really have to funds to do that after spending over $90 in store. My refund has been processed but there was zero empathy from the customer service person [Name Removed]. Won't ever buy from there again. A previous pair of shoes my daughter had saw the glitter come off within a couple of wears.

Don't buy nothing from then – I have bought it shoes there what was nice, but when I wear it walked in it my toes were bleeding got my skin off, I took it back and they said that they can't change it because I wear it already. So now I got a shoes that can go into bin. Not happy Show details

taken tags off both shoes and put them back on. Umm Shoes are bright white and still clean with tags on. Soles have some marks but my daughter had been at school all week and not had a chance to wear them in the 5 days since purchased!! Perhaps the quality of the shoes and shop floor?! Said girl refused to give me her name.

Was then put on the phone to ‘[Name Removed]’ from customer support who told me she doesnt care and to take them to ACCC (which I will be doing) and hung up on me. Reviews are all the same - this company treats customers terribly and encourages their staff to do the same. Steer clear!

in this case. There were school holidays and my daughter doesn't wear them every day day. Very poor quality. Don't buy anything from this store unless you want them to last just a couple of months.

going on in their lives, my daughter was struggling to find the size I wanted and so I spoke to the ladies behind the counter and said “excuse me would you mind giving us a hand to find the correct sizes please?” And then she goes oh sure no worries which shoes we’re they? And she proceeds to get the shoes I wanted and the other sales assistant gets a tool to get the high up shoes down for me. Apparently there was a sale on so I got an extra pair for my daughter and the only ones left in her size were size 6 display shoes I let the woman know that it would have been nice to get some assistance as I did purchase four pairs of shoes, I paid for them and left only to get home and realise my daughter had two very different shoes in her box one size 6 left shoe and one size 8 right shoe and when my daughter called the store she goes oh sorry we were really busy when you came into the store earlier and bring the shoes back and we can sort it for you and requested informal feedback

Great customer service Northgate – A very big thank you to Kristy at the Northgate store in Tasmania. I went into store for some work shoes and she went above and beyond. She offered different styles and made sure I was happy with my purchase. I brought two pairs. Lovely customer service in a great store. Will definitely shop with this store again

Poor quality shoes and even worse customer service – I bought my daughter a pair of school shoes on Friday at the Shellharbour, and after only ONE DAY of use yesterday the fake leather had rubbed off on the toes and there was cheap, thin fabric showing underneath. to blame my daughter for scuffing them. I told her that kids play and run around, and kids shoes should be able to withstand more than one day of normal child use, plus you can see how thin and poor quality the material is, to which she replied “oh well, they’re cheap shoes”. She was quite rude about it even though I had been polite and respectful about the situation.

If they know they’re such low quality that (as this lady implied) this kind of thing apparently should be expected, then why sell them in the first place? And why treat the customer as if they’re in the wrong for returning them? As a business owner myself, it’s not hard to apologise and take responsibility for a defective product. It’s customer service 101, which apparently is lost on this woman, but besides that it’s also an obligation under Consumer Law.

After this experience I will never shop here again.

Plastic bag rip off – Charged 15 cents for a lousy plastic bag that would cost Spendless less than 1 cent in bulk.......an absolute rip off. Well, they won't rip me off again as I will NEVER shop there again.......and I can see by other reviews that Spendless is a sub-standard enterprise.

Beware of this business – Rude customer service. After 1 month of wearing the runners got holes on the rubber sole. Rude Asian lady said there is no warranty on shoes just throw it in the trash and buy another one. When I asked why they not advise customers before purchasing it she said, she doesn't care, she just sells them. Worse company than in the third world country! Show details

Shoes – What great service at EndeavourHills Hills store from Rebecca buying my Grand daughter shoes as starting school no trouble in measuring her foot so we got the correct size. Further purchased Spider-Man shoes for my Grand son and 2 pair of trainers for myself. Great offer buy 2 second at 1/2 price.

Rudest shop assistant! – The shop assistant Kirsty (was written on receipt), was the rudest, most uninterested staff member my friend & I have ever encountered. Not 1 bit attentive, was huffing & puffing the whole time because we asked about sizing. I do not think she will do this store any good, get rid of her. it is nine and her reply was please remain outside it will take me another five minutes to set up. So as I waited she pulled about 8 bins of shoes out then she said come on in. I said I had a parcel to pick and she went out back to grab them, at this point I said to her that I would like to check to see if they are the correct shoes at this point she disappeared outback and never seen her again so I just walked off with my shoes. Gone are the days when a person would turn up at work at least 15 minutes before start so your are ready to serve your first customer at open. Will not shop or pick up from there ever again. This lady is unfortunately not someone that should be in retail if your attitude is my employer pays me from nine so I’m not serving till 9:05

like to have a new one in the box same size and same shoes because the one on the display got scratched on it and it looks like lots of customer tried it that is why i want the fresh one. You can see the angriness on her face and she just thew the shoes on the table where the checkout counter. Before that happened she started to close the door and just leave a little open. Maybe she’s going for a break or something. But the thing is she can’t treat us like that especially we are the customer and we never knew she’s going somewhere or closing but it was just past 10am something. And we already inside like 10 minutes ago. Hope the management will do something about and if there’s a cctv inside the store please make a time to review what happened. At the end i decided not to get the shoes and going somewhere because im so ashame and disappointed that i experienced that treatment in front of my daughter.

longer so I proceed to put my shoes back around where they came from, again doing her work for her, and left the store via the counter where she did not even raise her head from the computer or phone. I then proceeded to go home and order the shoes online to click and collect from the same store and received 30% discount which was not offered in store!!! I then returned to the store the following day to pick up my order from the same lady who did not recognise me at all and was quite pleasant in handing over my parcel. Before too long we will be an online only society with a major job crisis and I would hate to imagine the theft that must go on in this store. Not good enough.

Diamantes feel off after first wear – I purchased the sandals pictured at Uptown Spendless. back to the store and the lady said that was normal wear and tear. I believe a $40 pair of sandals should last longer than that. I don't think the materials are hardy enough to be on shoes if they fall off so quickly and easily. I won't buy shoes from Spendless again.

Will not be going back – Staff unhelpful and not friendly made me feel like a thief because they didn't do their job properly. Young girl was talking down to me and could hear anger in her voice. complain here. I had the Skechers brand previously and they still going strong (just the wrong colour for work). Bears out the warning “don’t fall for cheap imitators”. I now have a correct colour pair of Skechers and I won’t stray from them or shop at Spendless again.
