Only part of online order arrived, now am told I have to wait why they sort it out with courier. I've been waiting a month now!
There courier service is hit & miss , I've paid for missing items & haven't been offered a refund cause it seems it's my problem their courier didn't deliver !

Do yourself a favour and keep away from Spolight made to measure curtains.
I received the quote from SPOTLIGHT on 12th May 2020
13th may I accepted the quote and made a deposit of 50% on 14th May.
I've been advised that the order may take up to 8 weeks to be made as the factories over eastern states are not functioning on their full capacity due to covid.

You need to hire more staff
At least 10 people walking inside the shop aimlessly looking for help from a staff member. The only counter that was attended was The one with the balloons!! One woman approached us and said that she didn't know anything about curtains or blinds(didn't even try!!). Finally Claire served us and other people with a smile. Lovely customer service from Claire!!
Do not pickup the intentionally
I called them 3 or 4 times. Mostly they do not pickup and when they pickup they hangup the phone

1. Poor, I mean "very poor" customer service, never called back despite that they asked you to leave contact details and message AND they take forever (zillion years) to answer the phone.
2. They can never give you an indicative date for delivery / installation despite telling you the goods are ready to be installed. You will need to persistently called them and beg for a date/time.
3. Miscommunication between warehouse and front desk, failed to provide update even the curtain is made and ready to be installed. A typical "...
Disgusting customer service
I called the customer service line and spoke to Maria about Venetian blinds I bought online...once Installed and shortened to size In The kids bedrooms and after opening the door in the morning they whole room stunk like bad chemicals and the kids were feeling sooo sick...I smelled the blinds and they smelled like rotten eggs.. after explaining this she proceeded to tell me that I could not get a replacement on the ones I shortened even thought the blinds are all faulty in the first place and making my kids I’ll...she was very rude and would no...t listen to me...I know my consumer laws and just because some of the blinds have been shortened doesn’t not matter since the blinds are faulty from the beginning and dangerous to human health I’m so disappointed and disgusted with this spotlight customer service..this should have been an easy swap over with an apology and even a return of my money.. I will be taking this further as my kids have been affected
Worst experience ever
Ordered curtains in September advised 6 week wait. Now 9 weeks later. Accessing and obtaining information from call centre is a nightmare. After waiting on hold forever there is no resolve to query. Finally all item available but now pay up and installation to be arranged again through the call centre. Good luck with that, was put on hold by contact officer that resulted in disconnect. Now can not even get through to call centre. Requested again to leave name and number or log enquiry through email. Call backs do not happen and emails not answered. Wonder which century I will get what I have paid. Most disgraceful level of service I have ever experienced. Wish I had read reviews before engaging in using Spotlight.
Bought blinds for whole room, only filled half of my order and will not allow me to refund the others.
Online allowed me to purchase blinds that were actually not all in stick. After they processed my order and allowed me to pay they only posted half of my order (no point as I needed a matching set for the room) and then would not allow me to return them. I now have half a room of blinds that are useless and I had to buy a full set of blinds from a different business.
Terrible customer interaction
Called the custom made 1300 on 15 different occasions Over the last 2 weekd chasing my order. Left my name and number inquiring about my order that now is still outstanding since September . Not one return call at all no one answers phone just have to leave number. Called store where I placed order as well and guess what you have to call the 1300 number . After many weeks store has promised to chase up to no avail. Received blackout curtains which have been made at wrong ordered length yet to be resolved and still chasing sheers after 9 weeks to no avail !!! Never ever again if I ever get my curtains and or get my blockout curtains to the length I ordered

Don’t waste your time
They do not keep track of what stock they have available. They cancelled 50% of my order because they didn’t have the stock, despite their website saying they did when I ordered it. The entire purchase was made through Spotlight for the very purpose of this one particular item, then just buying other items to save shipping from a different store. They dismissed my request for a refund on the other items. Will never be shopping with them again.
Rubbish online store
Just wasted my time on their online store looking for ready made curtains as most of their curtains are unavailable to purchase online.

The customer service at spotlight is non existent. I am unsure how they are still in operation. Items ordered online and not in stock. Have received partial refund but still have to pay postage?!
Curtains ordered in May and 6 MONTHS later where are they? Even without lockdown delays, this has been a mismanaged disaster, with the curtain house being blamed for: Starting one pair without enough fabric for the second, “forgetting” to make second pair, mismatched dye lots so they decided to remake. Now not contacting to install, despite my payment. The soundtrack of my 2020 is their ‘on hold’ music.
Made to measure curtains - do not order through spotlight!
Do NOT order made to measure curtains through spotlight. Worst communication I have ever experienced, not to mention poor quality and inexperienced staff.
After making an order in the first week of August I was told that I would have my curtains installed within 6-8 weeks. Around 10 weeks I called and was told that the curtains were delayed due to covid (sure, understandable). At 14 weeks I called and was told that that they had arrived and that Melbourne office would call me to arrange installation. Did not hear anything. Went into the store...at 15 weeks and talked to someone and was told that they would contact me yet again. Sure enough they did call later that day to arrange installation that week. (I was surprised) Tried to call them back to ask some questions a few days prior to installation (eg, do I need to take down old curtains prior etc) got a message bank and was told to leave my name and number. Was never called back. Then finally they are installed many MONTHS after ordering - 2 blinds out of 9 are wrong. One is too wide and needs to be cut down. One is too short and needs to be re-made. Very very unimpressed as I was told it would be a few weeks until I had those curtains fixed - knowing spotlight it could be another 4 months. On another note - They are also meant to be block out blinds and yet have the widest gap between the curtain and the window frame letting so much light in still. Just don’t order. I am so utterly disappointed I wish I could get my money back and go through somewhere professional.

I received my order today...delicate fairy garden objects...wrapped in a layer of bubble wrap and placed into a plastic post.office satchel...several of them were broken..they should have been packed into a box for safer delivery

Made to Measure Curtains - Fail, after fail, after fail
I ordered and paid the deposit for made to measure curtains in June 2020, expecting a 4-6 week installation. After waiting 6 weeks and receiving no phone call, email, or any other update, I called the 1300 number. Apparently there was a software error at their factory which meant that many recent orders had to be remade, and mine was one of these. I was given an updated installation time of "early October". Again, after no phone call by "early October" I called the 1300 number and was informed that due to COVID restrictions the Melbourne fa...ctory was behind in orders. However my curtains were finished and the tracks were "on a truck to Brisbane" and that "the local store would be in touch with me to organise installation". Still I received no phone call, even after ringing the 1300 number and leaving a message several times. I received an email on 7 October asking for payment of the balance which I paid. I then received a text message on 21 October for an installation visit on the 3 November. The installer arrived, but the tracks were the wrong size so still no curtains. A couple of days go by, and still no phone call or email to let me know what's going on. So again I ring the 1300 number and leave a message asking for an update. I then rang the store directly and got to speak to the Made 2 Measure desk, and finally get to speak to someone who can give me an update. They are making the new tracks and I get an new installation date of 18 November.
The worst costumer service I have ever experienced.
Made to measure - Wrong blinds ordered to fit behind shutters, wrong coloured shutters ordered. When the shutters turned up and were the wrong colour, and the fact that I started the process in May, I asked for a full refund and that I would not deal with them again. I still have not received the full refund. I contact the staff member nearly every second day and I keep being fobbed off that the paper work is done. Blah blah blah. I am still owed over $2700. Absolutely disgusting customer service. The last time I phoned customer service I was on hold for 48 mins before my call was answered. Do not purchase from this store. Please support a local business that will not stuff you around like this.
Amazing!! Should have gotten these blinds years ago!!
I saw outdoor blinds in a catalogue at 40% off that were exactly what I was looking for. A lady came and measured my alfresco doors and bedroom windows. She said there is a delay because of the pandemic. But, the blinds were installed in the 2 months promised, very professionally and efficiently, and they are amazing!! The look beautiful, block out the sun, and yet we can see our entire backyard. They have really extended our living space and we will not suffer this summer from too much sun and heat in our house. Highly recommended.
