I really enjoyed shopping from the UK Sports Direct for the customer service and prices that they offered. Once they switched over to Australia I can't order anything from UK. The Australian store prices are so expensive and now reading these reviews it seems that the overall experience with them is quite negative. Sad as there is very little decently priced selection available in NZ.

was A HAIR on the item. One hair. So apparently was not in a resaleable condition. I contacted customer service to query this and ask for any evidence of the issue and they can’t send anything for this. I have queried why one hair would mean it cannot be resold, particularly as this could have fallen off the person inspecting the item. They claim their policy does not allow them to overturn a returns decision. So they have left me no way forward and I had to pay an extra £5 for nothing. Over a hair. Basically feels like a scam.
They have previously had an issue on the website where they put one of my orders through twice, charged me twice, and again would not help or refund my money. Do not shop with them online as they are greedy and will never give you a refund regardless of what has happened. Massive waste of time and money.

I was told they do not take online returns as they are 2 different companies? even though I had picked up another pair of suitable runners in store and was hoping to return the ones I bought online and get these instead. The staff could not process my request nor coukd they return the online product for me. I had to return the runners myself using the online portal and specific drop off site and pay the cost. As a side note, you can still order online, get 'click and collect' to your local store but they wont return these products either? I am so disgusted with the service. There should be a warning info box especially when you get to the online checkout part telling and reminding you that you cannot return items bought online to your local store. Do not purchase from this company. I blame myself for not looking at reviews prior to purchasing and not realising they are located overseas. We received our “new” soccer shoes only to find they had been previously worn. The bottoms were dirty and there were some scuff marks on the toes. No tags were on the shoes. They were clearly an item that someone has worn and returned and then they have resold them as new.
Terrible experience!! Bought a Karrimor Jacket and the down feathers keep coming out along the stitching lines inside and outside. I requested a response and they kept saying that it was due to laundering or the way it's been handled. The Jacket has not been laundered and only worn a few times which I reiterated in all of the emails to them. They just kept repeating the same excuse but did not listen to me. Due to their delaying tactics I am now out of the 30 day refund time limit with PayPal. Will never ever purchase from them again.

In the same order, I purchased several T-shirts. These were the same brand and style I had purchased from SportsDirect in the past. Previously, they had been durable and retained their shape. However, the new batch shrank and lost shape after one gentle wash, despite following care instructions.
I attempted to return the items, but the process was unclear and frustrating. SportsDirect sent me a return label, but no instructions were provided. I contacted both Australia Post and ParcelPoint, who confirmed that the label provided was invalid in Australia. I contacted SportsDirect several times for clarification. I continued to receive emails requesting more information, but no practical solution was ever provided.
The outcome is that I have been left out of pocket for undelivered and faulty goods, and unable to return the items due to a return process that does not work for Australian customers.
This experience has significantly impacted my trust in the company. I am submitting this complaint as I believe their handling of faulty goods, failed delivery, and returns is not compliant with Australian Consumer Law.

rate of domestic Aus postage and then the return label generated was to return the item to NSW in Australia. Also very slow to process returns. My advice is to avoid Sports Direct.

My order was correct, shoes are good quality and shipping was rather quick. The customer service through email was also good to my personal experience.
So if your looking for sporting goods, labelled name shoes, clothing etc. I Believe this website is fine. I do believe they can raise their standard higher on their websites and customer service such as perhaps more information on shipping, and having an office base for customer service with a call centre rather then just email that would definitely gain much more trust with their customers but to my personal experience I think this site is good and decently priced and I am happy with my experience.

Please note i hadn't posted the above as thought it best to wait for delivery . Took 9 days from Uk to Victoria , the goods got stuck at Dandenong for 3 days but arrived today and all is/are good . So would of been 6 or 7 days postage but was 9 which is still ok .
All the goods are in excellent condition and the prices were amazing 1 x 500 dollar zone 3 wetsuit really worth 200-300 ish but marked down to $127 , neoprene cap at 24 and gloves at $ 18.00 plus delivery of $42 . Paid with paypal just in case of dramas but there were none and an excellent service at an excellent price so off to swim tonight to see if these things work .lol Would of been nicer if packed in a cardboard box like most wetsuits as they are delicate but no harm done . cheers

Worst service and most idiotic reps treating customers with arrogance, they are from another planet. I purchased 4 identical items from them and 1 is clearly smaller than the other 3 items, but labelled as same size, they won't do anything about it even after I sent them photos to show the size difference, i will file thru PayPal. It is not worth the trouble to deal with them.
On reading so many negative reviews I was a bit hesitant to buy from this store but I couldn’t be happier! Clothes were great quality & such a bargain. Parcel was shipped very quickly & there was tracking all the way. 5 Stars!!!
