Starlink is first class

I live in Outback Australia, the NBN is terrible here drop outs, the unreliable connection and low speeds, plus NBN Co., increased the price and made it more difficult to have faults rectified, so I signed up to Starlink in frustration five months ago, and if ever there was a great service for access to the internet, Starlink is it, the speeds are amazing most often between 200 Mbps and 400 Mbps, completely reliable and superfast. Streaming is no longer a problem. Customer service is also, superb.
The attached speed test, is with a VPN active. Show details

Don't waste your time or money

Absolutely infuriating. If there is cloud in the sky or walls in your house you will spend more time than the old dial up internet ringtone. For the price I pay the service I receive is ridiculous. I've now gone back to my DVD collection and it runs smoother than this crap I spend $140 a month on. Show details

Why would a Big Company need fraud to survive?

Worth Every Cent ~

Moved from Optus $59 unlimited 4G WiFi (Fast enough in urban areas in Australia) to Starlink $1 trial..
When I looked at the incredible technology of the 3rd gen antenna (very easy to set and forget) the price is justified. No more waiting or Drop outs ~ Upload videos & Photos now in seconds. After just 1 week of the trial we're not hesitating in continuing with Spacex's amazing coverage... Elon Musk has provided the planet with instant communication. Truly 'next level' for users outside urban coverage or in fringe areas. Congratuations SpaceX Show details

Starlink Terrible Dropouts

Set up. 3mt extension on high performance antenna. Speed 150 Mbps plus. Yet Starlink claims to have 94% obstruction. Like I live in a hole inth ground with only one small exit. Obstruction map show less than 40% obstructions. Data is not reflected accurately or correctly.
Internet drops out every 10 to 20 seconds. Not able to get better signal. So much for high speed internet. Yes it is there. You just can't use it. I can't even make a wifi phonecall. So now totally cut off. Paid extra for better. Worse than Vodafone Australia reception. Terrible. Unuseable and damaging to any projects you may have. Not on response from starlink for the last month. Show details

Terrible Customer Service

I paid $700 for a Starlink system that never worked. Their customer service is POOR at best. I have asked for a refund, Starlink is not giving me an option for a refund. Every time I reach out to customer service I get nothing but excuses, I can not get a competent person on the phone to help me nor will a competent person reach back out to me to help me. Nothing but excuses and lies from this companies customer service dept.

24/7 Support is a blatant Lie

I decided to get myself the Starlink system, I was in a caravan park with minimal reception for Telstra 5g. It worked great for the 3 weeks that I was at the one caravan park, then on my travels, I arrived at the next location. and this is where the fun began. there is a comment about 24/7 support (that is a lie) I've opened ticket after ticket to get support to assist me with my queries, but not one was answered. i threatened to cancel if they didn't contact me to resolve my issues. and I cancelled it! I honestly do not believe that there is anyone working in the support department. its FAQ's and a thumbs up or down if this resolved the issue ONLY, absolute waste of time if you are traveling I found out

Tech company with no one working

My router exploded in the house after 12 months. There is no support staff as this is one of Elons “streamlined” companies. If you live stream at all the upload speed is straight butt and drops every few minutes. If you only care about download then you’ll be happy until you need help with something. Then you just need to goto the bank to stop this company from taking money from your account Show details
