Bought a right hand side trim seal part for my SMEG dishwasher from Statewide Apppliance Spares at $27.95 plus shipping. When I asked about buying the left hand side trim seal they wanted $80! Extortionate price difference based on whether it was in stock or not. The left was not in stock. A week later I decided I really did need the left hand… Read more

side and I found two other online shops (.com.au websites) selling the identical genuine SMEG part for $19.95 and $27.95 plus shipping respectively. $19.95 Vs $80 is 4 times the price difference - just ludicrous!. So I rang State Wide to query their $80 price plus shipping price. TWO Customer Service reps tried to tell me about THEIR business problems. I have spent a LOT of money with spare parts at Statewide Appliance spares in recent years but after this fiasco I will NEVER buy from them again and I would not recommend them as a supplier. Dont get ripped off. Shop around to other spare parts providers!

I order spare parts and I pay extra express postage it's advertising in 2 days but forgot to sent when I send email about item not received next day send tracking number I don't recommend to buy online because they don't check until you call them and still waiting my item

Paid for Express delivery which they state is 1-3 Business Days. On checking tracking I am told its 1 - 3 business days AFTER its Dispatched (normally 2 days). The staff were helpful and offered to refund the difference so the customer support was good. Show details ·  1

I have bought replacement Air Conditioner, Electric Fan, and TV Remote Controls over the last three years from Statewide Appliance Spares, South Australia. Required a new gas burner ring cap for gas stove top, somehow went missing, and was given Statewide's number to ring after contacting online the manufacturer. diagram and part number and was incorrect, even with photos and measurements supplied, and given Statewide's phone number to ring. Statewide could supply but coming from interstate, and placed and paid for order. Next day found the cap and was able to cancel order. They have a wide variety of products available Australia wide, and their customer service is outstanding. Highly recommend them.

we're really dealing with. Statewide replied to my admission of a mistake within the hour with a plan for an order cancellation and refund. Best of all is that I now have a 'go-to' supplier that I can trust implicitly.

 Follow-up  · My mistake happened jumping from link to link chasing a (now) obscure vacuum cleaner bag. The part number was a digit off but (after 20 minutes of searching) digit-fatigue had set in.

This site is a scam. I never received a shipping notification nor the part, and when I tried to call the number was disconnected and the email bounced back. ** Update: after I posted this review, statewide appliance spares got in touch and I have been very happy with their customer service. Show 3 replies

People do not ring LG for your spares I made that mistake 1.1/4 hours on phone and got no where looking for a air conditioner part told the girl the part number I was after she told me no such part . I rang state wide spares got a man called Alex told him what part I was after he can back with the part number I told LG lady two days later it arrived and I installed it . Very poor customer service - website says to call before order and you call and stay on hold for extended times. they warn you but no choice. Very High Call Volumes - day after day. Pathetic Bought elsewhere.

Spares at alot cheaper price than in a store and they deliver in like 2 days. Honestly they have spare parts for everything. You can build what you need from scratch almost. 10/10! Absolutely love this store

organizing a part to be sent out...when the part arrived unfortunately the contractor who sent the part sent a different part as the part we needed had become obsolete. Ringing to advise Sate Appliance Spares. Nothing was too much trouble and a credit was given immediately they found out the part had become obsolete...with no mention of sending the part we received back to them....as this was not in the best interest of either party. Thank you again State Appliance Spares for the best service we have had in many a year with a company of any sort...public or private...Cheers Charmaine and Mark......

Ray the best customer service personnel – I specifically like to call out Ray who helped me in sorting out the spare part I ordered. Ray was so dedicated to look for info, sent me pictures and we exchanged the pictures of the product I received. Ray spent a lot of time trying to get this sorted out. Even though the part was correctly matched to the model number but strangely unable to fit my appliance - no if no but the company refunded me the money straight away. Show details ·  1

So Helpful – I couldn't be happier with this company. They helped me search for the part I was looking for which wasn't easy. When it arrived, it didn't fit my machine but only because the part had changed over the years. When I asked them about a refund, they were more than happy for me to return it and refunded me Less the postage. It all happened seamlessly and they were so friendly and happy to oblige. Right spare part delivered in time – I ordered a water dispenser lever for our LG fridge which broke sometimes back (when would manufacturer's learn that making frequently stressed parts with plastic is a bad idea!). It was not in stock but at supplier; but still was delivered in a week. The spare part details page has good information about what model it's intended for which makes it easy to order the correct part. Show details ·  1

Excellent service; efficient, organised, well priced, helpful staff – I've ordered parts for old appliances and they have been able to locate them: I bought attachments for a Korean vacuum cleaner, clip for a dishwasher pull out tray (o's so took a while), stand mounting screws for an old tv. Awesome company – Needed a part for an electric mower. I couldn't find a parts diagram online. Contacted this company (Toj) who was super helpful. Within 10 minutes he had emailed a diagram, I was impressed. He also emailed the manufacturer to confirm the part number and had an answer back to me within an hour. LG Washing Machine Lid Replacement – Order placed and goods received in good condition and in short time. Upon fitting to machine noticed that a small item was missing but after contacting Statewide they were able to rectify it and produce the items at no extra cost. Outstanding – Outstanding Puppy had a nibble at our washing machine seal…oops. Website was easy to navigate and find the part with our model number. Placed an order around 11am the Wed before Xmas (which was Sun) and paid the extra for express still thinking it would get to us the next week. Friday 2pm it arrives!! Well done. Fantastic service

Awesome Service – I ordered some air conditioner filters and was told they wouldn’t arrive for 4-5 months. I decided to wait and they were sent early. Unfortunately I had put in an old address. When I followed up on the order they were long gone. As I hadn’t received notification of the delivery Statewide to their credit resent all items at their expense. Would definitely recommend them.
