contact Stax. Update- Betta head office contacted Stax and managed to get Stax to reply by email. They say my order will be delivered next week. Update- Got my stovetop. Stax is not worth the hassle.

phone, social media—with no response whatsoever. Out of frustration, I even contacted neighboring businesses near their warehouse just to try and get some answers.

Eventually, I discovered they are associated with the Betta Electrical group. Thankfully, the Betta head office staff were helpful, and with their involvement, I finally received an email response—three days later. By that point, I had lost all confidence in the company and requested to cancel my order. It still took another two days to process the cancellation, and I didn't receive my refund until 3.5 weeks after placing the order.

If you're considering buying from them, don't. Visit your local Betta Electrical store or look elsewhere. In my opinion, this business should be stripped of its franchise license and seriously reviewed for continued operation

I wish to cancel my order requesting a full refund, this I suspect will encourage their silence and will have to trust Mastercard can cancel the payment. If this was a scam I could believe it, otherwise it is dreadful customer service – don’t buy from this company.

Fast delivery, great service – I recently bought a Smeg microwave/grill from Stax. The delivery was fast and my item was excellent. I will keep Stax bookmarked if I need anymore appliances in the future.

said that there was an "error" and they can refund the money or send the item right way. I'd say they're borderline incompetent or a really good scam expecting people to just give up on the purchase.

Don't trust the reviews pop-ups from reviews.io as the 5 star ones are clearly fake (short and no detail.) Same for the Google Reviews. Likely same here. Looking in Google Maps at the store location, it's an industrial area with no branding.

the phone sounded like anticipating the fire...I asked him where it would be and he replied with a drugged up voice "...i apologise the delay...we order it from Fissler" which is a total scam as Fissler says on its own website "sold out". I then asked "Fissler Australia or Fissler who?" and he replied "we get it from our supplier", but he did not even want to talk about his supplier! What a shame when it feels and sounds like robots are sitting there for cashing in some money. Would I wait until the 7th day before dispatching a highly essential item? And he could not tell either where the pressure cooker is at the moment. So I asked for a refund and he willingly decided to give me my money back with determination...normally you would try to decline this request and figure out the item or put the customer on priority. Now let's see if the refund comes or my bank would have to compensate via chargeback. This company is a full scam and I feel sorry for the employees who cover up for another unknown shady company which does not want to fix supply issues or in the worst case might not even exist. Even the reviews on their website are according to my experience mostly fake just to lure the customers...would be a wonder if you survive the market with that sort of customer service and internet presence. still had not received a reply. I contacted them again via a "care" email address found on their website but did not receive a reply after waiting another 2 business days. I filed a dispute with PayPal and Stax did not respond to the dispute in 10 days, so I received a full refund thankfully. Terrible business ethics and am not sure why they are still allowed to trade, as it's obvious from reviews that they have scammed many other people.

advice - if you think the deal is too good to resist - order by phone. Since they never answer you will have saved yourself some money and heartache. Can't believe that Paypal still accept payments on their behalf. This site state that STAX monitor the reviews. I look forward to hearing from STAX and updating the review to say they have refunded my money. No update = no refund.

UPDATE on 11 Nov 2021 I asked my bank to open a credit card dispute. Looking at the review history of this company they seem to run a legitimate business in Sydney and rip off everyone who orders from interstate.

Unacceptable trading behaviour – Item ordered and paid for. No communication from seller whatever and no delivery of product. My attempts to establish the status of the order were ignored. Weeks later I "raised a dispute" on the website which was also ignored. I then made a complaint with Paypal for a refund which so far has been ignored. I am now in the process of going through Dept of Fair Trading. Also questioning how Miele can use distributors like this that ultimately ruin their market reputation. and an email reply arrived saying they would contact me with ETA the next day...another week goes by...I requested a full refund and cancelled the order (as offered in the last email from Stax)... No reply, no refund, no product!!! I then realised (8 weeks on from original order date) from reading other reviews this is a common scam that has happened to many others, Stax never give a refund. SO...called my bank, arranged a CHARGEBACK on my credit card, which appeared the same day in my account, and there was nothing further to do but go and buy the microwave from a reputable company that delivered the appliance to me the following day.
