available and she took off with a vengeance! I was totally blown away as I never thought anyone with that type of behaviour would have a job, let alone a customer service role. I asked her to takes breath and calm down and she then hung up on me. I really hope that phone call was recorded for “training purposes” as it’s a cracker (viral vibes for sure!) Jokes aside, she should be very ashamed of herself and I hope no one makes the mistake of hiring her elsewhere.

and tried and ended up going to another storage facility. Then recieved a Barrage of nasty nasty texts stating i had not contact her and she had rang me several times to help. I asked her provide a log of these calls as she definatley didnt help me . Disgusting treatment and adding to the stress of moving. Will NEVER recommend them. The number she rang on and text on, i couldnt return her calls she had no return calls on the settings, how on earth are we to call her and discuss issues.... what an absolutely disgusting response from a reputable business.

I have been a user of Storage King for close 20 years. Pricing was fair before being taken over by Abacus investment company prices have gone through the roof. The only assistance from staff is like, don't like it sod off. Storing with them is not longer a viable option.

location. Call different locations to secure a cheaper price and lock it in now! Save your money - it adds if you are looking to secure a unit for 6 months or longer. If you call one location and they tell you that you can only pay on a monthly basis then hang up and call other locations. I have saved over $180. I remember I started paying $99 each month and I locked in 12 months at that price but today forget it, each couple of months the price goes up. I was told Storage King review their costs every 6 months which doesn't seem the case with my storage unit at Mulgrave Victoria.

sucked in with the one month free, they will claw that back with fees and in my case an 18% increase within a few months. Anytime you question fees and charges the response is always "its in the contract".

The BAD, There is little to no lighting, so you will need to take a lantern or torches. The unit I had, lost some room because of a support beam, so I couldn't stack items against both walls. If its raining, don't bother going, there is no cover whatsoever. There are not any loading areas, so its can be awkward if there is more than one person using that entrance. The security at the facility seems good, though there are three very basic flaws that I picked up on. But I did not have anything of any great value there. If I did, I wouldn't use that facility, and the locking mechanism on the doors is very basic. The security is set up to protect them first, the storage a very distant second.

The NASTY, whatever you do, dont pay late, they will back on a very hefty fee over 15% of the monthly rental, and you will be bombarded with emails, texts and in my case three phone calls in three minutes, they will just keep calling until you pick up, and if you have a secondary contact, they will board them too. Serious overkill for $145. It gave me the impression that they were going bust and that I would turn up there one day and the facility would be closed up.

In summary , shop around, you will get a better deal, and definitely look at the long term costs. Ask them when they are going to put the prices up and by how much.

Disappointed everything was eaten through – Ben is helpful & accommodating. Read the contract – After 4 days into a new month my circumstances changed dramatically and I notified them I wanted to vacate and get a partial refund they refused so I basically paid for over 3 weeks for nothing

What a horrid human being – The female manager at Storage King at Windsor Gardens is the most horrible person I have ever come across. Her attitude needs a major adjustment and when cornered she has the incredible gift of lying to cover her faults and short comings. Why the management keeps this lady employed leaves me speechless.

Storage King does not have any type of corporate contact info listed anywhere. If you call their call center they just route you back to the location manager who doesn't have the ability to do anything. Its extremely frustrating and absolutely ridiculous. They're basically thieves Who just take your money and tell you there is nothing they can do about it. Who knows what other payments this place loses on the reg. I'd definitely stay away.

Incorrect information from phone support – Staff at Woonona Storage King are very helpful and the storage unit was good, however Storage King phone sales incorrectly advised me about getting immediate access, which caused us great inconvenience. There is no support outside strict business hours unless it's a 000 level emergency. We thought the quality of their moving and storage materials was barely adequate.

Poor Customer Service – Ongoing increase in rent and if you call no one to take your call. Even my account was charged increased rent without 30 days notice which against the law.

A rip off – After rent a unit for 8 months storage king informed me of a $20 rise in monthly rent justified it by saying that it is written in the contract! Could not give me what section of the contract it was written in!!! Storage king did not infrom me verbally of this rise after six months before I signed the contract, do not I repeat do not rent a storage shed off them

Storage king frankston stole my stuff – If your late with payment they just sell your stuff. No payment plan offer or anything They give you an extra 10 days And I was within my 10 days! They don't tell you when or how much they sold your stuff for or give you any opportunity to rectify the situation apart from your extra 10 days. All my daughters things are gone I have nothing left. The people are rude and tell you nothing at all ill never recommend them they are thieves and liars

broken gates, roach and rat problems, signs of water leaks and mold issues, even possum nests. Misleading examples of what your shed will look like.... And management. Shesh! Constantly changing and hostile if you dare complain about the above issues. Also no storage company is nice when rent has fallen behind, I've witnessed staff behave heartless about it at times towards parties involved. I would not ever recommend this company.
