I often enjoy assembling new products and whilst a greenhouse understandably has many parts, the accuracy of the parts was impecible and the service during this process was great, every component was labelled and i felt that assembly was straight forward. The end result is fantastic!
They responded after a review, they said they can’t find any correspondence, that’s so convenient for them to excuse themselves. It just shows they have no concerns at all they haven’t recorded my concerns, sproutwell disregarded my concerns when I complained and did not record my concerns and did nothing about my concerns. business that’s happy to take full payment and not bother with clients concerns and sproutwell made it clear they weren’t doing anything about my concerns, I think this company took my money and ran with it. So much time has passed and it’s only after reading my previews they email me asking about my concerns. I’m giving themv1 star they don’t even deserve that. I give it to them only because it’s required.
The build is very difficult. The build instructions are contradictory, confusing, not very well explained, and missing critical information on how to it together. The quality seems pretty good and sturdy now that it's done but the process of getting there could break a marriage up and cause overwhelm even for someone with a degree!

The greenhouse I purchased is an absolute winner in every way. Communication was good and delivery to Tasmania took less than a week. The assembly instructions are incredibly accurate and don’t suffer from any translation issues. Assembling the greenhouse went entirely without issue and I have been so impressed with the precision of everything… Read more
component. It all fit together perfectly, holes lined up, small lips on joining points made alignment of everything perfectly. If you get the base level and square, everything up will line up perfectly. It took me a few days to build as I was working by myself, and there are a lot of components. For something that weighs a total of about 87 kgs the greenhouse is incredibly strong and sturdy. The engineering is impressive. My wife assisted me at two points; she held the tape measure when I was measuring the diagonals for the base, and later she held up one end of the ridge support while I fixed the other. Neither assist damaged our marital bliss. To summarise, this is a high quality item and it has my full recommendation.
My Sproutwell greenhouse was much easier to assemble than I expected. The instructions and videos were clear, and taking it step by step made the whole process straightforward. There are plenty of parts, but it all fits together well and the solid frame shows why. The finished greenhouse is incredibly sturdy, handles wind beautifully, and the support team were brilliant throughout. The quality is outstanding and absolutely worth it.
I purchased a sproutwell greenhouse Grange 3, 6000 in 2022. I grow orchids and ferns in the greenhouse. This year 2025 temperatures have been -9 and 3 nights as - 11. This greenhouse only has a cement floor and no other heating. Orchids and ferns survived without any frost damage. I even had orchids flowering during this period. Well done to Sproutwell and their products.

I recently purchased a Hot Tub from Sproutwell in Geelong. From the moment I walked into their showroom, I was made to feel comfortable & they answered every question I had, with integrity. for up to two weeks because this is exactly what happened. After two weeks passed, it just stopped & it’s now holding the water volume perfectly. My naughty Dachshund Harry, decided to have a nibble on one of the steps. I rang Sproutwell & they sent one of the installation guys overs with a new one & fitted it the same day. My Hot Tub smells like beautiful cedar & looks amazing in my yard. I can honestly say, the service & product I received from the Sproutwell staff was outstanding.

Love our Sproutwell Imperial greenhouse – I wanted to write this review to add our experience of putting the Sproutwell Imperial greenhouse together. We bought the Imperial 3180 in black with cantilever shelving and shade system. We bought it in polycarbonate (as we're in a cold climate region in NSW) but with a glass front so it's prettier. I read the reviews that said how difficult it… Read more · 1
was to erect but we thought we'd give it a red hot Aussie go. We are two middle-aged women of reasonable intelligence and we weren't on a time frame. We are not builders or tradies of any kind and only used the tools provided. We took three weekends to put it up (after having a landscaper put down compacted road-base and the anchoring frame), and we didn't rush. We watched the videos and read the book and had an absolute ball.
Some advice: 1. Lay out all the parts in numeric then alpha order. The parts start in single digits for the base and gradually get up to double digits for the later parts. Most parts have an A, B or C as well, and these are important! Don't imagine an 11B and a 11C are "close enough". They're entirely different. 2. Once you've laid out the parts in order, start at the beginning of the workbook, select all of the parts at the top of that page, and, having watched the video for that piece, set off! You start with a window/roof vent which is probably the hardest piece. It has special corner brackets that are tricky, but once you work out how the funny, wobbly brackets screw the corner in tight, you get a bit of trust in how the process works. 3. We did about a (long) half-day each day so we never got tired or irritated with the process. 4. If a section doesn't seem to work properly, look carefully at the parts you've used. A few times we considered reaching for the hammer or the drill to force our way through, but each time we found we'd picked a slightly incorrect item number or put something together slightly incorrectly. We'd pull it apart and start that piece/section again and it would come together beautifully. 5. Make sure you carefully read when you have to run multiples of bolts into a channel for later use. Once the roof section is on, it's hard (then annoying and finally too late) to realise that you needed those bolts for struts or cantilever shelving. It's all marked quite clearly. Just believe them when they tell you how many extra to put in, even though you can't imagine what you'll use them for! They know what they're talking about...
Quite a lot of the greenhouse can be done by one person working alone. You need two people once you get to the roof sections and installing the polycarbonate but even then, it's not heavy work. In fact, there is no part of this that requires strength or building skill. You just need attention to detail and commonsense. Every part is light and easy to work with. Our local hardware didn't have a drill piece to fit the 6.5mm bolts so we just used the provided tools, and they were perfect.
If you're OK with detail and you don't mind careful work, this is a heap of fun to do. Like a big jigsaw with the prize of beautiful greenhouse at the end! If you go at things like a bull at a gate and hate reading the manual, perhaps get someone to install it for you. You'll still end up with the beautiful greenhouse.
As to the quality of our greenhouse, it is solid, tight, spacious and beautiful. It feels and looks really luxe. It's already weathered a couple of really windy days and I've sat inside it to observe, and it hasn't rattled or shaken at all! Go us!
I have a little bit more work to do on making the second set of vent openers water tight. I know what I need to do, just need to get the ladder and silicone out. And I also have to buy water butts so the gutters don't drain onto my compacted road-base and run through the greenhouse when it rains.
So that's our experience. We loved every minute of doing it and we really love the greenhouse. We did need a part to be sent to us and it arrived quickly. We asked for help one weekend and had a response first thing Monday morning which solved the question.
So it's a strong recommend from us!

Follow-up · A few times we put the wrong brace in the wrong place which slowed down the progress .If things got a bit tense we walked away and come back later. Like measure twice cut once, read the instructions a few times and install once. We lost one of the hatches in a storm but managed to get it back on. We have installed something to lock them down securely now.

than 3 days to do. My recommendation is to use the installation service provided by Sproutwell for a more cost-effective solution.
I didn't install the turrets on the top of the glasshouse. Only feedback I would have is that it might pay to install more of the gas roof openers to manage the temperature in Summer, and louvers. You are provided with 2 of each, but I would recommend adding another 6 on the roof (gas window openers) and 2 more louvre windows on the other side.
I have yet to fully fit out the inside with stands etc, but have found the steel stands sold by Sproutwell are also great, and the self-watering pots. I also purchased sprouting tables and a potting table.
I love, love, love my glasshouse and can't wait to grow all year round. It is a quality, sturdy, beautiful glasshouse solution.

Purchased a large nursery. Looks great and feels sturdy now it's done but it was an enormous pain to put together over a day and a half relative to other similar kit projects like the stratco garden shed I recently built. The most frustrating thing was probably the quality of the hardware it came with, even after switching to a drill with an… Read more
adjustable chuck instead of my impact driver I broke the head off two screws when putting the vents together which meant I had to drill holes and rivet the corners with broken screws together. I ended up switching to tek screws for the base corner covers rather than risk snapping more snapped screws.
The written instructions try to show too many steps at once and don't match the video, this is especially diabolical when combined with needing to insert bolts into tracks ready for a step you wont complete for another 10 pages. For example I didn't insert a bolt at the start of the build for my diagonal braces and disassembly to put one in would have been a nightmare so I drilled a hole and bolted it through the track.
Finally the build would be made significantly easier by some brackets that positively engage in 3 dimensions on some of the key joins, e.g. a bracket that slot into the t track of the base corners and upright corners to square all the pieces up. The use of some nutserts or threaded holes on the various internal brackets rather than fiddly bolts in t tracks would also make things more user friendly.
I first spoke to them in march. they said they would update me when available. but then i never heard from them. a few months later they said i need to put down a deposit to secure it. and delivery is only 1 month is away. in one month later i was told one more month. the next month i was told one more month. the next month i was told one more month. of course i dont believe them, And now i need to chase a refund.

empire.
But then you crack open the assembly instructions, and all that love curdles faster than milk left in the summer sun. Imagine IKEA on acid – instructions that resemble cave paintings and provide all the clarity of a mud puddle. The "Grip Lock" system, touted for its ease of use, is more like a sadistic game of Jenga with hundreds of pieces. It's the kind of experience that would make even the most patient person question their life choices and contemplate a sudden, plant-free existence.
The price tag might seem reasonable considering the quality materials and functionality, but let's be honest – wrestling with this beast will leave you questioning the value of anything but a good therapist. Sproutwell, for the love of all things green, invest in decent instructions! Clear, step-by-step with illustrations that don't require a decoder ring. This could be a fantastic product, but right now, assembling it feels like wrangling a herd of angry alpacas in a hurricane.
So, the verdict? If you're MacGyver with a zen master's patience, the Sproutwell Nursery might be your triumph. But for the average person, the assembly process is enough to turn anyone off gardening for life. There are other greenhouses out there, ones that won't leave you questioning your sanity before you've even planted your first seed.

An 'ok' product, with inferior, inadequate and frustrating 'supportive' instructions/explanations/videos – On paying the full amount in Sept' 23 (which is mandatory before delivery) the large boxes/pallets were eventually shipped to our property, but given the size of the truck delivering they could not bring them within a couple of hundred meters of the site - so after moving them by hand and tractor to a garage, we set about… Read more
unpacking/sorting/checking the hundreds of sections/panels/bolts/screws etc required for this product on the garage floor - and you'll need a large flat area to manage this. I'd ordered an 'Imperial 3800x2600' model which I was told when discussing the 'best for my purposes' was a premium unit, easily assembled and not necessarily requiring silicone to 'seal'; "What makes this range unique and offers a huge benefit over other brands is the ‘quick smart assembly’ system and full aluminium bar capping system - No PVC strips, clips or silicone required for panel retention" (quote from Sproutwell web site) - whilst in concept (and no doubt to their own very experienced installers), the kit is arguably a 'smart assembly', but the reality is that to the average person it's tedious, confusing, difficult and frustrating, and certainly not 'quick smart', and silicone is absolutely necessary at numerous points. The machining/finish on numerous parts/sections left a lot to be desired, and whilst 'clever' in some aspects (such as the joining/locking corner/miter connectors), they are unforgiving and precarious if not inserted correctly the first time, and even then are very difficult to reinsert if correction is needed. Their supplied 'support' video and manual were needlessly out of sync and correlation with each other - the illustrations and explanations in the manual are often unclear, assumptive and misleading, and terms like 'pre-installed' and 'slides easily' are too often proven false. Important information, instructions and 'please note/s' could quite easily be in another bold colour in the manual and at more relevant times to the process's flow, rather than everything in just the ineffective and indiscernible black and white - often we had to dismantle and redo sections because of vague or 'late' directives - underlining and/or highlighting/emphasizing such important information in the manual when printing would be inexpensive, more professional and greatly beneficial to customers. The video is a poor, amateur 'YouTube' offering that not only differs from the manual, but contradicts and devalues the idea of a 'quality product'. Surely with a product that costs between $3,500 - $4,000 (not including the cost of base materials, preparation and possibly new tools, as the supplied 'tools' are inadequate) a dedicated and more professional video would be warranted?.... The costs of these changes to the company/supplier would be negligible, yet invaluable and respected by potential clients. So whilst the final, erected greenhouse we have is 'ok' (mainly due to our perseverance), aspects of the product's materials, machining and the 'supporting' manual/video etc, aren't as good as they could/should be.

Absolutely Woeful Instructions – The design of this greenhouse is "ok", certainly nothing special. The use of standard sections and slide on bolts makes the construction tedious at best, and nightmarish at worst. What really makes building this thing such a terrible experience though, is the quality of the instructions which, including the videos, that are absolutely woeful. … Read more
The black and white written instructions are not set up in a logical way at all, but rather give you a vague map to how things fit together. Of course, these are the main things you will be looking at when you are building the greenhouse, so unless you have a photographic memory for the video instructions, then you will have hours of frustration in front of you. This is largely due to the ridiculous exclusion of all the important things, like how many bolts you need to pre-insert on to structural sections before connecting them to the frame. They don't mention in the instructions that if you don't have 4 pre-installed bolts in the roof frame sections, then you will have to go back and add more, which is not a fun process. In fact, repeatedly a step will show a section added as completed, but then in the very next step you will need to undo it to add more bolts - it is extremely frustrating and slow. Lastly in regard to the instructions, the black and white line images are confusing to look at, lacking any real detail. Photographs are essential to convey important information clearly.
The videos skip over a lot of the super-important items, and switch to sections as being complete. Likewise the really crucial things like pre-loading bolts into the structural sections are a real "blink and you'll miss it" type thing.
All up the quality of the materials is high to very high, the design itself is mediocre.. but it is really the instructions that let this unit down massively. What is most incredible about this is that Sproutwell have been around long enough that they could've easily have updated their instructions by now. It's poor that they haven't invested more effort into one of the most important elements required for DIY construction such as this. Please create a proper step-by-step set of instructions that layout clearly the quickest way to build this greenhouse.

Flimsy, falls appart very easily – Purchased the Mini Growstarter. So flimsy. The design uses half holes that the bolts sit in and just pop out of constantly. but zero clues as to which ways brackets face, overly complex pieces that don't secure properly where a simple bolt hole would have worked perfectly and so much more. Doors don't close properly. Pieces literally fall appart because apparently putting holes all the way through for bolts to secure it firmly is not how it is done for this product.
