Stokked with my Stokke – 6 years ago my first bub won this pram in a national competition, I am now using for my 2nd child and even 6 years later it does not dissapoint. Still to this day I get compliments everywhere I go. The pram is lightweight, you can chop and change the textiles and my bub loves facing forward when she is alert and loves lying back and looking at me… Read more

when she is on the tired side. I would never go back to any other stroller now that I have this one, and since receiving this pram I have bought many other products which also do not disspoint.

Not worth the price – This pram is stylish but not practical. A huge downfall with this is that it is easy to topple over if you decide to hang your baby bag on the stroller. There isn't a basket/carrier for you to place your baby bag. You can buy the pouch that sits on the stroller base. However, it is flimsy and easily slides of the stroller if not attached… Read more

securely.

It is a big stroller. When folded up it is chunky and takes up a lot of boot space. The brakes are annoying as you have to bend down to unlock. In saying all this, it is easy to maneuver, adjust in size and position and to assemble and unasemble.

Overall, it's an average stroller for me. If I was to get another stroller I would really consider the compactability of a stroller when it is folded up and the convenience of the breaks.

Great to maneuver with and stylish – I used this stroller as a nanny going from the summer, well into the winter until my boss relocated to Japan. I loved this stroller so much I will be purchasing it for my little muffin in the oven in a few months. I've used it with one hand while drinking coffee, opening doors or holding baby; when entering stores with high steps an easy push down… Read more

& then up technique sent me on my way. Diaper bag was good enough for me, I packed her toys, extra diapers/wipes, food & was even able to fit a few of my things when I wanted to. It does turn heads and you will get asked questions even with a basic color & I thought that was cool to push around such a stylish stroller. Loved that she was so close to play with, comfort or talk to with out having to bend and if I needed to change her where there were no tables I could use the stroller easily by leaning it back a little.

Fantastic stroller! – Love the look and the feel of this stroller! Comfortable, easy to handle and steer, high up so baby can feel close to us. I use this if we are going to be walking for a few hours (such as going to zoo) or when we are eating out. The stroller doubles as high chair (not for eating though because it will be messy) in a restaurant. Baby is less fussy… Read more

because she can see what's on the table and she feels like she is part of the adults. I have a small car (Ford Fiesta) but this fits in the boot. It won't fit much else though so whenever we plan to shop a lot (such as a week's worth of grocery), we will leave this at home and use a baby carrier instead. I didn't bother buying the bassinet because I bought maxi cosi mico capsule with the converter so when she was a newborn, we used the capsule instead. I also purchased the cup holder (very useful) and the Think King Mighty Buggy Hook (to hang bags/shopping bags) to use with this stroller.

I love my stokke! – Best baby item I've brought so far. My son loves sitting in his pram, he is able to see me at a good level and interact. I don't like the idea of people's shopping banging into him. I have a normal pram. He hates it. Cries to get out after less then 10mins. He is unable to see past people's knee and shopping bag. Easy to fold and unfold. You get what you pay for.

The best pram EVER! – I use my Stokke Xplory a LOT, especially for walking and catching buses and trains and it is simply the best, most sturdy and robust pram out there. Easy to steer, even with one hand and shopping in the other! I've got a few (Phil and Teds, Steelcraft, plus grandma's Bugaboo) and this is just the easiest one to use. It's a large pram so takes up… Read more

boot space, so probably not for those with a very small car. We used ours from newborn (2 weeks old) without a bassinet. The infant insert makes the base flat and we lined it with a warm blanket. Bubs would sleep in it very easily. It faces you or the front, and at 18 months we still have bubs facing us. It's very high up, so you're both on a similar level and this is amazing for interaction. We've used it in cafes sometimes when a high chair wasn't available. We've even used it for nappy changes when at places that don't have change tables! The shopping bag is deceptively big - I can fit 3 large shopping bags into it (with a bit of tetris-like manoeuvring!) and you can get a nappy bag that clips on the front that is very functional and look great.

And yes, of course this is the most beautiful pram out there. But it's more that just good looks, it's just so practical! Plus there's a seven year warranty!! I'd highly recommend this pram to mums and dads that spend lots of time out and about, on day trips, excursions and those that do lots of walking. Solid, sturdy, practical, great for those who are active and spend lots of time out and about. Not so great for those with small cars

Only buy this if your have a BIG car – I have a Ford Falcon and my xplory fills up most of the boot. It is a nightmare to fold/unfold the pram when you see other parents get their prams out and go in just 5 secs. And it is very not stable on a grassland/bumpy road. I now worry about the safety of my kid in the pram as it doesn't really have any cushioning on side/bottom. Not sure… Read more

it is a plus or not, when you are driving this pram you will get a lot of comments and attention from others which is quite annoying to me because they usually ask you to show them how the seat can be adjusted etc.

I paid $2200 for pram + bassinet because I like the idea of the kid sitting up high. But now I think I was a fool because my kid doesn't like sitting on pram since 1 yr old. And when he is on xplory, he only sleeps....so what is the difference between a $300 "usual" pram and this $1600 up high pram???

I put that on ebay and only got $800 back for a 2 yr old. so $1400 for a pram...which can only be used 2 years. A very stupid mistake. pretty design, sit up high not cruising smoothly, too expensive

This pram is a joke – I regret paying $1500 for such a plastic pram which is heavy and bulky. My OH insisted getting this pram because it obviously is eye catching and pretty. But it lacks of the practical side of a pram. The push and walk on a smooth ground is fine (mind you -a $19 pram can scoot smoothly on smooth ground too). but once you get it onto a… Read more

grassland or bumpy road, your kid would feel so bumpy that he can't keep sleeping. I can't believe for this price it doesn't have any air cushioning!

The worst bit is when it comes to folding the pram into the car. I have a Honda Accord and it fills up my whole boot. There is no room for a bay of grocery!

if you are driving a hatch and small car, please don't even think about this pram. You will need your 2nd row seat folded for most of the time....

The paints on the wheel/frame fell off so easily.

I have to admit the design of its high seating position is very clever and smart. But you surely don't want your baby to use it as a high chair because if the fabric gets a stain or dirty, it is $200+ for another set.

You will need another pram if you are thinking to travel overseas with the baby. Because it is a joke when you try to get it on and off the plane/car. You won't have hands/space for your other luggages.

Although it says it suits 0-4yr old, it is not very flat for a newborn to sleep in. So a bassinet is a must.

So after paying that $1500, you still need another $300 for an okay pram to travel. May also need another $300 for a capsule/bassinet for the baby.

This definitely is an attention seeking pram but I seriously not recommend to the mums who put baby's safety and comfort and practical for the first priority. Design, high sitting position Pricey, heavy, not practical, not comfortable

The best pram hands down! – I just bought this pram in the last week and what can I say but.... amazing. I was very stupid to buy the new iCandy and used it for the past 3 months and decided it was a no go. I went out and bought the Stokke Xplory V3 and it's the best decision I have made for my baby. Firstly, the design is so eye catching and everyone comments on how… Read more

great the pram looks -from all ages and walks of life. The weight of the pram is what made me buy it - it's so light and easy to manoeuvre you can literally do a 360 on any terrain.

My little one is now 3 months old and I never bought the bassinet as he loves sitting up and looking up and around. He's 70cm long and fits in the back recline perfectly and is also at eye level when we are at restaurants.

This would be one of the best things about the pram - Melbourne is not baby friendly and having a pram that's high up and easy to swivel around is great. What I also love is the fact I don't even need to collapse the base to put it in my car, it can roll on in and roll out when I need it, the chair just clicks out in a quick motion and is super comfortable for my baby.

I honestly can't say enough great thing about this pram, yet the only downside for me is the lack of the shopping basket at the base like most prams, this has a bag that isn't big enough for most items and I bought some nappies yesterday and they were too big for the bag, and then carting them back to the car with one hand on the pram and holding all my groceries and nappies was a challenge, yet with all things I will learn how to get better at it! (or just buy less)

I have the new grey fabric and it's terrific. So stylish and everyone just loves the design. I paid $1599 at The Baby Gallery and probably could have found it cheaper yet they have great service. So light, easy to manouvre and everyone just loves the stylish design! No basket, yet I'll get used to the baby bag attached to the base

Parents should choose the right strollers for baby's convenience, safety and more importantly lifestyle. This stroller is useful for parents like us who travel often. We can fold it easily and can be stashed in a car trunk without taking too much space.

Safety feature, check. Convenience feature, check, Accessories, check. Strokke Xplory for me is my all-around stroller. Simply amazing.

Love It! – The best decision I made was purchasing this pram. It's so functional that it's a breeze to take my 12 month old out in it whether it's simply to go to the park, shopping centres, cafés/restaurants or overseas. literally with one hand if need be. Taking the pram to cafés and restaurants is great. The seat can be adjusted to sit completely upright and turns into a highchair.

I didn't bother buying the bassinet, as the seat lies down flat and there's plenty of padding. The accessories I bought were the cup holder, change bag, traveller pram pack and the blanket which attaches to the pram by studs so never have to worry about losing the blanket and it fits snugly over the hood for privacy.

I could go on forever about the pram, it has so many more functions like being able to convert to take on an escalator safely because the shopping centre I was in at the time didn't have a working lift (overseas). It was so easy to travel with, the pram pack has wheels and folds up when not in use for easy storage.

I also take this stroller while I go for my run on a daily basis.

I highly recommend this stroller! It's very cool, stylish, functional and so easy to handle Was a little difficult to collapse at first but once it's been done a few times it's easy to do

You get what you pay for!!! – We bought the Stokke because we initially liked the look of it. My baby is now 11 months and we are so glad we decided to pay the extra and buy the best for him. things and the interactions he gets from strangers too. We live in inner Sydney, so we often dine in cafes and restaurants. The Stokke converts to a high chair and so we never have to use the ones from the restaurants (which can be dirty at times). Another advantage of the height is when we are stuck for change rooms, we can change our baby in the pram. Its amazing!!! We don't have to bend down at all. Because the shopping bag is at the front of the pram and due to its design, my husband's stride is not affected when he pushes the pram (he is very tall, 188cm). The handle bar also adjusts to accommodate his height as well. There is no need to purchase the bassinet as the standard seat has enough padding for a newborn. We purchased it but didn't find it very useful. The footmuff on the other hand is wonderful. We didn't need to worry about blankets in winter, we just popped him in the footmuff and he slept soundly. Accessories we purchased included: the change bag (useful), cup holder (very useful), parasol (still undecided on how useful), footmuff (very useful), bassinet (not useful). Overall, we love the Stokke. We are expecting another baby in November so our son will be 18 months. We may need another pram but just can't bring ourselves to not use the Stokke. put the pram together. I wish I bought this with my first child, my back would have thanked me?

Size for baby to 4 years:

This pram will take you from newborn till your baby is ready for school. The newborn insert means you do not need to splash put on the bassinet. It is snug and cosy for a newborn and does a great job as is. It is better to invest in the foot muff for extra protection from the wind and the cold. People complain that the extra products are expensive, however, you only buy what you need, and they are worth it. The pram is forward and rear facing which is perfect for the early years. It is higher than all prams on the market and has adjustable height. Stokke talks about bonding with your baby being an advantage. I didn't think much of this statement until I used it. It makes such a difference to baby! They are so relaxed and happy!

I put a 4 year old in it and he is tall. He sat comfortably. , there was enough room for him to move and snooze. He is about 18kg, and that is solid. The maneuverability was still fantastic.

Packing into car:

From experience, you need a degree to pack some prams! This one is exceptional. Take the time to loosen it up when you buy it, by packing and unpacking it. Once you do this it is a three step process to get into your car. If your boot is small, you can pack the chassis in the boot and the seat can go into the car. We have done this on long car trips when we needed boot space. Just be sure to strap the seatbelt on so it's secure( without the baby in it of course).

Accessories:

Buy the cup holder it's worth it, the foot muff, practical. I wish I bought the car seat and car seat adapter, as it would have made life much easier, but I already purchased a car seat before the baby was born. I bought the pram when the baby was three months old so I could test drive prams with him in it ( used an old one in the mean time).

Overall:

Stylish and practical! Best pram ever, no exceptions Amazing design that is practical, maneuverability, height, warranty, simplicity. Cannot be adapted for second child ( ie toddler seat)

flexibility of seat positions, and the fully reclined rear-facing position is easily flat enough for a newborn, so you don't have to pay for the bassinette. Easy to fold and unfold, no cross-bar to accidently kick and not too wide for aisles and supermarket check-outs like some of the other popular prams around at the moment. Love the ability to use it as a high chair as well! Position flexibility, child up high, manoevrability, quality. The only thing I don't like is the lack of a basket, but the bag at the front is much roomier than it looks, so it's a very small 'con'.

Baby loves being able to see everything being up so high, works really well in restaurants as can easily be used as a highchair.

My tall husband loves the height of the handles, height great for our back.

The foot rest has been updated so you only need one hand to adjust it (you previously needed two hands.

Love the additional and optional shade (flick it back upder if not needed) on the child seat which is an improvement on the last model.

Super easy to push with one hand.

Love the cupholder (additional) It does take initial practise to put the pram up and down - but like with any pram - once you know what you're doing - its very simple, can pack it up in under 10 seconds.

Dont like the back underneath side of child carrier seat when Im putting the pram away - as after unclipping the chair seat I need somewhere to rest it whilst I put away the frame. Annoyingly it's underneath side is now material and can get dirty very quickly - annoying to take off and have to clean.

Worth the price tag! – First off I love how this stroller accommodates a child up to 20.5kgs!! Most strollers only have a weight limit of 18kgs- which sucks! :( so this pram already wins at life :) I bought this stroller a month ago in preparation for our next child (next year) but we wanted more use out of it (seeing as we were paying a lot for it) so we're using it… Read more

for my 3yo, he's 15kgs and when I'm pushing him in the stroller I certainly can't feel it- the pram just glides so easily and turns without needing to put all my weight behind it. Which is a nice change, because I've gone through 4 strollers in three years trying to find the best one and I certainly think I've hit the jackpot in finding the one!! :)

I so love how close I am to my son- it makes shopping feel so much more comfier and relaxing because I'm that much closer to him- I can talk directly to his face rather than talk down to him like in other strollers. Plus I can tell my little boy feels like he's king of the castle gliding around in his stokke- he's always got a big smile on his face :)

I also love that I can keep him strapped in the stroller and lower the handlebar out of the way and it becomes a no fuss highchair! So it eliminated the need for getting him in and out, in and out, in and out of the stroller (which really hurts your back after a while! .... 15kgs isn't light!)

The removable shopping basket/bag truly does fit a lot of shopping in it very securely! and then at the end of the day, rather than having to unload the shopping basket and pack it in the car- which can be a task of its own! ....you just unclip the one strap on the shopping basket/bag and off it comes! -it even has a handle/shoulder strap so picking up the shopping basket/bag isn't at all awkward. You can put a whole basket of shopping in your car in one go! Taking a quarter of the time unloading a normal stroller shopping basket takes.

The only cons about this pram is that

* it technically isn't an all terrain stroller- you can take it across sand, grass etc... by one simple click and convert it into a 2 wheeler to pull behind you, but you wouldn't be able to take it across sand and grass very easily in the normal 4 wheeler mode :(

* It is a bit fiddly to set up and fold away because its a 2 part fold and it also takes a few practice goes to figure out how to use all the features- folding/unfolding, adjusting the handbar, seat height and recline etc...

Once you've mastered it all though and taken it out a couple of times- you relise this stroller really is worth the price in more ways than you'd ever know! You can't appreciate the awesomeness of this stroller until you've experienced it yourself! :) Reliable, Stylish, Has great steering, Good colour choice Expensive, Fiddly, Accessories are expensive- needs to come with more accessories with the stroller

at table height, watch the world go by and interacting with you which means you get to enjoy you coffee/lunch without speed eating. No getting baby in and out of the chair and thus risking a tantie at any given moment.

It took about 2 weeks to loosen up the mechanism for collapsing and engaging the chassis - after that it is a complete breeze (thank you youtube for the instructional video). It fits in the car fine. The two wheel mode is great when you have no choice other than stairs or an escalator.

It pushes like a dream!! It wasn't until we purchased our second travel pram that I understood how smooth a ride baby gets and how little push effort I have to give.

When we go to the zoo she can see over the fence at the animals and is not stuck looking from down below and it is super comfortable. Great ability to adjust foot rest so that baby is always comfortable. We purchased a package that included the bassinet - the standard baby insert works perfectly for a newborn (you don't need the bassie).

It comes with a heap of accessories for free - only really the cup holder to buy. Pro - everything this is just about the perfect pram. There is a toddler board & hopefully down the track there will be a two baby version. Some say it is expensive - I believe it is worth every penny!!

Excellent – Overall a great pram. Looked at just about all the prams on the market and a lot are great big things you'd need a four wheel drive to carry them with, are heavier and are much less wieldy in shops and cafes. The smaller Bugaboo Bee has baby way down near the ground and might be a problem for those with back problems and doesn't really have a… Read more

bassinett. Bugaboo Chamelean was a bit wobbly and the handle was slightly more fiddly to adjust. The Stokke won over the Chameleon due to it's looks, I didn't think the suspension on the Bugaboo front wheels was much good for anything and you can't adjust the height of bassinett or seat on the Bugaboo. Stokke also has room between the back wheels for your feet/legs to swing if you're tall.

When the seat is facing backwards, if you have the foot rest on about the third click down you don't need to remove it - just manouever it around the handle. I remove the footrest by grabbing the "legs" with each hand and flicking the little white levers with my thumbs and sliding down. The footrest is easier to work with in the new version of this pram as it has one catch to release.

I load the seat into the car first, shove that up the front of the boot sideways and them put the chassis in behind it (sideways also). If you've got anything in the bag, you need to take it off as it will swing around the chassis bar. the carry bag is very easy to remove - two poppers and the handle is right there for you to pick the bag up with.

The brake was getting a bit stiff to operate so I pulled the right rear wheel off, disassembled some of the brake assembly so I could remove the brake pedal and put Dry Glide on the bearing surfaces of the brake pedal. It's nice and smooth and easy to apply and release now.

Overall a great pram. A bit expensive but if you keep it clean and in good condition you can sell them for good money. Adjustable handle (up and down), reversible seat, can change the angle on the seat, narrow and very manoueverable. You can flip the back wheels up for rougher surfaces and take pram onto escalators (preferable to not have bub in the pram when you flip wheels back or take onto escalator!). Seat padding/material easyish to remove to wash (after bub spews on it). Slightly light-on for storage, could fold up a bit smaller but it's already fairly good in this regard. You need to learn the tricks for easy assembly/disassembly but once you do it's very quick to pull apart.

Excellent – Amazing and worth every cent. The height of your baby's position is the winner for the baby and your back and the lightweight design is great. Our baby loves being so high and so close to us while also being able to face us. The option to have her face us or outward is there too but we haven't tried that yet. The Stokke is so light, so easy to… Read more ·  1

push and so thin. You can fit it anywhere! There are so many movable options which make it so easy to use. The ability to have her sit up when awake or lay down for sleep with the flick of a button is brilliant. The expandable shopping back is excellent as well - much bigger than you would imagine and it safely keeps the contents contained, opposed to an under-pram basket. The way nappy bag clips onto the frame makes it so easy to take anywhere and everywhere. We also love the parasol as it so easy to adjust in order to keep the sun off her face when the sun just won't play fair.We test drove so many prams before we got this one. We were totally unimpressed by the Bugaboo range despite thinking that would be our first option. The height of the baby in our Stokke wins hands down over all the other prams we test drove. Besides having her close to us, getting her in and out is so easy on your back.Although not cheap and kind of strange looking, we love our Stokke! It does take initial repeated practice to fold up and down. Easy once you master it, but it's not conventional logic to me.While you could live without the foot rest, especially when the baby is small, when the baby is facing you, you have to take the foot rest off to dismatle the pram. It's not difficult, but you have to use two hands in order to press the buttons which hold it in place. This makes it annoying to especially putting it back on because you have to push it in with your "third hand?" or your knee. A one button option would have been better design. For the price, it does feel a little plastic, but I guess that helps keep it so light.
