register and sign up as a VIP to go to a store you also need to reregister to shop on line. It is not the same as your VIP details at a store. I phoned to the local store manager who is always been amazing and helpful for help. She also complained their system is poorly designed and the store staff no longer get access to customer purchases history to assist with re ordering. There is no customer service phone number on their website, they want you to write to them so you won't waste your time, and they will never reply to so I got the customer service number 1300305405 from a staff member at the local store. Yep it was a oversea call centre and not very helpful. My company also purchase a lot of picture frames for work. Spotlight stocks and sells a product made by "Frame Depot" . WARNING do not bother with this product, they are poorly made from MDF and a single staple in each corner and they fall apart if you just look at them . We originally purchased 12 - 50cm x 70 cm frames ( $40 each ) and three were broken when we unpacked them. and 2 mounted frames just collapsed with the glass smashing all over the floor 3 months later. I hope this review gets back to the Field family who own Spotlight, Anaconda and Harris Scarf outlets because I won't spend my money but more importantly waste my precious time with a company that does not put their customers shopping experience first. at least companies like Ikea knows how to provide customer service.

Ordered blinds 5/1/26 two of the six blinds were the wrong size. No call centre so lodged a complaint online, took them till the 6th of Feb to advise incorrect size stickers may have been used on the boxes. Once opened all the blinds come with metal brackets hard against the blinds so all six are scratched and dinted some of the wood is cracked.
Wished to return 2 Tontine pillows purchased at Spotlight prior to Xmas (on sale for $29). Both pillows split after 2 nights of use. provide a refund or offer a credit note. I was questioned about whether a dog had jumped on them or children had been fighting with them. Neither of these scenarios occurred. The implication was it was my fault. As the person assisting me said they had never seen them split like this she refused to accept the product was faulty or assist me further. This is terrible customer service. The material was poor quality with no give which is why both split in the same place. Appreciate they are budget priced but regardless strongly suggest do not purchase.
Poor quality blinds, including size shown on package for Brooklyn roller blind being way too small for window. Then turned to the large markup tickets saying they were incorrect and removed them then begrudgingly said I could have them at the instore advertised price. 30 minutes wasted of my time on very poor service. All of the installed shutters are inconsistent in colour, all have black stress marks. I have had 2 inspections from Spotlight staff, both said the shutters would be replaced. The first inspection was 3 years ago. Despite multiple follow ups, I never heard back. The 2nd was 7 July 2025. He said to call head office to follow up. I did 24 July. The lady I spoke with said the first claim was denied, no details or reason was provided. The second claim has the pitting knocked back as they don’t cover mould. The rest of the claim has not been finalised, although it has been with the officer for over a week.
Our shutters are cleaned once per week.
These shutters are not fit for purpose. Do not buy them.
Cannot return Purchased 5 frames while waiting for prints to arrive but the frames did not fit right when they arrive. Tried to return however apparently these are “special order” items even though they are premade and boxed and not custom made at all. Tried to leave a review on their website but it was declined as it was not positive.

Bought a high quality Fiskars 5L pot in 2023 and the handle just snapped off at the welds almost causing a burn. Fiskars products come with a 25 year warranty and I have been in contact with spotlight and they have just stated it falls under general wear and tear. I received my mirror today, smashed! No packaging, just a cardboard box with tape. No bubble wrapped mirror. No fragile stickers. Just a mirror with thin cardboard wrapped around and taped!! How can a package make it out of the store like this? Why would someone think it was o.k???

I emailed customer service that same evening and got a response a few days later. Unbelievably, they said they couldn't honour the voucher because they didn't receive the email until the 24th, one day after it expired. That I had sent the email and tried to use the voucher on the 23rd, while it was still valid, they just completely discarded. I won't be shopping at Spotlight again!

accused me of calling her a liar and stated that the system showed $20, insisting that I prove the advertised price by taking a photo of the shelf tag. I provided proof from both the shelf pricing and the online listing. Despite this, the interaction was handled poorly, and out of principle, I chose not to proceed with the purchase. I later found the same type of light bulb at another store for $4.25; although it was a different brand, it was equivalent and met the same purpose.
Follow-up · The store manager personally called to apologize and thank me for providing feedback about staff attitude. They also acknowledged the pricing issue and explained what should have been charged. I appreciate their effort to reach out, even though I ended up purchasing the product elsewhere. It’s great to see a business taking customer feedback seriously.
