which is just the worst policy ever in 2026 when people are shopping online more than ever, without the chance to try things on. I went online to find a replacement item, everything is wrong size, wrong style, and same poor quality that I received in the first place. I'm now stuck with $175 sitting in limbo ("store credit") that I may never use, and of course it has to be used in the next 11 months. What a stressful waste of time and money. I am going to have to waste that money now, on something silly that I absolutely do not need, like a scarf or earrings. So frustrating. Yes - they have the return policy stated on their website. No - it doesn't meet modern consumer needs especially in a cost of living crisis.

I explained I did not want a store credit as the dresses do not suit me. After several email and arguments via chat. It is impossible to speak to anyone. I contacted ACCC who informed me that their no refund policy is illegal. I sent them a copy of the email and after a few days I was informed by St Frock that this would be a once off refund. A refund was received after 5 days. This must be one of the wrost companies out. No customer service. They are rude aggressive and I will never be buying anything again.

dresses I bought did not have any care instructions or label stating the material. I assume it will need a cold, gentle wash or hand wash.

The material feels cheap, not soft to the touch, crumples and will get lines with use.

I believe these are made overseas and sold with a very high mark up - the busts were made for A cup and at most B cup despite being size 14.

I looked at the plus size model again and her bust was cut off so it was not false advertising, i failed to notice how it was not made for a larger bust. The bust elastic is positioned on the bottom of the breasts creating an unflattering shape.

had to email them twice just to get a response. Only after chasing them did they finally reply and say they would only provide a store credit. This is incredibly frustrating and feels very unfair. When customers receive items that are clearly mis-sized, they should be entitled to a proper refund—not forced to spend more money with the same company. the dress to be sent to me (total cost of the dress plus postage $80), I am reluctant to pay again to post it back. The actual dress was on sale for $69.95 so that is all I will have to spend on a replacement but I will actually have spent more than $90.

If you are aware of this and are happy to take the risk all good, but if you prefer a business that pays the postage for returns so you can buy a dress and try it on at home knowing you can return it if you don't like it give St. Frock a miss.

I have had a terrible experience with StFrock. I ordered a dress which did not fit. I went through all the proper steps in October to return it. It has been marked as ‘return complete’ but I have not received a refund. I have sent three emails and have had no reply at all. Very disappointing as the clothes on the site are lovely but I will certainly not be buying again.

store credit. There is nothing I want from that store, so they have effectively stolen my money. They also say you have 30 days to return - unfortunately this means from date of purchase, not date or parcel receipt. So if you live rurally, and your parcel takes more than a week to arrive, you only have a couple of weeks to make sure you get the return in. There is absolutely no leeway with any of these policies, they do not care as they already have your money. With the abundance of wonderful online shopping in 2026, it is only a matter of time before St Frock either goes under, or changes their archaic policies. Don’t purchase from them.

Be aware when you purchase from them!! This was my first and last purchase from them. I returned purchased dress to them the very next morning. I received an email from them saying that returned dress has an odour. I couldnt zip that dress, let alone wear it, and it was returned very next morning to them. them all, so I removed the tags and washed them ready to wear. When I tried to wear 2 of the items, a top and a dress, they had shrunk in the wash and no longer fit (the other was fine). I contacted customer care to ask what to do, as I wasn’t sure how to return the items given the tags had been cut off. What has ensued since is over a week of back and forth with them refusing to help me. I was told to iron the items and that would fix them - it didn’t. I was then told I had to measure the items and send the measurements and photos back to them. I said that’s fine but I don’t have a tape measure so would need to be a ruler, and would do my best. No response. I sent the images the next day. Their next email told me they couldn’t see from the pictures what I had measured (?!) and to write back and tell them the measurements I took. I did that. Then they emailed back saying they couldn’t see the measurements in the photos (?!) and I’d need to do it again.

At this point I told them not to forget it. It was very clear they were just kicking the can down the road and refusing to take responsibility for their faulty clothes.

I recognise that for the price you pay, these clothes are going to be pretty low quality. And that’s okay. But if the clothes are faulty as in this case, you would expect the company to try and rectify the issue by providing a replacement (if they are adamant this isn’t usually an issue with the product, as is the case here) or a refund.

I definitely will not be shopping at St Frock again and I’d caution others too. There are plenty of reasonably priced stores with far superior customer service that would be grateful for your business.

Guys , just warning if you are going to place an order from this company. Their dresses are low quality, and looks cheap. I have a few St Frock items. They are pretty, but the sizing is not right. I am a size M-L, 12-14 yet a dress in M is way too big on me. I then bought a S/M top which is also too big. them at the moment but there is nothing on their site I would like and I’m not prepared to pay more postage and risk getting another dress which is incorrect sizing to be caught in the trap again. I just have to accept that I have lost my money. I feel the refusal to provide refunds is discrimination against physically disabled people like myself who rely on online shopping. Consumer law should protect customers who shop online because they are not afforded the opportunity to try on the item and sizings today are so diverse. Avoid this company at all costs. Surprise, surprise the dress I ordered which was again a 10 was so small I could hardly get it on. So from gigantic size 10’s to now one that is smaller than the size 8’s I also wear.
