Stoneline Cookware Questions & Answers
I have stone line red collection . They all have plastic handles with glass lids ! Can they go in a has or electric oven ???
Where can I purchase a replacement Stoneline saucepan knob for a lid. I was told when I purchased a full set of pans in 2013 that they had a guarrantee of 20 years+
I have a square pan with glass lid and aroma knob and whilst using this pan the glass has cracked nearly right across, is there somewhere I can send this to be replaced?
I have the same pan as you have. I love it BUT my lid shattered. Not whilst cooking but overnight in its usual storage place - flat surface, cool, nothing on top of it etc etc. I am wanting to replace my lid but am finding it impossible to contact stoneline.
Just an update on what I wrote yesterday. I went to external link (forget Australia - impossible to find). Pay no attention to the blue millionaire rubbish. On their website they have a contact email. Also they have the lid we require for on-line sale. I reckon it would cost about A$70 to get a lid sent to Australia. Anyway I told them what happened with my lid and asked for a contact in Australia. I told them that the telephone no. and address on my invoice were invalid. So I'll wait and see what they say. I did write to them some time ago and got no reply but I'm not sure that it went to the right place.
using gas stove and having a hard time keeping the outside of pots and frying pans clean any suggestions
Sorry, have only used on electric stove, but shouldnt be different from any other pan. May be your gas set up?
How do I rejuvenate stoneline frypan?
I've been dealing with the same issue recently and it's not easy or simple. On one pan I got too aggressive. (Oven cleaner aggressive and left it on too long) That pan is in the bin. The other smaller pan, I spent time working on it with a non scratch scouring pad. I did this in a process that started by boiling water in the pan (on gas) allowed it to cool so I could handle it, wiped it dry then with the pad on the dry pan, rubbed in small circles and gradually, the build up of what was burnt on fats and food particles came off. The end result - is't back to like new but it's 90%. My new cleaning process may improve it a little but I'm not hopeful.
Best advice I can offer readers: Stoneline products are okay provided they are looked after. This means cleaning them thoroughly after every use. I confess that we didn't do that and have paid the price - one pan lost.
Aside from this, it seems things have changed with Stoneline Australia because I can't find the online site where I bought our pans and going by comments from others about Stoneline, it seems their situation isn't as good as it used to be.
Have dropped my wonderful stone line pan and broke the handle where can I purchase a replacement in New Zealand?
Managed to order new handle from Dunedin Thanks all for yr help
I have a full set of pots and pans and have really looked after them. One frypan which is often used is loosing its coating. Is it still safe to use ?
As far as I am concerned you should not use a non stick item once it starts to loose is coating - not supposed to be safe
Similar thing has happened to couple of mine, after having them checked out they said all was ok, it was not anything to worry about and the pans was still safe. I was told to re Grease as I initially did and continue using. I did this and other than the seeing some of the coating coming off my product still still works as good as it always has even after 5 yrs. Still 100% satisfied. Good luck with yours.
Not sure but found it takes a while to heat them up then burns things quickly. Bought myself a couple of non stick from Kmart & an absolutely a dream even when I compare them to when my Stoneline was new!
what temperture can the pans get that be safe when it is heated ? Is there any no safe matter that come out when it is heated by high temperture ?thanks
you can use at any temperature so it's really good for wok cooking, but you can't use them in an oven over 220 as that would affect the handles. There is no smell or vapour present when you cook at high temperatures, and the surface remains the same. NOTHING sticks! Obviously I am a fan of these saucepans! I only use a paper towel and a bit of soapy water to clean them.
I purchased a set of Stoneline fry-pans and pots and the handle on the larger fry-pan has come loose from the pan.
Is it covered by warranty or not?
For the price you paid should be....contact them!
