Don’t expect after sales service! – We had Stegbar external double doors on our build 20 years ago..we need to have the draft seals replaced. I contacted Stegbar in QLD because they no longer service WA. They sent my enquiry to South Australia and since then complete silence. Be warned! Show details

Thanks AJ! – There isn’t any Stegbar dealer in WA so it is difficult to get replacement parts. After weeks of getting nowhere with miscommunications I was getting nowhere. A quick 5 minute phone call from AJ solved the problem. He identified the correct part and quickly sent it. Thanks AJ.

Richard the installer and his worker were also very professional and did a great job installing the wardrobes and also making sure everything was good before they left. The office staff were also so helpful on advising us of the installation date and time. We have recommended Stegbar to our family and friends. Our first Stegbar wardrobe was installed about 18 years ago in the main bedroom and we are still extremely happy with it. Best Service – Dealt with John Newman Perth & he went above & beyond service. I needed spare part for shower screen. Took my call while on holiday. Good service and great product – We are really pleased with our newly glassed in back verandah. Craig very helpful & Jamie did an excellent installation job. Just a bit slow but love the end result.

Not great customer service – This is the second time we have used these guys when building, and it’s been the same experience both times. Great customer service until after you have paid,.. and then you’re forgotten.

woman [name removed] i think her name was she said oh i haven't check my messages yet. Being an office manager or a person doing schedules you think that would be the first thing you do in the morning. She then went ahead to tell me the screen got damaged so it can't be fitted. So i would have to have it done tomorrow that was fine but I wanted it done in afternoon so i didn't have to take another day of work was told it couldn't be done. STEGBAR I'm your customer I tell you what I want and when I want it installed not other way around. Especially after you break the screen you should be more obliging.

Don't bother – After 3 was of trying to get someone out for a quote for fly screen replacement and numerous phone calls they didn't even bother to turn up. Customer service is woeful! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME

Lies – We paid $800 for a shower consisting of one panel and a door. The panel and door frame come apart, they broke my light fitting in the hall no recompense promised to come out to fix it between 8 am 9am as I had a hospital appointment didn't want to cancel as it was very important they are Cowboys no pride in their work and as for the office staff they give you the most stupid excuses do they think we're morons.

put it in so quick even our builder was surprised. Afterwards we lost the keys but were given replacement keys free of charge. After it was installed our builder inspected it and was very happy with the finished product. Everybody we spoke to, from our sales person to the office girls to the installation guys were all very friendly and helpful. I would definitely use them again.

April 17th 2018 Update: STEGBAR PERTH

How these people exist in the Building industry is beyond me. From the initial call to get a quote and the total lack of interest from [name removed] the Rep , The product was not what i ordered and the icing on the cake was [name removed] who tried to tell me the issue was my fault and wanted to charge me to fix their issues. I have read the other Reviews and it is plainly obvious that [name removed] has been very busy writing his own reviews maybe to keep his job. You dont fool me.

Semi-Frameless Shower Screen – excellent pre-sales from John and first class installation by Giuseppe. Given other issues with other trades during the renovation of the bathroom, it was great when something went as promised. I would highly recommend the company and both staff members. After install there was a slight leak. The problem was recitified within a few days. Again great service

1st rate – first class service from 1st call to very helpfull representative, ordered the robe, given an install date that suited me. the fitter was the best workman i have had in my home. would highly recommend them

Appalling Service – I wish I had read these reviews prior to purchasing wardrobes for 2 rooms in my new house. finally showed up to install I was told the measurements they took initially were wrong. The doors had to be returned for adjusting. These were due to be installed today (date moved again). Given previous events I should not have been surprised that no one showed up, no phone call was received to advise otherwise and I'm still waiting for the doors....

Won't even be bothering to get a quote – I wish I had read these reviews before I wasted my time visiting Stegbar today. what I wanted and 10 mins later he came back with a quote for something COMPLETELY different to my request. He sighed loudly when I asked him to redo the quote. Then he brought over the catalogue of designs and rudely growled "Well which one do you want?".

I have used Inner Space wardrobes in the past and they were excellent, I only popped in to Stegbar today to see what alternatives there were. I now see the "alternative" and will be contacting Inner Space to do the work instead.

Bad customer service, dodgy fix – I have built a house through builders, and it was not my choice to use Stegbar. When the six month maintenance came up, I asked for one shower screen to be replaced, as it was fixed only on the wall and bottom of the bathtub area (and therefore, was completely flimsy and hazardous if someone were to lean on it). around to book a time, their service over the phone is appalling and when the guy came around, he said he just couldn't do anything about it and I'd have to rebook a time. When he returned, a very dodgy fix was performed "because that is what was agreed with the builders".

Very little pride in their work, product and service. I do not recommend.

Empty promices and master of excuses – Recent reno's to our house. heading over seas and not one call back. Finely they called to say they could fit the windows a week after we had left for Europe so we had to leave a key with them. Four weeks later while we were still in Europe they sent us the account via Email, we didn't reply. On our return to Perth we found the work was not complete, so once again many phone calls to get someone out to look at the uncompleted work. Three weeks later we are still waiting to have it finished and they have now got the hide to send us a threating Email to pay up the balance.

Terrible workmanship and quality control – I purchased over $20000 worth of aluminium windows and French doors from Stegbar in Wangara for my house renovation. Stegbar (or their supplier) decided to change the style of the key lockable winder for my awning windows half through my renovation project. worse the tradesman who installed my Colonial glazing bars was as blind as a bat. Even though he wore glasses as thick as the bottom of glass coke bottle he still could not cut the glazing bars to the correct measurements. As soon as he left my property the glazing bars started falling off one by one. After three return visits to reinstall the bars I decided to give up and trim the bars to size and install them myself.

The first time I cleaned my windows I noticed the little plastic lugs that hold the fly screen in place were in fitted in different locations to connecting window that was beside it. Even the fly screen pullers were installed randomly. From my experience with Stegbar I don't believe they have a very good quality control system and won't be dealing with them in the future My windows look great from a distance Terrible quality control, poor workmanship
